how can you remove the valve springs without the valve falling into the cylinder! I imagine putting that piston at top dead center!! could you talk about this topic and recommend tools to compress the springs !!!
@@kern417if you have it installed would you recommend it? I was looking at it over the mst intake because its a complete intake with the turbo inlet. And no worries your content is so thorough and informative you can take all the time you want 😂
Hey Kern ! I love ur vids ! I had a quick question regarding running full e85 on my b58 stage 2 with just the tu pump & a catless dp, i use the car as my daily to get to work every day & i run full e85 cuz it is cheaper, i drive 150 miles every day . In ur professional opinion, how consistently should i change the oil ? Because i know e85 wears on the oil. I run 0w-20 Valvoline full synthetic from Amazon , please respond! Thank you .
I would try changing at 5000-7000 miles and send it out for an oil analysis. I've done my last few oil changes with E85 and about 6000 miles and it looked good
Slightly, the cam shaft is actually a different part # between gen 1 and 2 but look extremely identical not sure if it was just don’t for sku separation for the factory when building, I would imagine it’s the same procedure however
Hey Kern, was wondering what suspension you’re running on the 440i? I’m looking to get coilovers for my 6mt 340i xdrive with edc, is there any you’d recommend? I don’t mind getting an edc delete

Awesome install. Gotta add this to the bookmarks. Are you still going to do review on the Racereadyperformance parts intake?
Yes it's already installed. I'm just backed up on videos

Would there be much difference in the process of the cam installation procedure between a Gen 1 and a Gen 2 B58?

generally it's the same. The main difference is the Vanos like I showed, but the timing kit comes with the tools you'd need.
Why and when should this be done
The cams i went with only improve airflow. It still keeps the stock fuel lobe
So wouldnt doing exhaut cam and intake cam combo be done at same time?
Just depends on your goals

@@kern417 are you pleased with them or would you go a different route knowing what you know now
@@acebrometheus6 i love them
Sorry if i may have missed it in video, does this cam also increase fuel flow or is it just for air flow
The one i got is only airflow
