Loved this video. There are so many theatrical videos out there these days on UA-cam. It was lovely to see something homegrown and authentic related to the beautiful season of Samhain
Dear Terri....you exude Beauty, Grace, Charm, Wisdom and Magic. Thank you for sharing your videos. You are a light and inspiration for all. Everyone is blessed who magically finds your channel.
I love how so many cultures have a celebration for ones ancestor and acknowledging the dead, while also being gratitude over the harvest and such. Very fascinating and wonderful how all these festivals are connected. Thank you for sharing your traditions with us.
Hiya Thankyou for visit. Colcannon such a warm dish at this time of year. Blessings from a chilly rainy evening here across the pond Ontario Canada 🇨🇦🐝
Last night I set my intentions to dedicate myself and be more diligent in my studies of tradition - to connect more with my Irish ancestry. I have also been struggling with what to focus on in my herb garden for the past two years. Today, I am suggested your video. Looking forward to watching the rest of your channel's videos! Blessings.
I began taking Terri 's herbal course for similar reasons. I am given a small garden to love and nurture and this summer have discovered many delicate plants growing throughout the yard. Danu reaches out to all her grandchildren! Happy Samain!
I wish we had a few of the trees that you have. However, they probably wouldn't survive here in Mexico. Thank you so much broadening my horizons on Samhain. ❤
Sitting here in the early morning on the west coast of Canada. The most beautiful Taurus full moon is setting fresh off the eclipse and Jupiter has been beneath it all night!!! ❤ Thank you so much for sharing so many Samhain traditions that have slipped away. I am heartened to know how many I have now incorporated back into our lives here across the globe 🌎 ❤!!
Thank you for a wonderful video. Up in the north of Canada we can’t pick herbs anymore due to the cold but I dried lots over the summer which I can use during the winter months. Have a Happy and sacred Samhain 🖤💜🧡
Blessed Samhain Terri, Loll and family. Glad the trip to Berlin was safe and Happy. I celebrated in Costa Rica with a farm to table meal prepared by a very knowledgeable herbalist. Yes the bounty of the land and the gratitude for deep ancient souls who guide us daily seem the two pillars of the cross. I will use maple as Rowan is not here in Quebec. Thank you as always. The frost fairies have painted the garden. Time to start Module 4!
I LOVE Colcannon! I make it frequently (I'm in Pennsylvania). Will be having a Dumb Supper here and as my Mom passed away last year I will make a meal that she made often when I was a kid. Thank you and Blessings sent to you and all in your household.
Another cosy and interesting video, many thanks. I have heard of lots of love divination using apples but never the pips on the cheek. Noson Calan Gaeaf Hapus/ Happy Samhain from Wales x
Thanks for sharing more of the Samhain traditions with us. I have kale and collard greens ready to harvest, so can make the Colcannon with potatoes and turnips I already have. Love the cape you're wearing! It's lovely. Have a Blessed Samhain.
I’m celebrating my first Samhain with an alter for my grandpa since he passed away in September. Sometimes it’s good to take a moment to relax from everyday life and with videos like these. You have very heartwarming content I come to during Pagan holidays. Happy Samhain 🎃🕯️
Good morning!! So glad you had such a lovely visit with your daughter. My daughter was visiting in my home last weekend. Had not seen her for 4 years because of Covid. We had a freeze last night so not much left growing but I do have apple trees I can get a branch from. Thank you for passing on so much knowledge. Makes the special days mean so much more. Love the beauty of the day and flowers in your video too. Have an awesome day.
Thank you so much for sharing your lovely version of the Wise Woman Tradition. It is a delight to listen, learn and feel your true love for the plants and nature in general. The dogs were putting on the best spooky show! Bravo!!
I never knew about Saimhan. I grew up in the Church and was always taught that divination was bad and evil, bc it says so in the Bible, but I never knew what it actually was. You make it seem like a nice part of cultural celebrations. I didn’t even know where our modern fall traditions come from.
Thank you Terri and Lol for bringing the rituals of this celebration to your channel. I enjoy learning about the seasonal crafts and foods. I am planning to make your Samhain cake, (with cold tea', this week. It looked so hearty. I copied the recipe from your last year's video. Happy Samhain (Hallowe'en) to you and yours. Blessings from Canada.🍁
Thank you so much Terri and Lol, I look forward to your videos every week, and sometimes, as now, Terri, your wisdom, and Lol's beautiful photography and music make me cry. It's so beautiful, thank you 💚💚💚
This year I planted many of the herbs (wormwood, soapwort, beach wood, etc.) that you used in creations. I’m so glad your showing us this information because frost is coming and I need to use what’s left this week before it goes into hibernation. 😊
We didn’t do the American Halloween thing this year, we went full boar Celt, no candy, no decorations the lights were off. Instead I made the traditional foods, mashed potatoes, roasted turnips, kale with lots of garlic. I also baked a Maple pumpkin bread. My husband and I had a bonfire in the back yard in our fire cauldron that has moons and stars carved into it. We sat under the stars had lovely drinks and a very good time. We talked about family and friends that had passed. We have two amazing apple trees so there were apple treats as well, thank you for that in depth information, this video was my inspiration!
