I just love when he’s like “ I am Gordon Ramsey” like it’s some superhero reveal in a movie, gives me a good chuckle.
Bravo to the managers and staff for their swift identification of Thomas as a problem and the care they took to try to mitigate his mistakes without just firing him. Mistakes happen (although these were extreme) and the learning curve in any new job can be arduous. It’s how we grow. Restaurants I’ve worked in might well have isolated Thomas from the VIPs a bit, but the outcome would have been vastly different. This is primarily because heads roll at several levels, sometimes, and lack of leadership skills and inadequate experience leave most middle managers without the tools they need to develop staff. Instead, they fire away. Because it’s easier to hire until you’ve got an adequate employee with unlimited potential for mediocrity than to develop the hidden potential of a great employee.
I’m surprised they didn’t just tell him to stop working so they can explain all his mistakes to him, but they just let him keep serving people and messing up lol
I’ve visited Ramsay in Vegas many times. They pretty much hire straight out of college with minimal experience. They are almost all Nevada locals

@@markekar6021 Yeah, for a trainee to land a job at a place like that they'd have to have so much experience, at least 3 references, or be super attractive being hired by some hornball GM or AGM directly. Plus there's Tailing for a few days to a week. I find it hard to believe management and Christina didn't know that's Ramsay. People in fine dining get fired for much less all the time.
