EXE was actually my favorite character in the update of Vs Sonic.exe. Faker was, and still is, among my top 3 favorite songs from the mod. Black Sun was also an amazing song and unforgettable for me.
While Exe is saying "I WILL NOT BE REPLACED" (5:42) it feels as if hes trying hard to be remembered. And from the emotion hes giving it feels like he just wants to be included while ravaging over his anger for the four that were supposed to replace him. It's not about boyfriend anymore
To him, the controversy is nothing, for he is on his own, and like an aggressive pursuer of justice, himself as a concept will continue to persist no matter how many times he is attempted to be shelved back into the void. HE REFUSED AND WILL ALWAYS COME BACK
exactly its not about BF anymore this is about defending HIS pride as the original "deception styled" exe. i think BF is just there to help him work though some shit tbh
the way he sounds so desperate puts a huge impact on the whole song even if its just a cover. it makes me feel like EXE is doing everything in his power to not be removed from the game by using other sonic.exe code to sustain himself for a longer period of time
5:42 The sadness and desperation in his voice, yet the sheer anger and will to live backing it up, the line itself, it's all so perfect, but his calls have been answered with the evidence of Revie's innocence. It makes for a dramatic story honestly.
I hear a kind of rejection of the fact that, at least for the community. Exe, no longer represents anything more than a terrible mistake they let happen, and believing that being like others can be accepted.
@@IsaacTheAbandoned Everything Revie was accused of doing was false, and was a Trap set by the EXE team and the "Victim" for her to loose her status in the EXE team, and for her to be viewed as a terrible person. When multiple videos appear and show the truth, the EXE team doesn't provide any evidence against it, and just claim it's bullshit.
That "I will not be replaced!" at 5:42 sounds so angry, yet because of that anger, you can feel a hint of sadness in it, making the emotion behind it feel all the more powerful. He doesn't care about anything. He just wants to stay alive. Didn't think I'd care about a murderous Sonic the Hedgehog clone based solely on one single line.
I *ADORE* how after the "I WILL NOT BE REPLACED", it no longer feels like a boss fight, it feels like EXE is trying to desperately save himself. Truly beautiful cover.

The thing I like about faker's final note is that it isn't a roar of desperation, unlike Scorched. Instead, it sounds more like a cry of bitter acceptance, since he knows what was done is irreversible, he finds peace in utter helplessness.
I like how the whole “EXE not wanting to be replaced” thing went from a silly joke to a genuinely upsetting moment in this cover. EXE isn’t fighting to end Boyfriend’s life anymore, he isn’t fighting to end anyone’s life anymore, he’s fighting to save his own. But in the end, despite EXE’s initial opposition to the idea of leaving this world, Boyfriend manages to bring EXE to some kind of peace, convincing him through his tried and true beeps and boops that this is the way things need to be in order for everyone - including EXE - to move on peacefully. In the end, EXE calmly accepts that fate has to run its course, and leaves this world with a smile.

Hog and Chaotix will never replace EXE, yes, both are really cool, have really good music and amazing concepts and designs, but even though they try to fill the space left by him being a weird version of a character that turns into a monster, they are their own things, they cannot replace Faker, Faker just like them is also unique and will not have its place taken by any of them. I don't get it, why can't people just like a character without involving it's creator? It's like people would simply forget about the 10 years of history about Xeno/Sonic.exe and its creepypasta and stop using the character if he didn't got a new owner after JCtheHyenna's drama, I mean, I don't like him and what he did, but even so I think Sonic.exe it's not blammed for what he did, and people also think that because now that he got a new owner everyone keep using him, and I think same to EXE, the difference is that he does not have a new owner Since when EXE was removed from the mod I was ok with that, I'm fine with the team removing him, and I'm fine if any Sonic creepypasta character creator don't want their character with EXE, I can respect that I'm just saying that they are more than just an EXE replacement, they are their own things, they are awesome characters and can shine without being just an EXE replacement, and just like EXE, they are also their own things and great characters