Thanks so much for this lovely video! I have been sorely missing my apple orchard and herb garden since I had to move, and this made me feel more connected, reminding me of the traditions I've let fall away. Hopefully, this will be a time for me to restart. Blessed Be. 🧚♀️
I love your videos. They’re always so informative and inspirational. I also love seeing your animals and garden. You bring calm into my life so Thank You ❤
🎑Happy Samhain! That is the Biggest Turnip I've Ever Seen! 🦉Thank You So Much for All Your Teachings! Your Shawl is Absolutely Beautiful! 🌹🌷🌺🌻🌸Blessings!🌿
Dear Terri, thank you for another great video full of interesting info. I will be celebrating Samhain tomorrow evening with a fire in the garden , time to remember loved ones passed and those I did not meet x Peace and blessings to you at this special time 🌼 x
Good morning to you both. Thank you for a very interesting video, The weave of the Parshal cross looks so strong bringing in good intentions. The mixture of herbs so many about. I prefer the old traditions of the Celts, it makes so much more sense than the plastic noisy products on sale in the stores. Hugs and Blessings to you both at this special time. 💚🌹
Always magical and precious hearing from you 💛 Thanks a lot for suggesting some powerful plants for this important approaching time of the year! Sending you and your beloved ones (and ancestors as well) my warmest best wishes 🎃 Take care, big hug from Italian alpine woods 🤗 Love and Light, Frances
I absolutely love curly kale. Every Halloween my Mam would make it with mashed potatoes and chopped onions mixed together. She'd hide some coins wrapped in tin foil for a treat. The best comfort food, especially this time of year. It's delicious served with rashers and fried eggs.
Dearest friend and lady thank you so much for your guidance. I have and still learn so much from you its a blessing that is endless giving with love as I return it to you with a full heart. Namaste and may your Samhain be blessed and joyful.
Hello dear Terri and Lol!!! and all the living creatures and spirits around your garden!!!I am so happy to see you!!! Happy transformative eclipse this weekend!!! Yes, to thank and remember our ancestors!!! Blessings and prayers and more blessings and more prayers!!!!!!!!! 😃🙏🌹
Great programme I always remember using turnips at Samhain as a child now it is all pumpkins. I love autumn but sadly no honey this year as we had a very wet July and august. I am having to feed them for the winter period
Thank you for this beautiful and instructive video. I have made a dream pillow with dried lavender and mugwort and will now make the parshall cross from the rowan. My heart makes a jump from all the harvest, the beetroots, carrots, Jerusalem artichoke, pumpkins and all kind of herbs for tea and tinctures. My kitchen of my farm is an exploded cosiness of meaningful life for which I give thanks every day. And thanks to you, I love your way of life and your stories and explanations. ❤
Apple pips on your cheek😂not heard that one! I want to try it for the fun but can't think of any other names apart from hubby😂. We had one you had to peel an orange in one, no break, then throw it over your shoulder, to reveal the initial of your love to be, it worked for me "S" 😂😉
Thank you again for a nice cozy Sunday video. I’m enjoying my coffee and breakfast cookie while watching. Best part of my week is starting off with your wisdom. Have a fun day Terri !
The cross is lovely, reminds me a little of a 'god's eye' design. If you have a chance would you advise me what to do about a tree that will be cut down this winter? It is a huge, old and sickly elm. I have stood with my hands touching her and told her thank you...please let ALL your energy return to the earth as you go dormate for the winter...as it's soon time for your form to be taken down, but your energy is welcome and appreciated to stay here. Am I missing anything important to add to this? I have repeated it several times. Thanks so much for any help and enjoy your family celebration!
I think what you have done and said is beautiful, so thoughtful. Perhaps make a little offering of flower petals or oat flakes to the tree spirit to show your gratitude for all the joy she has brought over the years. She will now bring forth new forms of life as she rots into the soil; or perhaps she will warm you during next year's winter
Thank you Terri for another great, informative, enjoyable, relaxing video. It’s so wonderful to hear about traditions in Ireland, so wonderful they are kept alive, thanks to people like you. Like the poncho.😉. Cheerful, happy colours.xx🥰
As always, this was beautiful and filled with ideas and new inspiration. I wish you and all your family a very Blessed Samhain. Thank you for the detailed instructions on making the cross too ! We have so much to be grateful for as we near the end of our harvest season and remember those who came before us. Much love to you, along with gratitude. 💜🕯🍎💜
Merry Samhain. This will be my first year where i can truly celebrate it and a have nice ritual myself so this is a special one for me. May you have a great rest of the year 🎉

That's amazing! We made a similar cross in Spanish class called the Eye of God. We used dowel rods and colorful yard.
We call the Eye of God a Druid's Eye - slightly different weave to the Parshell Cross xx
How interesting!!!! I love learning new things. Maybe you'll do or have done a video in that?

The cross is lovely, reminds me a little of a 'god's eye' design. If you have a chance would you advise me what to do about a tree that will be cut down this winter? It is a huge, old and sickly elm. I have stood with my hands touching her and told her thank you...please let ALL your energy return to the earth as you go dormate for the winter...as it's soon time for your form to be taken down, but your energy is welcome and appreciated to stay here. Am I missing anything important to add to this? I have repeated it several times. Thanks so much for any help and enjoy your family celebration!
