I was under the impression that I needed to climb that corporate ladder my whole life.. then I became a mother. I juggle two toddlers and a full time job and stuck in the thought that I need to do this in order to provide and show a good example to my babies. But since becoming a mother, my thoughts on work has changed. My new goal is to retire as soon as possible and your comment about not being replaceable in the home really defines how I feel about what I do currently. Thanks for sharing this video!
I just wanted to tell you both how much I appreciate you. I watched your first video, also, and it is just SO refreshing to me to see a young couple standing for the truth of God's Word, and it just really did my heart good to listen to your opinions. Darrell is so kind and humble. I can just imagine him preaching or teaching a Bible class. He is very articulate and brings things out in a way that is not offensive but very Christlike. Just my opinion, but I think y'all should do more videos together. You are such a precious couple, and I pray you always have the courage to stand for Jesus and Biblical standards of living. May you never change! God bless you richly in this new year.
Your channel is a breath of fresh air! I’ve got teen and a young adult daughter but I love clean living so enjoy watching and love how family oriented and positive it is. I wanna take my girls to the Arc!
I love these videos and I’m proud of you and your husband sharing your beliefs and values! We are different religions but same Christian values and it’s so good to share this with the world! Thank you for sharing!!
So fun listening to you. My oldest daughter works at The Ark Encounter. She started as a dispatcher and now (in less than a year)is the supervisor for the dispatch department. (She was a 911 dispatcher for several years before that -which was stressful. This job is less stressful.)
I’m not a Mennonite but I have many many of the same beliefs that you do. So refreshing to hear someone as young as the two of you so grounded in your faith.
Your honesty is refreshing. You don't back down or change your opinion, just in case you offend someone or lose viewers. You are who God created you to be. 🙂
You both are so articulate and wise. I am not sure if I agree with every detail on every issue, but you both give me hope for the next generation. God bless you 🧡
I am a single mom, full time worker and raised my kids with my salary but very blessed God is in control and always has been. He has led me every step of the way raising my girls into adults on my own :) I have been blessed being able to work from home since 06’ before it was so common. HUGE blessing.
We need more mothers who stay home to raise their children. A strong & Godly father. And more families like these in the world today! Thanks for being wonderful witnesses on raising your children the right way!
You two are such a cute couple and have a nice family! My wife and I were raised Catholic, and I'm the Fallen Catholic. No matter, we have a 24 y.o. daughter, we've been married 38 years, and your story, in all of your UA-cam videos, resonates with me. In the words of an old friend of mine, "Keep up the Good Work!"
Great video about controversial subjects. For being a young couple you have a lot of really good ideas and concepts. I think a good scripture to bring out about spanking is "Spare the Rod and spoil a child". Your two sons are so blessed to have 2 loving and caring parents. Try to create more videos together, you guys complement each other well.
I agree. You are one of a kind. There is only one Kim Fox. Your children have a mother and its you. Theres value in that. I think Daryl and Kim both are excellent role models and Im happy for your children.
I totally agree with you on the pet discussion, but with one quick thought. Sometimes when people talk about the "furry" child or grandchild it may be because they are unable to have their own children and it's out of hurt. Just be careful. But generally I really agree with you all on that!
I use peppermint oil for my grown kids when they have toothaches. Works great. But I agree with you Kim about the essential oils. I am a Christian & I believe in all the things that y'all do. So I am with you 100%.
hey girl- loved the talk!!😀😉 great topics! It is always best to go to the bible about whatever we are dealing with. And questions we have. Proud of both of y'all with sticking to your values and what God allows and not allows🥰
You are such a lovely couple! I am Catholic yet I find myself mostly agreeing with you. Thank you for putting these thoughts out there (even the silly questions lol), I think it is very important in todays culture. God bless you!
The whole fur baby think is so silly. One of my husbands cousins asked us before we were married "are you going to get two dogs or two kids first?". Without missing a beat my husband said "12 kids". 😂
Setting routines and teaching skills is what parenting is all about. Babies need food, sleep and love and I fully celebrate setting routines and teaching skills about all of those to babies. Teaching routines and skills about sleeping is just as valuable as teaching babies how to eat or show and receive love.