Literally none of them are trustworthy, all the devs are so wack and have done some weird shit. I don’t necessarily HATE them (They seemed pretty chill when I talked to some of them on discord) but they still have done some odd things. I've been listening to this alot for the past 2 and a half days, I don't know why i didn't comment. But i love this cover alot! The I will not be replaced at 5:42 is the best part in my opinion, it sounds as if he is trying to not be forgotten from the glitched ones after 5:42 being a replacement (Correct me if I'm wrong). This is better than the original hog too. It just sounds way better with the lines.
I instantly fell in love with the song Faker and eventually I grew fond of Black Sun (since I was tired of deep scruffy "scary" sounding fnf vocals at the time). All I cared about were the songs so that ending with the lines of not wanting to be replaced hit different for me. Bc of those songs were really good!! Nice cover truly ya did a great job :)))

Fr I just imagine this as EXE, knowing full well that Revie was innocent, and he just kept fighting, hoping the truth would come to light. By the glitched part, he's starting to lose hope, but he continues to fight for his life. And when the end of the song hits, that's when EXE finds peace after Revie is found innocent.

It blows my mind just how much this Songs "Design" changes by making it based around exe, It fits him WAY too much, And it's goddamn heartbreaking to hear his Voice break apart the way that it does after he says "I WILL NOT BE REPLACED" The World itself breaking apart afterward is just an added bonus imo. There's honestly only been like 2 other Songs I've ever listened too that got me to tear up in this way, 1 was from the Corruption Mod, One of Daddy Dearest's 3 Songs I believe, "Forget which one off the top of my head" And the other was from Hotline 024, The final Secret Song you can unlock between Nikku and her Mother, It just makes me tear up listening too it. And this one is now in that line-up of Songs that have made me tear up, And the craziest part is that the more I listen to it the more sad it feels, Absolutely insane just how well made this Song is "When used with exe's Vocals specifically" It's a borderline Masterpiece honestly. "Boyfriend's Vocals are also amazing btw, But they were already amazing in the original version as well, Scorched may not of had the best Vocals honestly, But man were BFs good, When it's BF+exe together though? I so agree, hogs voice sounds a bit bland, Adding exe’s voice to it improves it in so many ways, scorched’s part was already pretty good but it lacked the louder and more aggressive voice exe had. And adding all of the other voices to it after “I will not be replaced” just finished it all.
For Scorched, it was being replaced by Hog(lore) For EXE, it was being replaced by Fatal_Error and others But no matter what, Scorched and Hog became pals in the end, and EXE shall live on in the makings of all those who love him as I do Also jeez man this was great! The "I WILL NOT BE REPLACED" line hits so damn hard and has so much emotion and convection behind it! In the original it was Scorched trying to take over Hog with the game burning out from the conflict and struggle of the battle, but here it comes off like EXE trying desperately with everything he's got to keep himself together and resist getting deleted, seemingly by stealing assets from other characters in the game files, mainly those who were seen as replacements for him(I know Hog/Scorched wasn't meant to replace him but still), the game breaking down from all the struggle of EXE refusing to just disappear. Beyond that point it was no longer about BF, it was EXE fighting to stay around, to show he wouldn't fade away, and he does, eventually pulling himself back together, the song ending with EXE proving he isn't going anywhere, and BF only reassuring him that he's here to stay, maybe not in the base mod, but definitely in the works of others. Even if he is replaced, HE WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN.

I love how EXE says that he won't be replaced, it's like he's trying to reassure himself that he won't just be forgotten like that and I kinda feel bad for the guy. If the person who created me gets in trouble and now I need someone else to take my place, I'd be pretty pissed off and a little scared too.
I now imagine EXE as something close to an SCP or anomaly that refuses to be forgotten and haunts this game community as a concept/digital entity reminding everyone he is and will never stay dead. He cares not for anyone, even his problematic creator. He lingers and he will always, *ALWAYS*, b e a r o u n d, like a specter or memory in everyone's mind.

