It is usually just a new barrel nut and handguard swap. Measure the original and find any one of the hundreds of aftermarket designs. Personally, I like the shorter handguards, showing off more barrel length.
Love the Bear Den! Hope winter winds down soon for y'all up North! Was 70 here in NC yesterday. I'm ready for some warm temps. Birds are back and singing... I suspect the bulk of any super cold temps are behind us. That fluted barrel on the 6.5 Grendel looks gorgeous. Unique look on those slick side uppers too. BCA is just down the road from me here in NC... thanks for supporting a local NC company! Hope you're enjoying your weekend brother!
Thanks Chris Canadian Geese are coming back, robins are searching for worms, and the grass is looking greener. It won't be long now, as I can see my house in the daylight after work.
Sooner or later, the bolt has to come out to remove the charge handle. Once the charge handle is off, the bolt carrier assembly can be removed from the upper for maintenance or inspection. A minor pain, but not a deal breaker.
Well, it seems the tubes of you's is holding my reply for review, as their Intelligence is artificially baffled by how words are arranged. The POF Revolution is the most I've spent on a tool, in 308. The gas piston has been accurate and a clean operator. The assembled one is my uncle's, in 6.5 Grendel, and I don't know the price for that build, as a cousin tinkered with it. The 8.6 Blackout is by far the most costly to operate, as all of the first rounds needed to be made from other components.
Good thing I only load 10 to 20 at a time... Ok, once, at a college party, someone passed a 30round smoker to me ... But I pretended to take a hit, but didn't inhale @RenoMay 🤔😅
I have a couple of the older style 243 Bear Creek Arsenal uppers. I sure would like to put that new hand guard on it.

I was thinking about trying to work in a "Goldilocks" angle, maybe during the field testing.🤔
Didn’t know you had to remove a bolt on the side charger.

nice looking family.......

What calibers are the more expensive AR's on the wall? Good hibernating Bear pets though.

Allegedly they all fail after 60-70 rounds. 😂