I'm a feminist but I don't believe in the things that you mentioned. I think mothers are valuable. I think stay at home moms are valuable. I simply believe in woman having the right to choose and to have equal opportunities. If a woman chooses to be a stay at home mom, submit to her spouse, dress modestly etc I think that's wonderful because that's what she chose and that's what's brings her joy and a purpose.
You guys rock! I absolutely loved watching both parts. It's so refreshing to see a young married couple with great wisdom under their belt. Most times on UA-cam you see one spouse who really loves UA-cam and the other will go along with it, but feels uncomfortable. Well, you two both shine! You both are so funny, engaging and knowledgeable. We all can see how your upbringing, and religion have shaped you into 2 wonderful adults God bless. Hope to see another video like this in the future.
There were certain things I had an opinion on something and didn't know exactly how to explain my heart when someone would ask me about it, but I have received a lot of good points from this vidoe,.thanks for sharing your honest thoughts! 😊
I would love to be a homemaker and stay at home with my baby instead of stressing out and getting worn off at the job, but our family's financial situation doesn't allow it :( I believe many young families are in this situation, unfortunately.
You are absolutely right, and above all we have to put our families needs first! We know we are very blessed that kim does not have to have a job outside of the home and I hope someday you can have the same! Thanks for watching.
I was never afforded the opportunity to be at home either as an unmarried 42 year old. Marriage and children do not happen for everyone even if it’s desired. However, through my work I influence others’ children daily. What I do at work will have eternal consequences. Some women were chosen to be in my position. I can’t console myself through thinking I’m not irreplaceable. I am replaceable tomorrow at my job if I die today. But I’m just as precious to God as anyone else, replaceable or not. ❤
@@marthak9360 Thank you for you even just taking the time to reply this back to me and for your kind thoughts!!! Sending love and good thoughts back to you and your family!
@@Daryl_Martin I love your content, I hope Kim will be able to keep posting for us here! I believe I started watching you more frequently after Kim's labor and delivery story of your first son. I was pregnant at that time and watched and cried along the video while she was telling her story, and funny...my labor and delivery with my firstborn went almost exactly the same as hers just a couple of months after when my time came lol. Watching her video and listening to her sharing experience, made me ask for the epidural 16 hours after my water broke, and that was because I was at zero after so long...
Oh wow that’s so neat. I have heard of it. I didn’t realize it was a story in action. Maybe some day. Kim you are a domestic engineer. You work from home. Best job ever. When we got married I didn’t work outside the home so we would never be used to 2 incomes it’s been 38 years and still working great. I am however finished raising more own children. I help young mothers now. Thank you, Kim for making an exception for those of us who can’t have children. We personally chose adoption times 3. You’re honest Kim which is why I like to watch you. Now, I need to go watch #1 lol thank you Kim and Daryl.
You guys are spot on! :) I’m a young Mennonite mom of 4 kids and love having you guys talk about these topics! Part 1 was good too! Keep talking about these hard things, we are in the minority these days. (Ok I said the word these way too much) :)
I loved hearing your thoughts on these topics. We all have our beliefs. I am a Christian and I was raised in a loving home that believed in spanking. My husband and I have three children together. Our daughters are 32 and 28 years old. Our oldest was very high strung, always sick, and very defiant in general. If I believed in spanking, she would have been spanked at least once a month. Our middle child, also a girl, was so easy. You could reason with her all day long. Our last child was our only son who we had 11 years after our second daughter. He too has been pretty easy, other than his complex ADHD and school issues. Every child is different and some you can reason with early in life and others not at all. My husband has always worked two jobs, one as a FF/Medic/Engineer and one as a cardiac ER, RN. I have always done 90% of the child raising. I can't imagine leaving the discipline to him. Besides, I have far more patience. I love your videos!
When my grandsons were younger & my daughter sent me photos of them in the bath, she made sure that there were bubbles ~ blured out or a flannel over there privates. In case the photos went " astray." My daughter Has NEVER smacked her sons~ they got time out, now she takes there gadgets away. They are 7 & 10 years old now.
