honestly, I feel like this shows the beginning of the careless picks of cosmetics. The one that ultimatly resulted in the "elf smissmas crate" from like a few years ago

It's my first time watching one of your videos, and I absolutely loved it! I didn't get to start playing TF2 during the jungle inferno update, and this video made me realise I should look more into the cosmetics that are given to us at every update, as I usually only look at the new maps
I agree lol because people decide to put on nostalgia glasses on its cosmetics just because it was the last major update we got (other then the bluemoon update)
Honestly the less paintable the cosmetic is, the more I like it. I have visual issues & class recognition is SUPER IMPORTANT TO ME and things like War paints & Neons throw me off and are just FUSTRATING to look at on a glance for who's on what team, as with colourblind mode they pop in a way thats distracting as all hell. If it affects team recognition then it's a crap item.
the conspicuous camouflage is one of the best cosmetics from the update, i think i love it for the same reason you hate it, its subtlety. the more in your face cosmetics arent very good imo
jungle inferno cosmetics kinda in weird place. in one hand you got some amazing stuff like Jungle Jersey Classy Capper Commando Elite and Siberian Tigerstripe. then you get the ugly pyro set frog war eagle and bananades. overall, i say the good stuff are nice, even the mediocre stuff are not half bad if you going for a certain look but the bad one stand out like a sore thumb.

Maybe Meet your match as an update is more known for what it removed but Jungle inferno is not well known for one thing in particular. that with Valve infinite hubris they doubled down on their mistake and kept casual mode in, keep in mind casual was still unplayable at this point and today casual only become playable in 2018 (end of support with blue moon non-update) maybe the old peak player count was Jungle inferno but also the historical lowest player count was right after it. because after FULL YEAR of no updates, people expected comp mode to be fixed and return to Quick Play. no people. Jungle inferno is well known as the second betrayal by Valve. because the Vets who hold hope. left to never return. but sadly JI is more know now a days as the update that added 2 bad items, one mediocre flamethrower that is just another variant of the direct hit. And heavy received arguably the best item and that is still not an interesting item. yes i am jaded after 8 years of this mess. we can fix it, it not hard to bring it back #BringBackQuickplay
I think the yeti set is ok, not perfect for non Halloween restriction, but ok. Like, it's cursed but not as cursed as some modern halloween restrictions

A lot of people look fondly back on the last real campain Tf2 evee had... but if you say ir like that... maybe I should have restructured my whole video hahaha

Jungle Inferno was an update that happened after I quit the game back in 2015 or so. I have no memory of it whatsoever aside from "it happened"
