      Moving out is not a solution
      Th common sense is to stand for change.
      The Canadian mindset is a disaster joke.

    • @Murmilone
      @Murmilone 16 годин тому +2

      The EU is falling apart. Neverending political, economic and migrant crises. They lost access to Russian cheap resources. They are losing the Chinese markets. And in 2025 they'll get new tariffs from Trump. Everyone is leaving the EU.

    • @JimMork-r9u
      @JimMork-r9u 16 годин тому

      @@Murmilone It would be a mistake for the US government to slap tariffs all over the place. Those of us informed of economic history haven't forgotten that the Great Depression was propelled by stupid use of tariffs. That happened in a Republican government. My econ professor said tariffs were the WORST thing to do at the time. Two major policy mistakes was the Fed tightening the money supply and Congress foolishly passing in idiotic tariff law.

    Alina, I noticed the easiest path is to marry a Bulgarian citizen and relieve yourself of extraneous requirements for residence. This is only for permanent residence because the way I read it, you don’t get automatic Bulgarian citizenship:though you could apply for it later. In your case, you don’t know anyone there personally who could facilitate it and you don’t want to do that but its always something to consider in the event other avenues for obtaining permanent residence there are either too expensive or closed to foreigners. My point is settling down in a new county is far from easy! Best wishes on obtaining your immigration visa. 😊

    You did your part, now it's up to destiny. I was in your shoes. I initially moved to Albania (Vlore), then applied for Portugal (not the golden visa) and ended up in Spain. There are other immigration/residency ways that you'll find about only once you live in the country. I visited Bulgaria briefly and found some parts of it similar to Canada. Accept the outcome, good karma knows better

    I'm old enough to remember having to apply for a visa for just about anywhere I wanted to go with my Bulgarian passport.
    Seeing a Canadian have to jump through similar hoops now is a bit surreal.
    Good luck with your process!

    When I was living Bulgaria back in 1998 it was absolutely impossible to get any kind of visa for Canada.
    Who would of thought that 25 year later Canadians would be queuing for Bulgarian visa.
    Wishing you luck and welcome to Bulgaria.
    I still think that you should seriously consider Varna as a place to settle down.
    Good luck.

    Congrats Alina, nothing to regret in Canada. Bulgaria is nice place to stay and cheap to live. Take a flight for 30 Euro and flight to any part of Europe, or take a car to drive up north or south to Turkey at taste the best grill ever. So many nice places to see and cheap to stay. Enjoy Christmas and Christmas food around in Europe, pay 30-50 for airbnb and stay in Alps. So many options to enjoy life in Europe.

    My wife and I left Canada and now live in a little cottage on a hill over-looking a little village in Slovakia. I feel ashamed of leaving Canada, because I know it is purposefully being dismantled. But, I'm just not able to stand and fight any more...

      Dont blame you, Canada is dead and gone. I'm here til the collapse though! I have extensive weapons training and am a farmer so I should be ok for a few more years