Also on the baby’s sleeping subject…all our 4 kids have slept through the night at a very young age…it’s amazing how happy and healthy they are by getting their sleep! We do have a few things that we start at a young age to help them but it happens very quick and with little help if done right. Also discipline, kids are SO much happier when there is structure and they are not in charge. Speaking from experience in babysitting a child when I was growing up. The child was a total different child when he was at our house because there was structure
You are so right. My babies were sleeping through the night by 6wks. Their Dr suggested I go ahead with having them sleep through the night as they had started to on their own and so she gave me pointers of way to make that happen consistently...and my mom helped me understand the feedings, a schedule, so their tummys were always full and ready for a good nights rest. It was actually so much simpler then I thought. They didn't go hungry at all. Slept up to 12hrs around 18-mo-2yrs old! They're both way over average in weight and height both... 84% and 95% tile.
No unless she attends a Mennonite church that allows them in the rules. I grew up Mennonite and if the church says you can’t and you do then you can’t be a member of the church anymore.
Yes! Cannot wait for this second part! Thank you for this video Kim - god bless you and your family! ☀️ Edited to add - I completely agree with what you said about sleep training. Some people don’t mind dropping everything around them and about them to sit with their baby all night/sleep in the same bed, but I personally need some quality sleep to function as a mother, and I also want some time and space just for myself and my husband. ☀️
Pausing again 😂 22:28 - I was abused as a child. Physically/emotionally/sa…. I have four kids here earthside and one in heaven. I have spammed my kids. Not many times- I can recall each and every time. I didn’t spank hard but my word. My heart was so broken!! It hurt me soooo much - I very much respect and admire how you approached this subject.
I was also abused in those ways... but read Shepherding A Child's Heart by Tedd Tripp, and it as helped me so much! My motive is so important when it come to disciplining. When my motive is pure and I do it because God is leading me to, what a huge difference from how i was raised!!
My parents also used corporal punishment ie spanking…done with “love and understanding” It didn’t happen very often. But…the humiliation of it stuck with me and I chose other means to discipline my two sons when I became a parent. As parents of two boys, they did try my patience…many times…but I got more creative and found ways to reason…even with a two year old. Also I just can not picture Jesus spanking a child…just can’t get that picture…something not right about that…so reasoning and lots of patience worked for me. They’re now 26 and 28!
Thank-you! God has worked on my heart. I wished I would have choose a different route than spanking but I’m now healing the wounds I have done. It’s lack of patience, and perfectionism that is often what spanking leads to. It teaches kids to suppress there feelings and not have a mind of there own. A child is so helpless. I have witnessed me being patient and asking and explaining to my two year old it’s amazing how quick they change there attitude when they feel respected. I was taught you have to teach your kids to respect you when in reality kids will respect you when they feel valued and safe.
Unfortunately not every household has the opportunity to be a SAHM. I live in a state where the cost of living is very expensive so me being a SAHM is not an option. I am a feminist and I believe as a society women have become and grown to be so much more than just mothers. Women can be wonderful moms, employees, spouses if they want it bad enough. I work full time but I am VERY active in my kids lives. I'm my daughters Girl Scout troop leader, I'm a board member on my kids PTA, I'm a room mom to both my kids. However I chose to my show my daughter that she doesn't need to just rely on a man to be provided for and that she can provide for herself if needed and I don't think there's anything wrong that.
Hi so I have a question, my husband and I were wanting to go visit a mennonite church close by and I am divorced but I wasn't of the mennonite faith, would I be aloud to join the church if I decided to continue going?
The comment about how the money spent to build the ark could have fed, clothed, and housed so many people is quite silly to me. Same goes for building a McDonalds or a “Gentlemen’s Club” or anything at all.
That’s so funny, my husband and I don’t wear wedding rings either, but we wear these $5 silicone bands just for the purpose of strangers knowing that we are married lol I never saw a reason to wear jewelry just for the tradition. The Bible also talks about how tradition can make the word of God to no effect to you also so I am weary to get too wrapped up in traditions….ya kno….checking the heart and making sure you are aware of why you’re participating in something and not mindlessly going with things just because it’s tradition.
Thanks guys! This was great. UA-cam doesn't suggest your videos to me when you put one out. I am a subscriber but I don't have notifications on. Not sure if you can even do anything about it but just wanted you to know just in case.
I cant believe someone has an issue with the building of the Ark. People can poke holes in anything. The Ark can be a form of ministry. There are plenty of other organizations that can feed/clothe the needy.
I'm curious why you wear a head covering all the time as opposed to just when you are praying or prophesying as in 1 Cor. 11. Could you elaborate on that? I grew up wearing one in settings where prayer and prophesy were happening, or if I'm praying, etc. But I also do feel like I pray all day in my head, not always out loud, so I'm beginning to feel convicted about maybe wearing one all the time. But I'm just interested to hear your conviction!
