Thank you Terri and Lol and happy dogs! I’m going to make this! And thanks to Rosemary Gladstar for defending folk medicines. Years ago, in Canada, the federal government attempted to prohibit growing and propagation of herbs. Obviously some corporate entity lobbied (funded) to control and own herb rights. Petitions were started and signed and sent to government. All this happened from small independent health food shops and a small segment of population who were considered “alternative.” The whole idea was quashed, the right to grow herbs and make natural remedies was preserved. Blessings to you🍁🍂🐇
It’s not just in Canada that natural remedies are being discouraged , it is everywhere. I am glad I live up North (Yukon) where I can pick plenty of clean flowers, plants etc to make my own natural remedies. The pharmaceutical industry continues to have way too much power, it is very sad and scary.
I needed to stop back here and tell you how much my spirit honors and s respects yours. I utilize your videos in my homeschooling. Much much love soul sister
Hi Terri, love your recipe for fire cider. I'm glad you told the story of fire cider for those who didn't know! Just another example of Herbalist standing together for the people. Have a great week💚🌙🌿 Cynthia
Happy Birthday Danu and you may always receive the best of everything you wish for. Thank you for a great recipe - FIRE CIDER will be even more potent if the garlic cloves are crushed and allowed to sit in the open for at least an hour before mixing with the other ingredients. Adding lemon juice to the garlic after airing it will enhance its healing qualities.
Happy Birthday! I was a teacher too and my birthday is end of August and during week before start of school! I've been making Firecider for years - got recipe from Rosemary. My grandmother made a similar concoction she called "The Remedy" an old New England tradition. She grew up on a farm and they made their own "medicine" back then. Have a great week - enjoy this beautiful time of the year.
Happy Birthday to you Terri. I made Rosemary Gladstar's Fire Cider recipe last year, and NEVER AGAIN will I shred horseradish without wearing swim goggles! I still have a bottle in my fridge. It is a great thing to have and to use. I will add thyme to my next Fire Cider. I also made a sage oxymel (this year). Your new flooring is beautiful. Happy Equinox to you and Lol. Blessings from Canada. 🍁🍂🍁
Also want to add how i love how the cat just looks so sensible while the dogs love playing about. Same here at my house, my dog acts so crazy and excited about everything and the cat just looks at her like 🙄 so funny
I celebrated this year by collecting gemstones, feeding squirrels, creating a scent made out of flowers and bark, and making a candle ❤ I am definitely subscribing!
Thanks for inspiring me to make my own fire cider this autumn. Really enjoyed watching the dogs playing and your cat watching whilst you were chopping.
I tried your dandelion oil recipe...works wonders for my arthritis, thank you so much. I had known about dandelion for kidney and liver issues but I never realized the power of dandelion for arthritis!..love learning from you. I live in Illinois USA and consider you a great teacher!..
Good Morning Terri! Happy Birthday! Thank you for sharing your version. And thanks to Rosemary Gladstar for setting the record straight and not allowing big corporations to take something that is not theirs. Have a great week! Blessings
Not sure if you're aware, after Rosemary Gladstar won the lawsuit she published a book, "Fire Cider! 101 Zesty Recipes for Health-Boosting Remedies Made with Apple Cider Vinegar" including fire cider recipes from many herbalists and enthusiasts. It's a wonderful reference. I found a copy on Amazon US. Next year I'm adding thyme to my fire cider! Have a lovely week!
Oh happy birthday Terri!🎈🎂🍻 And best wishes for a healthy and happy year ahead. Thank you for this lovely gift today and for all you do to guide the reemergence of the sacred wise women around the world! Now out to have a talk with my horseradish😉!!
👍I remember 4 yrs ago you had part 2 fire cider vinegar. I’ve been making it ever since. Thyme is used as thymol Iisterine which is thyme for those who don’t know for antibacterial properties. It is my fav as well. Love your oxymel recipe for winter is great. Old fashioned remedies are best I believe more than chemical syrups and pills made today thanks for sharing
Lots of dock - just now hearing that dock roots, like burdock can be used in various remedies - our ancestors were more smart than we are (and modern medicine as well !).
Thank you so much Terry ❤ I made my first batch last year thanks to your other video and I'm on my third batch right now, gave to friends and family, they loved it! Just to vent a little, they (health office, under WHO-UN orders for sure) just banned Ashwagandha in Brazil 😮 surreal times!
I work in education and all the students and staff get sick this time of year. I’ve been making Fire Cider Vinegar and taking it over the autumn/winter season for three years now and for the exact same amount of time I haven’t caught the freshers flu (as they call it) No coincidence hey? I would never be without it. Just wish I could persuade my colleagues to take it so I don’t have to be the one at work doing everyone’s job while they recover. Haha! I just LOVE the taste and take it by the spoon but also have it on salads and in soups at the end of cooking.