Could easily put a tragic spin on the idea: EXE forcibly tries to keep memory of his presence around, because he's desperately clinging to some limbo of life. If he's actually fully forgotten, that's true death for him, and EXE is terrified of that finality.
@Rellyali1987 so yea, revie prob was doing commission for furry art and when somebody from the team saw this, he showed it and was using fake arguments and they kicked revie and cancelled faker. fan fact: revie was asking for faker's full week, but, no, after that, they won't make any faker week.
Pretty neat cover! The vocal recreation of the first bit was pretty good, and whilst EXE's second form doesn't work as well (in my opinion) with its harsher timbre, especially on the lower notes, it's pulled off excellently! The final part was super creative, emulating that glitch effect with Needlem0use, XTerion, Lord X and Fatal in the original, with Wechidna, Fatal, XTerion and Scorched himself. I particularly liked the use of Scorched's 'I will not be replaced', it does a surprisingly good job at elevating tension and alluding to EXE's past of many 'replacements'.
5:23 It's the part everybody... Man, how this song SLAPS, even still with EXE's vocals, it is so beautiful, both of their voices are PERFECT for this exe doesn't feel AS impactful as scorched, but it's probably that his voice is not loud enough, but that's okay, i still like it!
Many people don't like the EXE after its creator got involved in that controversy involving minors.But there's another point to this, the creator of Sonic.exe ALSO got into a similar controversy, but his creation is STILL loved. I'm glad there are people still using Faker in songs. He shouldn't suffer such an injustice as to be erased and replaced. Faker himself has done nothing wrong. Only the creator. Do not erase a creation for the sins of the creator, just as you would not execute a child for the crimes of the parents.
Well actually, Revie has proofs of being innocent. Large Lenny (or whatever his channel name is, I forgot when writing this) posted a long video explaining everything, and a second one complementing the first one. Please go check it out before you say anything else. I'm not judging, but please have a look on it.

You know, I feel like once the truth of RightBurst's actions fully come to light, I think a pretty good version of this cover would be RightBurst in place of Hog/Scorched (or at least a facsimile of him) and EXE in place of Boyfriend, showing that in a sense, EXE is standing up against the shit that RightBurst did, and him yelling "I will not be replaced" could probably be changed into something like "I will not be forgotten", showing that even after hundreds of years have passed, the impact EXE had made on the .exe community will never be forgotten. Edit: Oh, and this just came to me, but the battle would take place in a black void, but as the song goes on, various characters that have appeared in/were going to appear in the Sonic.exe mod, as well as other characters within the .exe community, would appear as the song went on. Oh, and Revie would be there as well, in place of Girlfriend.

The glitching poses can be the exes of other guilty members of the Sonic.exe mod team, like left for Griatos and Demogri (Madzilla), right for Sally_Alt (falsecow) and Sl4sh (MarStarBro), up for Requital and DSK (ComGaming), and down for Duke, Chaotix, Revived, and Phantom-Arma (AveryAvary). Background characters can include X-Terion, Fatal Error, Starved, and Furnace, and in terms of player characters, Hog could team up with EXE due to their versions of the same track being well-known.
@@AwesomeGamer-om4hm seeing this makes me realize that it could go about like Deathmatch, with Hog/Scorched, Wechidna and Chaotix teaming up with EXE against RightBurst and taking turns. It would start off with just EXE against him, then once EXE transforms, in comes the reinforcements. Oh, and during EXE's transformation, RightBurst expresses annoyance saying "Oh, oh yeah no, go ahead and transform, see if I care. You are STILL GOING DOWN YOU SON OF A BITCH!" During the song, RightBurst is nothing but annoyed, then pissed at EXE's persistence, then genuine fear once the song gets near to the end due to the four entities ganging up on him.

I'll be honest, in spite of the controversy I think that Faker is one of the better EXEs. Even if the creator of the character was an asshole, it doesn't take away from what the character is or could have been. The creator of Ren and Stimpy did some fucked up things, but the show was still popular and admired for its humor nonetheless. In cases like these, it's best to separate the art from the artist and appreciate the craft for what it is instead of letting the actions of its creator destroy its meaning.

Hog is super cool, but it won’t be the same as faker. It’s as close to a replacement we could have gotten but they will never replace what faker was, and especially what it could have been. I’m glad you’re literally the only person i’ve seen who ever does amazing covers of faker though, it’s damn awesome

people be comparing these characters because they have faker forms dont realize that pretty much every other sonic exe in the mod has a faker form, although i do admit that scorched looks a lot like EXE design wise.

