    Azerbaijani - Shot down by russian air defense.
    South Korea - Tragedy that could have been avoided had the Muan international airport followed international standards for the layout instead of building a concrete wall (cost saving measures) that was erected in 2023, after their previous one made of much more malleable materials was partially destroyed.
    Canada - Everyone is alive and safe.
    Meanwhile South Korean media is attributing the tragedy solely on "birdstrike" and simply refuses to mention anything about Muan airport or the concrete wall. Considering the sheer number of tragedies that had happened in South Korea over the past few years, it's safe to say you should reconsider visiting that place for the time being.

      It’s more that airlines are keeping old planes 2 decades plus in the fleet. Airlines barely survived Covid and have been pretty tight with money even though airfares have ballooned. Soon they will need to update or face more equipment failure.

    • @SH_space
      @SH_space 3 дні тому

      @@claudiocorleone7856 There is nothing wrong with flying an old aircraft - they are just as safe as newer aircraft. I will fly on a 20 or 30-year-old 737 any day. Airlines have stricter and more expensive maintenance procedures on older aircraft - the whole reason why they're eventually retired is because maintenance becomes uneconomical - NOT because the aircraft is no longer airworthy.

    May be it is the most safe way to travel by air but the truth is that if accident accrues then it is the most terrifying experience human being can face... just imagine what those victims goes trough in South Korea and how now their relatives and loved ones dealing with knowing how horrible end the life of their loved ones. Its terrifying

    • @SH_space
      @SH_space 3 дні тому

      You're absolutely correct in that it's terrifying, but air travel is not special in this regard. There are many other events that could happen to someone where, it's very unlikely, but the experience is exceedingly unpleasant.

    I'll put it this way.
    If I have to fly anywhere ever again. I'm going to be asking the pilot flying the plane I'm on, if they own a smart device, or have anywhere they absolutely need to be in the next two days.
    If either answer is yes, I won't be boarding that plane.

    the video of the airplane crash shows that the pilot landed well and safely but crashed into a concrete block at the end of the runway and that caused the explosion. the concrete block shouldnt have been at the end of the runway

    The first person interviewed said “it’s still the safest form of air-travel” …. well there is in lot one form . The third said the accidents are “blown out of proportion ”. Well, not really, The accidents are reported as any other mass cause of death.

    • @SH_space

      I mean, they kind of are blown out of proportion. Yes, crashes like these are terrible and there is a horrible loss of life that should be reported, but many media outlets will use events like this to try and scare the reader (for clicks and engagement).

    It is like traveling by car... Only safe if one reaches their destination without having an accident...same as flying... Remember this time period is extra busy so expect more tragedies... There is no profit when planes are on the tarmac so mistakes.. oversights are bound to happen... Bottom line.. when your number is up we are done...

      @@mbergamin16 No honest person will deny that Boeing have made mistakes that have cost hundreds of lives and potentially more - and they need to be held accountable. However, the media wants you to believe that every Boeing aircraft out there is basically a deathtrap, and that just is not true. If an aircraft is unsafe to fly, it won't be allowed to fly. Simple as that.
