@Amarjit Singh Dhesi You don't know the difference between designing and manufacturing then. They design everything themselves, but some things other factories make for them.

Even though Zenvo may not MANUFACTURE everything "in house", it's STILL rare and unique for such a small car company to design everything at their main place.

@Amarjit Singh Dhesi yes, porsche is also expensive but when you sit in it, you can feel the difference, the seats are fixed tight, in the corners the body stays flat, the sound is good and even the fuel consumption is okay if you drive normally. My friend has a porsche and i have a bmw and his porsche is a lot more fun and special conpared to my bmw

The more extreme the visuals of active aero, the more organic the car represents itself. It is almost transforming in motion - the childhood dream of every car enthusiast.

Honestly, zenvo are my guilty pleasure in cars, i just hope they release a completely new car at some point, as they've only made two cars which are very similar visibly
This channel takes car journalism and blends it into art; something worth admiring, something that brings out the critic in the viewer akin to watching a movie. The specifications, the power & torque figures become immaterial in contrast to the experience, fun and joy that comes with driving.
It's simply stands apart from other automotive review channels at least when it comes to youtube.
The cinematography, the sound recording/design, the narration come together to put you in the passenger seat alongside Henry.
Carfection's short movies on car reviews stand alongside the ones made by the likes of Top Gear & Grand Tour with their insane production value and also Fifth Gear.
The fact they made the whole thing in house is pretty cool in and of itself. Especially the engine
This car is based in/near my village (as was much of this video) but the owner drives this thing. It is out all the time!

The first time i saw the ZENVO "ST1" make my eyes i just love the design i even watch how its made and the design of that st1 was from eagle face.
The TSRS is really a masterpiece of an eagle i see the edge design like and that wing is awesome...

Just having space for a 'tablet' makes the most sense regarding in car entertainment.
I'm guessing money and selling over priced crap is the only reason others have not done it?
It's not "bespoke", so would be looked down upon by those well-heeled enough to buy it. Despite, as Henry put it, likely working a lot better than a manufacturer would come up with by themself.
Larger manufacturers want the entire UI more customized, and Apple doesn't allow that on their ipads.
Zenvo just developed their own app for the infotainment and if you leave that, you land in the normal ipad OS GUI.
@@tommihommi1 And yet they all have Android Auto or Apple Car play and A LOT of people just that instead of the manufacturer's OS. So much money spent for nothing....same with the 24 steps setup for the car. Dude, just make confort, normal, sport and race and call it a day. What's the point to have F-ing 12 steps to setup the suspension of a car LUL
@@tavirosu25 those have GUIs and hardware optimized for car use, unlike the basic ipad.
I don't think an ipad will survive the heat and cold testing cars from big manufacturers are subjected to, either.

With an iPad you know exactly what you are going to get. Andin the end is just that, an iPad. Simple & fast apple gui.
For additional 7K, I would say, they could port it to Android.

While watching this vid, I think I realized what exhaust I like and what I don't. One pop with fire = cool. Constant pops, crackles, and/or burble tune = not cool

I agree. Those constant pops and crackles are the most stupid and annoying thing with modern supercars.
I live by a main road in my city and 9/10 times it sounds like an M4 carbine emptying a clip it's just a Golf R or A45 driving at 30mph. That is not the sound of a fast car, it's the sound of an obnoxious ass thay thinks their 2 litre 4 pot is a Ferrari.

No, just manically giddy laughter, the best kind really.
Some other reviews of this car have indicated that at high speed (when the wing does have a pronounced effect) it will lift the front corner opposite of the rear corner it is "pressing" upon, thus spoiling the drive-ability and control. No way of Henry to experience that on a country road but very disappointing if true.
The car is amazing, but what did it feel like holding a Camaro/Corvette steering wheel in such an expensive car?
Say what you will about the Corvette,but even the most extreme ZR1 hasn't caught fire from simply driving....
@@blairbrown4812 I've loved the Corvette and has been my favorite car since the C5.R. But a 130k steering wheel would feel put of place in a million+ dollar car. Is what I'm trying to get to.

the wing has cause alot of controversy, people say that it helps pull the car in on the rear but the fact is that theres nothing doing the same in the front makes it unstable in the corners

I’d certainly buy this before buying a Chiron, AMG Project One or any other comparatively big manufacturer’s car.
Like Koenigsegg and Pagani; Zenvo has achieved something that the bigger names have failed to do so for a very, very long time and that is to design a proper poster pin-up car.
This car does for me today what a Countach, Diablo, F40, Testarossa, Berlinetta Boxer and F1 all did back in the 80’s and 90’s and that in itself is worth more to me than a smoother ride and faster laptime.
Having seen 2 of these irl.. they are fucking massive! But damn is it a cool product to see when you're danish

Yeah built in a shed using crap materials and a tape measure to weld the chassis. That's fine for budget manufacturers of yesteryear, like TVR for example......but for a 1.5 Mill car ........ridiculous. they also admitted that Zenvo doesn't mean anything, it just sounds good.....apparently......shite

But with it's weight, single clutch, and non-carbon chassis it is ridiculous to even compare this to supercars.

NB. Henry, please can you and/or your team, invest in a better microphone. The one you have is good but i think the watcher experience would be better if you had a microphone that picks up on deeper tones (or maybe even just edit your audio to bring out the deeper tones). It will be more immersive when watching your epic content.

While it’s obviously a fantastic drive, I do not see the €1 million + value. I’d take a Mclaren 765LT and pocket the massive difference.
Honestly, save even more money and get a Alfa Giulia Q. I would bet that the 505 bhp that the Alfa puts down is better than this recycled piece of junk.

If the race mode improves shift times and increases throttle response then what is the purpose of road mode? Isn't it redundant?
I'm not sure about the throttle response but I would assume the shifts are slower in road mode for a more violent experience