I'm not Mennonite, but we believe so much like you all:) on literally almost all points except the covering, and we are strict about drinking wine etc, but thats ok, God leads us along and its His smile we must seek after in our lives. He is so personal and clear with us. I love Him so much!! I wear my hair up and dess very much like you actually! We don't wear wedding bands/rings either. I figure my actions speak louder then the ring on my finger would:) I've seen rings on fingers but their actions were not married at all. I've learned that men know if a girl is taken or not. I use to worry like you some, but I realized the ring didn't make me "married", that is was my attitude and actions and the commitment I'd made... it just helped me to not worry anymore I guess. I've had to right out tell men that I am married before as well, lol :) I've lived by many different kinds of Mennonites half my growing up and loved it! Such good people, many of them! My dad is a preacher :) and thats how I met my husband when he was 8yrs old (I was13yrs old), at his dads church 1.5hrs away that we had went to visit... 15yrs later my husband and I realized we liked each other😉 fell in love in a completely different state from where we even met lol... total shock to us both lol, but here we are almost 7yrs in with two little girls. God knows what He's doing! ♡♡ anyway, we believe like the old Methodist/Wesleyans!! Appreciate you guys! ♡♡
People who do construction, and especially electricians should NOT wear jewelry, especially rings. If you see a man missing his ring finger, he probablly caught it on a ladder rung or in an electrical panel. You are indeed examples for your children, and they are more likely to drink if their parents drank. Children thrive with good discipline in the home, and when a child makes a mistake and he expects to be disciplined, then a parent fails their child when they fail to discipline him. Saying this, spanking may work with some children but not all children, and there should always be a cool off period before any spanking might take place. Its very important that your child knows its done with love.
I having moved to place where it’s a warm climate and growing up Mennonite having it ingrained in to look at peoples bodies. If we teach our children to look at peoples faces and listen to those peoples heart. What people wear on there body won’t be an issue. If we look at peoples faces what’s below the neck don’t matter. I came to this with praying God give me your eyes. It’s very hard to train yourself. My kids have been around and they don’t look they are more focused on the sand and the water. Being brought up that you avoid people or places. Jesus didn’t avoid people that weren’t like him so why should we?
1 Corinthians 6:19-20. I know this is what some consider a "far-fetched" interpretation. However, we feel that any permanent alterations to our body for the sake of adornment, is undermining God's perfect design of our natural body. Again, this is not necessarily a sin, just how we choose to live out our Christianity. Thanks for watching!
LOL Kim. When I got spanked when I was younger, I used to run up to my bedroom and put on extra pairs of underwear as cushion. I thought I was so smart🤣
The Bible states that animals and all creatures of the earth are simply beings. They don’t have souls. Only us humans have souls and can make the conscious decision to give our life to the Lord, accept Jesus as our Savior and have eternal life in Heaven! I hope this helps🥰❤️
I came from an abusive situation and then move into a non discipline environment. I was emotionally, sexually, and physically abused from age 6-13 and then basically raised myself from 13 on. I would rather have been beat. As a 40 year old adult I wish I had grown up being taught and corrected instead of having to learn in my 20's and 30's. My kids had to pay for my lack of discipline. I watched my siblings have a much better life in the bad home than when they were given freedom. I also have lived long enough to watch the kids who grew up in living homes that had zero discipline and those kids are also in bad situations. Those kids are what led me to spank my kids and discipline them.. I can say I spanked from the beginning. But my the time they were 10 they didn't need it anymore. They knew right and wrong and they knew there would be consequences. I just watched my oldest daughter walk down the isle. I thoroughly enjoyed the teenage years. My oldest daughter would come to me and say mom I don't want to be in this situation because it's not good.
I have not had to spank my child alot. Has he got them yes he sure has. But usually I can just set my child down and talk to him and get through to him more than I could if I gave him a spanking. But we are big on respect. And treat people how God wants us to.
There are women who don't want kids for certain reasons like trauma and I have a friend who doesn't want kids because she doesn't feel like that is where God wants her. There are women who can't have children at all due to infertility. When it comes to children, so many people don't want kids because they feel like they won't be a good parent. My mom was a single mom raising 3 kids by herself and she struggled and she says she never saw herself as a mom when she was a kid herself.