I like how when EXE starts to glitch and lose control you can see him singing less and less due to the other exes like fatal error taking over/overpowering him till the end where it's just him. really makes me think he's fighting, gets overwhelmed by sheer numbers, has one last push & is finally put to rest by bf cause he can't really fight anymore

Faker is such a good concept, they should have simply use it and made it clear that they don’t aprove Revie's actions. @@handrising3714 if im honest. Hog has such a good character design without having any blood or gore around him. It’s just so cool to me because. The transformation reminded me a lot of unleashed’s werehog transformation. Which was fenominal. I would imagine Xeno just using the chaos emerald to make hog into scorched.
I don't have the time to explain this in depth, but I will direct you to Large Lenny's channel. He made a video showing evidence on why Revie is actually innocent and the grooming accusations were fabricated to kick her out of the mod. This is backed up by files in the unfinished 3.0 build in the description of another video he posted, as well as the evidence he presents in the full 30-minute video in the description. But this plays into why they pretty much replaced Faker/EXE with Hog/Scorched. They liked the EXE that Revie created but hated Revie, and they knew after they kicked her out that she wouldn't let them keep her EXE in the mod uncredited, so they made another EXE with pretty much the exact same gimmick as Faker/EXE. They literally have a similar change and both characters seem to have some association with fire/burning/heat. I think this discussion should still be had even if the mod is canceled because the higher-ups in the EXE dev team (since there were like 30-60 devs on it) slandered someone as a pedo just to get them kicked off the team so they could add all of their OCs into the mod. It is incredibly scummy of them to do so and they need to be held up to scrutiny for this.

One thing about EXE over Hog is that he looks closer to Sonic than Hog and I think that makes it look more off,like Hog is just EXE but cuter and Scorched is just Werehog transformed EXE. So that's why I feel like Hog is less scarier than EXE

When multiple videos appear and show the truth, the EXE team doesn't provide any evidence against it, and just claim it's bullshit.
That "I will not be replaced!" at 5:42 sounds so angry, yet because of that anger, you can feel a hint of sadness in it, making the emotion behind it feel all the more powerful. He doesn't care about anything. He just wants to stay alive. Didn't think I'd care about a murderous Sonic the Hedgehog clone based solely on one single line.

The thing I like about faker's final note is that it isn't a roar of desperation, unlike Scorched. Instead, it sounds more like a cry of bitter acceptance, since he knows what was done is irreversible, he finds peace in utter helplessness.

I like how the whole “EXE not wanting to be replaced” thing went from a silly joke to a genuinely upsetting moment in this cover. EXE isn’t fighting to end Boyfriend’s life anymore, he isn’t fighting to end anyone’s life anymore, he’s fighting to save his own. But in the end, despite EXE’s initial opposition to the idea of leaving this world, Boyfriend manages to bring EXE to some kind of peace, convincing him through his tried and true beeps and boops that this is the way things need to be in order for everyone - including EXE - to move on peacefully. In the end, EXE calmly accepts that fate has to run its course, and leaves this world with a smile.

I've been listening to this alot for the past 2 and a half days, I don't know why i didn't comment. But i love this cover alot! The I will not be replaced at 5:42 is the best part in my opinion, it sounds as if he is trying to not be forgotten from the glitched ones after 5:42 being a replacement (Correct me if I'm wrong). This is better than the original hog too. It just sounds way better with the lines.

Fr I just imagine this as EXE, knowing full well that Revie was innocent, and he just kept fighting, hoping the truth would come to light. By the glitched part, he's starting to lose hope, but he continues to fight for his life. And when the end of the song hits, that's when EXE finds peace after Revie is found innocent.

There's honestly only been like 2 other Songs I've ever listened too that got me to tear up in this way, 1 was from the Corruption Mod, One of Daddy Dearest's 3 Songs I believe, "Forget which one off the top of my head" And the other was from Hotline 024, The final Secret Song you can unlock between Nikku and her Mother, It just makes me tear up listening too it.

Adding exe’s voice to it improves it in so many ways, scorched’s part was already pretty good but it lacked the louder and more aggressive voice exe had. And adding all of the other voices to it after “I will not be replaced” just finished it all.

Also jeez man this was great! The "I WILL NOT BE REPLACED" line hits so damn hard and has so much emotion and convection behind it! In the original it was Scorched trying to take over Hog with the game burning out from the conflict and struggle of the battle, but here it comes off like EXE trying desperately with everything he's got to keep himself together and resist getting deleted, seemingly by stealing assets from other characters in the game files, mainly those who were seen as replacements for him(I know Hog/Scorched wasn't meant to replace him but still), the game breaking down from all the struggle of EXE refusing to just disappear.
Beyond that point it was no longer about BF, it was EXE fighting to stay around, to show he wouldn't fade away, and he does, eventually pulling himself back together, the song ending with EXE proving he isn't going anywhere, and BF only reassuring him that he's here to stay, maybe not in the base mod, but definitely in the works of others. Even if he is replaced, HE WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN.

