I agree, it really was. I’ve seen Radiohead several times over the years, and this is the most immersed and intimate I’ve ever felt while watching Thom and Johnny. Ugh, how lucky are we that we got to be a part of that rarity

Thom even comments on it when they all stupidly wander back in and interrupt the show.

Love Peaky Blinders and I was sooooo happy to see the connections between Radiohead and Peaky Blinders. Of course, no brainer, what other musicicians could get the Shelby phenomena the way Radiohead does? To me, nothing Radiohead does can be wrong. They are perfection and complete satisfaction. I sat in the seats, because i wanted to be comfortable… but now I kind of regret not taking advantage of the GA and getting close. Even in the seats, I was closer than I’ve ever been to them. Maybe closer than I’ll ever be. Damn, thanks again for bringing me back to that wonderful evening

I was at this show standing right near you, although I didn’t let that crazy gal write a number on me. The iPhone microphones and gain management are indeed shocking for what they are and it’s rarely noted in reviews. This is the case from about the 7 on.

I’m thinking it was mainly due an excellent job by the audio mixer and I just happened to be located at what must have been the sweet spot to record from the audience, because I did nothing special. Funny you made this comment today, because I’m just now starting to upload the full audio from the show (w multi-language custom subtitles which drags things out but is important to me to have done right for some strange reason).
This was the show I attended, the music was all amazing but Teleharmonic was easily my favorite song played. But when I finally heard the studio version it honestly felt like the song died for me, but it still lives on with these live recordings, especially this one.
@@samcaldwell7022 Honestly it's hard to tell, it may be the pure emotion conveyed live, it could also be the differences in instruments from the live version to the studio version. Maybe it's the slight change of lyrics who knows. It reminds me of the art piece Who's Afraid of Red Yellow and Blue by Barnett Newman. The piece was destroyed by someone with a box cutter in 1986, since then the painting has been restored but people who had seen the painting before it was damaged report the refurbished painting as being slightly off from the original, most likely due to the complexity of the materials used in the paint being inposible to replicate without knowing the exact recipe used. TL;DR: It's just not the same.