I believe that is a very valid point. Some people that know that is not for them should not have children. Some people do not have the patience and it could lead to bad phycological issues for the children. Also in this day we are living in it is much more difficult to raise children. It is definitely a personal choice. I had 4 children and I loved being a mother however it is not for everyone and if I was having kids now it would only be 1-2.
I cannot speak about women with trauma, psychological problems or women who can't have children due to infertility obviously, but as far as women who don't think they would be a good parent, that might be 80% or more that think that way before they have children! You really cannot know what it's like until you have them! There is nothing more confronting then have children, you learn things (about yourself) you would never learn in school or work! As far as bad character issues, God will learn you what you need through your children! It's amazing what He does when you give it and your all to Him! Children are His blessing and He will help you raise them!🙏
I think you're missing the point of feminism... the movement is about equal opportunity for women. The right to chose your own path, like being a stay at home parent, or choosing to work instead. It's all up to the women, not everyone wants to be a stay at home mum, just as not everyone wants to work once having children. Work isn't just sitting in a cubicle... many women own and run their own businesses, or chose work fields outside of an office. It's all about equal opportunity and individual choices on how you want to live your life. Mothers and women in general are vulnerable regardless of whether they stay at home or choose to work. Also not everyone is blessed with the opportunity to actually stay at home. In this cost of living crisis, many NEED to work to feed, cloth, and house their families.
It's wild to hear people state religion as fact. I guess I believe in a "heaven" for people, and nothing for pets, but I have no conviction because I just don't know. I don't give it much thought since it has never been proven, so to hear y'all say people have everlasting value and pets have none - it really made me pause. It's so interesting the things people choose to believe in, faithfully, without question. I'm not a strongly convicted person, naturally. I am ok with not knowing what I don't know, and y'all are polar opposite. Just my 2 cents. I enjoy listening to you, I think BECAUSE you're so different.
The Gods Not Dead author does speaking throughout the world and goes over why science very clearly supports a higher bein, then goes into why historical facts support Jesus specifically. The case for Christ book also goes in to facts to support God. Its amazing how science backs up God in so many different ways
@@mollyl8704 it's refutable "evidence" at best, and doesn't persuade my initial thoughts. I'm not trying to change your opinion, though. I would never push my personal beliefs on anyone else. I also wouldnt judge people as selfish who have decided, for whatever reason, to not have kids. It doesn't make much sense to me when religious people condemn others for their beliefs, when God has created us all and we are only to be judged by Him. The more I watched this video, the less wholesome this couple became, and the more my view on religious people was soured. Very ungodly way of viewing people.
@@Lee_lee_27_7_27 then thats your belief but if your not a follower you can't say they are being "ungodly". Unfortunately there are many who have selfish beliefs when choosing not to have children, their statement is broad but does have ground. As far as the evidence not being there, it is there. Science 100% supports a higher bein, weather that is God is where interpretation and faith happens. Faith also happens when choosing to believe in nothing.
Before the feminist movement a young widowed women was looked upon as a burden. She was forced to move in with extended family and they had to finically support her. What does a widowed mother of 6 do in the Mennonite culture? Is she forced to sell her assets and move in with family or is she living off church tithes or is she forced to marry a man who she doesnt love just for the support? I don’t see how a mother of 6 is really given any options if she should “stay home 24/7”. I am SO thankful all my daughters have the option to be a Nurse, work two days a week and provide for their children if their spouse died. What a terrible shame for a women who is grieving to be forced to sell assets, move back with parents or forced into a marriage. I have always been a homeschooling SAHM and pray my children can too but I am also aware that we live in a fallen world and all my daughters may not be given the same opportunities I have.
What does a widowed mother do in the Mennonite culture? Here's one example. My aunt who is a conservative Mennonite lost her husband when she had six children under age 12 and was pregnant with the 7th. She continued living in their home and raised the children as a SAHM. Her husband was a produce farmer and she continued his occupation. Also her married brother moved in next door to help with the farm work. And she had her in-laws next door and they were involved in the children's lives. The children turned out wonderfully. My aunt has never remarried. Most widows I can think of continued to be a stay at home mom and live in the home they had with their husband and never went out and got a job. The family or the church will help provide her needs. I cannot think of anyone who was forced to sell their assets and move back in with their parents. Perhaps some have sold their farms and moved to another property but they would never be forced into a marriage they didn't want.