Pretty neat cover! The vocal recreation of the first bit was pretty good, and whilst EXE's second form doesn't work as well (in my opinion) with its harsher timbre, especially on the lower notes, it's pulled off excellently!
The final part was super creative, emulating that glitch effect with Needlem0use, XTerion, Lord X and Fatal in the original, with Wechidna, Fatal, XTerion and Scorched himself. I particularly liked the use of Scorched's 'I will not be replaced', it does a surprisingly good job at elevating tension and alluding to EXE's past of many 'replacements'.

You know, I feel like once the truth of RightBurst's actions fully come to light, I think a pretty good version of this cover would be RightBurst in place of Hog/Scorched (or at least a facsimile of him) and EXE in place of Boyfriend, showing that in a sense, EXE is standing up against the shit that RightBurst did, and him yelling "I will not be replaced" could probably be changed into something like "I will not be forgotten", showing that even after hundreds of years have passed, the impact EXE had made on the .exe community will never be forgotten.
Edit: Oh, and this just came to me, but the battle would take place in a black void, but as the song goes on, various characters that have appeared in/were going to appear in the Sonic.exe mod, as well as other characters within the .exe community, would appear as the song went on. Oh, and Revie would be there as well, in place of Girlfriend.

The glitching poses can be the exes of other guilty members of the Sonic.exe mod team, like left for Griatos and Demogri (Madzilla), right for Sally_Alt (falsecow) and Sl4sh (MarStarBro), up for Requital and DSK (ComGaming), and down for Duke, Chaotix, Revived, and Phantom-Arma (AveryAvary).
Background characters can include X-Terion, Fatal Error, Starved, and Furnace, and in terms of player characters, Hog could team up with EXE due to their versions of the same track being well-known.

Oh, and during EXE's transformation, RightBurst expresses annoyance saying "Oh, oh yeah no, go ahead and transform, see if I care. You are STILL GOING DOWN YOU SON OF A BITCH!"
During the song, RightBurst is nothing but annoyed, then pissed at EXE's persistence, then genuine fear once the song gets near to the end due to the four entities ganging up on him.

I'll be honest, in spite of the controversy I think that Faker is one of the better EXEs. Even if the creator of the character was an asshole, it doesn't take away from what the character is or could have been. The creator of Ren and Stimpy did some fucked up things, but the show was still popular and admired for its humor nonetheless. In cases like these, it's best to separate the art from the artist and appreciate the craft for what it is instead of letting the actions of its creator destroy its meaning.

@@handrising3714 if im honest. Hog has such a good character design without having any blood or gore around him. It’s just so cool to me because. The transformation reminded me a lot of unleashed’s werehog transformation. Which was fenominal. I would imagine Xeno just using the chaos emerald to make hog into scorched.
I don't have the time to explain this in depth, but I will direct you to Large Lenny's channel. He made a video showing evidence on why Revie is actually innocent and the grooming accusations were fabricated to kick her out of the mod. This is backed up by files in the unfinished 3.0 build in the description of another video he posted, as well as the evidence he presents in the full 30-minute video in the description. But this plays into why they pretty much replaced Faker/EXE with Hog/Scorched. They liked the EXE that Revie created but hated Revie, and they knew after they kicked her out that she wouldn't let them keep her EXE in the mod uncredited, so they made another EXE with pretty much the exact same gimmick as Faker/EXE. They literally have a similar change and both characters seem to have some association with fire/burning/heat.
I think this discussion should still be had even if the mod is canceled because the higher-ups in the EXE dev team (since there were like 30-60 devs on it) slandered someone as a pedo just to get them kicked off the team so they could add all of their OCs into the mod. It is incredibly scummy of them to do so and they need to be held up to scrutiny for this.

One thing about EXE over Hog is that he looks closer to Sonic than Hog and I think that makes it look more off,like Hog is just EXE but cuter and Scorched is just Werehog transformed EXE.
So that's why I feel like Hog is less scarier than EXE
