@@markmarko609 Putting her lift at risk, please. She's just like the rest of Hollywood, hypocritical and spineless. And it's particularly egregious for her considering she made that famous speech about no longer being quiet and speaking out after Trump. The girl on fire who calls out bombing of hospitals in films is silent on that actually happening in Gaza

I've been following this story and praying for the women/girls since the Taliban took back over. The women were living inspiring lives until the Taliban took back over. There is also a 60 Minutes episode showing young girls being smuggled out to still get an education. They are in hiding. Glad a light is being shined on this even more.

Malala was shot in the head at close range at age 15 in a school bus and needed multiple surgeries to help heal her face. It’s a miracle she is alive to tell her story and continue her activism to give women a voice. I know your comment meant no ill will but don’t call someone’s appearance weird when you have not taken the chance to learn their story…

@@kimberly6497Regressive laws in US are oppressive. See abortion bans and only growing Obstetrics deserts (ie Indiana lacks Obstetrics services in more than 40/92 counties and growing; even worse in ID and TX). Healthcare for all women is diminished. Also see TX and ID where women who are dying still don't qualify for lifesaving abortions. See their state supreme court decisions. Also see book bans in FL, TN and TX thinking about those that deal with women's and girls bodies specifically general anatomy and assault. Less than 3% of all assaults make it to court and successful conviction. Law enforcement often feeds into this as well but electeds who force girls/women to breed with laws as well. Now women face being tracked and loss of privacy when AG's pursue their medical records. Women are also now criminalized for being pregnant with person hood laws passed more states. Contraceptives are being banned (ie IN has banned funding for IUD's for poor women.

It’s definitely not comparable! Disrespectful to compare the two. However, 2 things can be true at once. 🤷‍♀️ Just because there is worst that exists doesn’t mean we don’t address both things. You making this point, shuts women up or discounts them. This is the opposite of the ultimate goal for all women no matter where on the spectrum of inequality they fall.