Thank you for the reminder, I'll get my batch started soon. One thing I do is, when I strain off the material I add local honey to vinegar and really enjoy the sweet and pungent flavor.
Hi Danu! Happy Birthday (a bit belated) and Happy Autumnal Equinox, my favorite time of year also. If you burn a nice wide candle while you chop/peel any of the Alliums and Horse Radish, it will vaporize the volatile compounds and it helps with the tears! Have a beautiful day!
These seasonal immune boosters that have been passed down since ....forever are the best. I do something similar as a tea: peppermint cayenne pepper, garlic, ginger, raw honey. Now I'll add some sage! Happy birthday, Joyous Autumn 💝
Thanks, Terri! After watching your video yesterday, I dug my horseradish and this morning made a large batch of Fire Cider for my family and myself. I had lots of fresh thyme, sage, rosemary and oregano, so added those as well! Thanks for describing the benefits of all of the ingredients as well.
Thank you Terri and Lol! Hope you had a wonderful Equinox Birthday! I loved how all the pets got a chance to 'talk to us' today! Fire Cider is a great remedy/ preventative. We don't see weather changes until mid-Nov here and never a white Christmas 😊🌴🌴.
Hello, I have made fire cider for the past three years my husband and I have taken it Faithfully every day and we have not been sick. Fantastic immune Builder thank you so much for your beautiful videos.
Can’t wait to make some fire cider. I got a kick out of the dogs wrestling around. The cat was looking at them like it was trying to figure out what the fuss was about. 😂
Thank you for making videos. I love to watch your videos, you inspire me . I recently found out I'm Irish through DNA testing, Makes me happy. I absolutely love your culture.
Ooh yes! I got Rosemary Gladstar's fire cider book for Christmas last year, which I really loved (apart from the whole saga with the court case). I grew horseradish especially for it (I live in Italy where you never see it for sale). You've inspired me to get out there and actually make it this weekend! Thanks :) And hope you had a great birthday, Mabon blessings!
Very much appreciate Terri!!!! Thank goodness for individuals like Rosemary and yourself for being tremendous powers of example. And…Happy Birthday to you🍁🌻!
Happy Birthday Terri 🎉 Thank you for all your videos & knowledge that you share. I'm definitely going to give this recipe a try & tweak it a little. I love the way Lol edits your videos with scenes from your garden & your pets! Happy Sunday ❤😊
I have seen you make this in a previous film, but lovely to get an update and reminder of the ingredients and constitutes of this lovely cider, particularly at this time of year and part of the story behind the court case, we all need to be aware of these things. Thank you once again for a good film this week, see you next week, all the best.
I am going to make it today. The Happiest Birthday! Have an amazing day! Thank you for all of your inspirational videos. I so look forward to seeing your videos every Sunday. ❤
Happy Birthday Terri xxx I love Autumn (winter) - love the wild wind mixed with the warm/cooler air and all the vibrant colours ... running down the road laughing with my daughter, chasing the swirling wind and leaves together, whirling about in love and laughter. Simple pleasures. I hope you enjoy your happiest treats for your birthday xxx
I love your combo. I add lemon and orange slices, a few clove, parsley, rosemary, turmeric and I Chop a few cranberries for color. I make it a gallon at a time. Ha ha. Happiest birthday wishes, Terri. Blessed be.
Happy Birthday, Terri! How fun to celebrate your birthday aligned with the Autumn Equinox. Here in Wisconsin, USA (Central Time) the Equinox occurred Sat. Sept. 23rd at 1:50 a.m. Your videos bring Connemara into my heart, and make the world a little smaller. Thank you!
11:09 When I was loading ships for a fruit shop. Garlic , Chillies and Ginger were the biggest load. Then bananas, tomaotoes capsicums and the usual. Garlic Ginger Chilli. Just a note but it is what we need.
Happy Belated Birthday! Fall has always been my favorite time of year. The leaves on my trees in my yard have already started changing into their lovely red and gold colors. Ginger is the herb I decided to learn more about this year so planted some this past spring. I'll have a nice harvest of it in a few weeks. Looks like the Fire Cider Vinegar is excellent and replaces all of the over the counter cold/flu meds that have way too many side effects. Thanks for sharing that with us.