How does she feed the children and pay for basic utilities? My husband is a software engineer, which I can obviously not do for him if he dies. Our family PA is a Mennonite man, clearly his stay at home wife can not take over his job! So, who pays this womens property taxes ($200 a month) electric bill ($150 a month), car insurance required by law ($50), basic minimal food ($600) a month… It sounds to me she is forced to live off church&community tithes for a decade or two 🤷🏼♀️ Does she have ask for approval before buying her child a birthday present? Not every widow in the Mennonite Community has a farm or rental properties to fall back on.
@@momoflittleladies She makes her own decisions for her family and she has control over her finances as she wishes. In her case she earns money at home and pays her own bills. But she has family and friends and a church who care about her and would be happy to help her if she had a specific need.
On the Ark comments: "Man does not live by bread alone" "The poor will always be with us . . . " On being an influencer, one could kook to scripture that we all are to be salt and light. Isn't that being influential?
Divorce only means a separation of bed. Remarriage is not permitted anywhere in the bible for any reason. The church never wants to admit this or talk about it even though the church taught 'no remarriage' for 1500 years.
Why would you need a certificate to just sleep in a different bed? If you look into the verses on divorce and replace the word with "separation of bed" it doesn't work, at all.
That’s certainly what you believe God permits in regards to divorce & remarriage. My first husband was a batterer that tried to literally poison me. I prayed to survive the escape attempt, and I did survive. I prayed one day to find a man who was accountable & capable of love, and I found him. I am happily remarried and have a first child on the way after much prayer. But seeing as you are the expert on God’s word, what do you advise I do?
There comes a time when you have to start making it hurt, at least it did with my strong willed one. My other one just needed to “know it was coming” and his attitude would change. But they are so important and a very good tool when necessary.
Spanking should never be done!!! There is literally no discussion to be had about this topic. There is no right and loving way to do spanking. Honestly this freaked me out.
Very controversial topics for sure! Concerning alcohol-Jesus drank wine at the last supper. In Gal. 5:19-21 it very clearly states ‘drunkeness’ not drinking socially. You have to know your audience that your drinking with. If meat offends my brother, eat no meat. As far as head coverings etc…Paul also said he said was better not to marry. But we all marry & RIGHTFULLY SO! God ordained it!, So we can follow one rule & be dogmatic about it-but is it really a salvation issued? No! Jesus came to set us FREE from the law.,..all the do’s & don’t sanctify a persons soul.

I just watched your Q and A before you guys had babies. Itnis so neat to see how much you guys have grone as a couple. You 2 are the sweetest ❤
Love hearing your opinions on all these subjects from both these videos. Thanks for taking the time to share.
I look up to you guys so much, please keep doing what you’re doing. You’re such an example of how I want to live in life 💕
We need more mothers who stay home to raise their children. A strong & Godly father. And more families like these in the world today! Thanks for being wonderful witnesses on raising your children the right way!
why? why do 'we need more mothers who stay home and raise their children?'
You guys are wise beyond your years! Enjoyed you both! Hugs from Missouri 🤗 ❤️
I agree. You are one of a kind. There is only one Kim Fox. Your children have a mother and its you. Theres value in that. I think Daryl and Kim both are excellent role models and Im happy for your children.
I think you combined her first name with Megan Fox, if you know what I mean?!!!!
Great video!! Agreed on all since they are spiritual based. Thank you both!!!
Loved this video, Kim! Enjoyed your husband being a part as well
I totally agree with you on the pet discussion, but with one quick thought.
YES! Great job once again! Loved it all.
I love this topic. Totally agree with you on everything you have talk about, we are Mennonite Christian too here in Mexico
Ich mag,wie respektvoll ihr miteinander umgeht
Love, love, love your channel!! Great video,as always🥰✅✅✅
Thank you for sharing, I love your videos!
I am praying for you that God will provide an opportunity for you to stay home with your children! God bless you ☀️
You are absolutely right, and above all we have to put our families needs first!
Great Job!! Sounds like you have the same beliefs as we do.
I have enjoyed the last two videos immensely!!! I think I agreed with pretty much all of your opinions😁
I love your videos!
sorry to hear that you were abused as a child. that sucks.