Blessings on your Ginger harvest - what a great idea, to work with one herb and learn all about it. You are right, Fire Cider is the one winter remedy we can all benefit from xx
It’s hard to believe it’s already that time…made my first batch last year and added lemons as well…I really need to get some horseradish and add it to the garden…thank you for sharing …Rosemary Gladstar we call the mother of herbalism here…so many who were willing to carry these remedies around the world and share their ancestors natural medicines…I’m the one in our family who is the gardener and maker of natural medicines…so much out there to help and keep us well just open your eyes to all of the wonders and gifts available…stay blessed my friend
Oh thank you Terri🙏🏼I will be making some of this right away for my family during cold season! Your dogs are wonderful…I get such a chuckle watching their antics! Be well❣️

You are an inspiration indeed. Beautiful gardens, and the day is amazing...Love the puppies blowing off steam. Going to make some fire cider vinegar.... American capitalism will strangle it's own... I love the witch panel on your wall. SO cute.
Another wonderful program! Thank you so much. Happy Birthday! I hope it was a wonderful day and that this is your best year so far. This time of year is a time of deep reflection, repair, and new beginnings in many cultures. Yesterday, we just finished the Jewish High Holy Days, and Jewish New Year, with a focus on deep personal reflection, repair (of everything from relationships to the planet); and new beginnings. I am definitely going to make some Fire Cider! This tutorial on Fire Cider was very helpful, and greatly appreciated as we face yet another wave of COVID and other health challenges for our families. Peace be with you friend. ❤🌳🌲🌻🥀🍀
@@DanusIrishHerbGarden also I’m glad your birthday falls on the autumn equinox. I understand the feeling bc my birthday is always in the first week of Advent, sometimes (like this year) it was on the first Sunday of Advent. It’s basically like the Catholic New Year as they reset the liturgical calendar, and the religious beginning of the Christmas season.
I’m so excited to make this recipe. My husband wants to take it too. I’m trying to get him interested in herbs . After watching you and hearing how good this is for you he’s interested. I’ve got him drinking teas now too! Thank you, see you next time.❤️
Love this, dear Terri! 😍I've been making lots of fire cider in the past few weeks, for keeps and for gifts. Feeling empowered for the upcoming winter. 😎 A Blessed Equinox To You! 🧡🌾🧡
Happy birthday! the 22nd is my birthday too! It's a great time of year to reflect and enjoy and prepare for the coming winter. I hope you had a lovely day :)
Hello!! My daughter asked me to make some for her and her family. Well, this is a nice time to go and enjoy her company and show her how to make fire cider! Thank you for all that you do!
A happy birthday Terri, will be making this, my son is sniffing and snuffling today so should get going with it. I also a firm believer in garlic, ginger and thyme. I like to do tofu with all those so will hopefully help with the snuffles until your recipe is ready, thank you both as always and your animals are so amusing to watch, thank you, have a good birthday week x
Hello 😊 Fire Cider Vinegar, smells good just by saying it.....I am looking forward to making that, I love things about nutrition, and herbal remedies, thankyou, have a lovely week, god bless, 😊

I’m so excited to make this recipe. My husband wants to take it too. I’m trying to get him interested in herbs . After watching you and hearing how good this is for you he’s interested. I’ve got him drinking teas now too! Thank you, see you next time.❤️
That's brilliant! Glad to hear he is taking teas. Good for you! xx
Happy Sunday morning thank you 💖
Thank you too xx
I will add Horseradish to my future garden ! Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I Enjoy, adding the fire cider to soups, as well as just the general prevention of illness.
Look forward to watching at bedtime . Your beautiful vids are so relaxing. I love Sunday evenings . Thank you
Happy Birthday. That already sounds like a hot mixture. Thank you for the recipe. I'll need this this fall, winter, and early spring.
It’s so much easier for me when I don’t have to follow a really specific complicated recipe. Thank you!
Love this, dear Terri! 😍I've been making lots of fire cider in the past few weeks, for keeps and for gifts. Feeling empowered for the upcoming winter. 😎 A Blessed Equinox To You! 🧡🌾🧡
So glad to hear you are feeling that way. Love and blessings to you and the boys xx
Happy birthday! the 22nd is my birthday too! It's a great time of year to reflect and enjoy and prepare for the coming winter. I hope you had a lovely day :)
Happy Birthday to you too - another one! It is the perfect time of year for just that xx
Hello!! My daughter asked me to make some for her and her family. Well, this is a nice time to go and enjoy her company and show her how to make fire cider! Thank you for all that you do!
Sounds great! xx
So peaceful and comforting. I love all of your content - thank you for sharing 🙌🏻
And so proud of Rosemary Gladstar who won the case to keep Fire cyder away from the Big greedy guys ❤️👏💪
She deserves our praise for sure - a truly lovely woman xx
A happy birthday Terri, will be making this, my son is sniffing and snuffling today so should get going with it. I also a firm believer in garlic, ginger and thyme. I like to do tofu with all those so will hopefully help with the snuffles until your recipe is ready, thank you both as always and your animals are so amusing to watch, thank you, have a good birthday week x
Thank you so much for your great information and wonderful presentation!
Glad you enjoyed it xx