When my grandsons were younger & my daughter sent me photos of them in the bath, she made sure that there were bubbles ~ blured out or a flannel over there privates. In case the photos went " astray."
My daughter Has NEVER smacked her sons~ they got time out, now she takes there gadgets away.
That’s why I choose co-sleep. I get my sleep and they learn to sleep when I’m sleeping. Sleep training and co sleeping I think gets so put down.
I just love y’all!
Amazon sells silicone rings lol that aren’t flashy😂😂. Could that be an option?
No unless she attends a Mennonite church that allows them in the rules. I grew up Mennonite and if the church says you can’t and you do then you can’t be a member of the church anymore.
@@elle_nolt interesting
I don’t agree with everything here but I love hearing your opinions and different POV’s. Already waiting on the next video, whatever that may be 👀😂
Ecclesiastes 3:18-21
“… and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.”
I wish I could stay home but now have to work bc of inflation and a hubby that had to take a earlier retirement bc of a injury
Yes! Cannot wait for this second part! Thank you for this video Kim - god bless you and your family! ☀️
Edited to add - I completely agree with what you said about sleep training. Some people don’t mind dropping everything around them and about them to sit with their baby all night/sleep in the same bed, but I personally need some quality sleep to function as a mother, and I also want some time and space just for myself and my husband. ☀️
Loved this video!!!!!
Great video!!!
I felt like y’all were talking about my house with all the diffusers!🤣 enjoyed the video!

I would love to learn more about how you did sleep learning/training? :) and I agree on like all your points!
I used the Ferber method. It's probably not in style anymore as my kids are 23 and 26.
@@marleneflanagan7137 thanks! I'll look into it :)
I can’t believe many of the stuff you said, but I understand it’s your opinion and based, as it happens to all of us, on your experiences.
Hi Kim good morning happy Wednesday morning and I hope you having amazing day today and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter
Such a good point... I strive to be what He wants... it's His smile in my life that leads me, much much more then what man might think.
Thanks guys! This was great. UA-cam doesn't suggest your videos to me when you put one out. I am a subscriber but I don't have notifications on. Not sure if you can even do anything about it but just wanted you to know just in case.
I just found your channel! So first video I watched and I love it you are absolutely beautiful kim😊
Loved these last 2 videos! ❤
I would encourage you to look into there is a study that spanking and sexual abuse does the same thing in the brain.
I've had to right out tell men that I am married before as well, lol :)
I've lived by many different kinds of Mennonites half my growing up and loved it! ♡♡
I don’t drink but I do love to cook with wine.
Orthodox Jewish guy here. Liked. Subbed. Nuff said.
This is my favorite comment. 😂
Guide me to the tattoo scripture..i've been looking for clarification. :)
“ ‘Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:28. NIV
Also it can be seen as harm, seem there is risk and our bodys are supposed to be a temple
LOL Kim. When I got spanked when I was younger, I used to run up to my bedroom and put on extra pairs of underwear as cushion. I thought I was so smart🤣
Pausing at 18:25…. Why don’t our pets go to heaven? Being serious right now-and this video was awesome! Seriously made me think!!❤
The Bible states that animals and all creatures of the earth are simply beings. They don’t have souls. Only us humans have souls and can make the conscious decision to give our life to the Lord, accept Jesus as our Savior and have eternal life in Heaven! I hope this helps🥰❤️
nice
Thanks for your insight!! We don't have the years of experience, so it's great to hear from some that do! Thanks for watching!
Enjoy your talk.
Well said! In a fallen world things don’t always work out just as we’d like.
Love your spanking story. 🤣 I have an almost identical one where I tried to put on like 6 pairs of underwear, lol
Bare bottom spanking for me....
On the Ark comments: "Man does not live by bread alone"
"The poor will always be with us . . . "
On being an influencer, one could kook to scripture that we all are to be salt and light.
Well, remarriage is allowed in the case of a widow or widower remarrying since death breaks the covenant of marriage.
After more than 30 years of marriage, I've found that men are waaaaayyyy more irrational.
Enjoy the opportunity to stay home with your babies they grow up so so fast mine are 7 9 11 14 and 17
Nice to see your husband on it.
No! Jesus came to set us FREE from the law.,..all the do’s & don’t sanctify a persons soul.
hello I want to marry a Mennonite
