I have to defend Chops. At first I had the gall to dislike him because of how he looks, but as time went on and we had a few romantic dinners in his fine baroque estate, I became enlightened. And by this I mean he gave me his 800,000 bell Throne. Not everyone can see the twinkle in his eye, but after allowing sweet Chops into my heart and eventually my home, I started to realize what he really was. My sugar daddy. Chops forever.

I don't find any of the villagers "ugly" I hate on villagers when they make me mad, for example, in NL Chops moved his house onto my garden of golden roses I had been working on for about 3 months and then he didn't move out for another 6 months...so now I absolutely despise him.

@@katiemae6807 So my sister has Rodney move into her island at random, she didn't like him, she says he looks like a stoner, and she shares her island with her 5 year old daughter, and even SHE didn't like Rodney. They had him on the island for 2 months, they were trying to be nice about getting him to leave but they couldn't take it anymore. They started hitting him with a net and time traveling to get him to leave, once Rodney left they replaced him with Diana, who they were lucky to find on a Nook Mile Island.
BUT, Before Rodney left I started playing the game, I had it for about 2 weeks, possibly less so I wasn't aware of the void thing, so I went to villager hunt for Marina the Octopus, and I didn't find her. When I stopped hunting Rodney moved into my empty space. I knew from day 1 that my net was waiting for him, the first few days he was on my island I was nice to him so I can give him an outfit or 2 so I wouldn't have to see him wear that stupid pink shirt, but once that was over with, I made it a daily occurrence to hit him with my net. I wasn't gonna fence him inside of his house, but he was really starting to bug me when he started singing all the time, despite how many time I would hit him to hope he gets the message to NOT do that, so I started trapping him in his house. And the worst thing is, I gave him trash to hopefully send the message that I hate him, AND HE LIKED IT! And when I pushed him to trap him in his house, he said he was into it, ew! What a creep!
Eventually someone had Marina on their island and was going to let her move out so they could get a cat island, so I time traveled to get Rodney out, and I was able to replace him with Marina, and she lives next to Marshal... which honestly the fact that my 2 most popular villagers live next to each other feels like fate.
I actually thought this was 75 years ago! 😂

Pietro always has THE wildest house. The inside of his house is absolute insanity. It's like if mental instability were interior decor.
Gaston is the best! He was the first villager in my town that talked to me in wild world and he paid me and gave me free stuff for giving him fossils. I haven’t found him yet in ACNH but when I do, I’m moving him into an area near my museum as a nudge to the fact that cranky villagers used to be obsessed with fossils in wild world.

I had Jambette on my island for a long while, she was the second villager to give me their photo and before she moved, I made her a vacation home so she's not actually gone!

I wouldn't say she's hated, but for a while Opal was getting into a lot of arguments with other villagers on my island for some reason. Then later on she wanted to move, but I wasn't ready for anyone to leave just yet. Guess the game was trying to "justify" her leaving, but once I said "no" there haven't been any incidents since.

I used to hate Marcel when he first came to my island, I thought his beauty was "unconventional" to say the least, now I think he's adorable and I am worried a day will come when I have to decide whether to swap him out for a favored villager or not. He's just a cute pupper to me at the moment.

I could never bully a villager because they were ugly I would feel TERRIBLE, I mean I have two villagers on my island (Derwin and Quillson) and I'd say most people would call them ugly, but they're both really sweet, and I'd feel bad if I were to kick them out.

That's why i was sad that jambette had to leave, i liked her, but some bertha came to my town and suddenly i had 3 normal villagers, she was the first to leave, :c she was lucky to land on the island of a friend of mine who is a jambette stand himself.

The villager I hated the most so far was Benedict, he just moved in randomly and even though I broke my own rule about time traveling to try to kick him out, he refused to go. At the end I had to get an amiibo just for the sole purpose of kicking him out 🤦♀️

I got Alli randomly and now she never wants to move. And she's also a snooty, which I have a problem with now. She's mean to my other villagers and so stuck up like she's better than everyone else. When she moves I'm never having a snooty on my island.

The third story reminds me of me and Plucky.
My starter villagers where Hamlet and Plucky, I thought Hamlet was cute, but I didn't like plucky that much, so I just never talked to her. But after a few days of playing (like, maybe 3-4 days after first moving to the island. Not that long) I decided that I should talk to all the villagers (even though at the time "all" was only two) and I felt so sad when she said "we haven't had much face time, or really talked at all" (something like that, I can't remember exactly) so I made a commitment to talk to them equally. She was the first villager I reached "best-friends" status with, and also ended up being the first villager to give me their photo. She also was the one who threw my birthday party. She's moved away now, and whenever I see her in a video, I miss her a little bit.
Essentially, though you may not like a villager at first, give them some time and they can grow in you!

Jambette got sick the first thing she did after moving to my island, so naturally I forced her into quarantine with military grade fencing and haven’t talked to her since
Tiffany got sick the day after she moved in. I didn't like her so I ignored her getting sick. She move out the same week haha

I don't have a strong hatred for any villagers, but a person close to me hates Penelope as she replaced Bubbles in New Leaf, and this all reminded me about how Patricia, one of the authors for Polygon, hated Gwen and Sprinkles as they were both penguins and lived in her town at the same time

Chops is my favoriteeee! He really few on me. I actually didn’t like his design so much at first, but he quickly became homies with Teddy, who gave him this striped sweater, and now Chops looks so adorable! 💖

Oh, my least favorite villager is Diva. In New Leaf, she moved right onto my flower garden, gifted me a trash can saying that it would go with my look, and constantly got into fights with other villagers.
I am also looking forward to Diva to leave =))
She was one of my starter villager, she is the first one to go when I get a chance

I have Diva, she is one of the most hated villager. But I dont hate her, I love her. People hate her just because of her appearence and her name. I know she is not the cutest villager but she is like a sister to me.

Hazel is my baby ! I hated her in the other games but I began to love her because I was talking to her in New Horizons and she said something like « how is the landscape in your head ? » I responded that it was dark because I was feeling down and she said « are you okay » and said that it's gonna be alright. that's when I began to love her and till this. moment, she became my favourite and comfort villager. ^^

I am new at Animal Crossing, with New Horizons. I didn't know what to expect! I just accepted whatever villagers came my way. In fact, I still have a lot of my originals.

He had treated Dierdre (one of the first two!) really poorly, and I could not accept that behavior on my island. I learned how to lower the friendship score enough to make him leave, and leave he did.😌

Aww I love Raymond. He’s so cool. Makes me happy every time he says we’re such good friends. As soon as I saw him at my campsite I knew I had to have him as a villager. His house is kinda boring, like an office, but he’s got a rock guitar now so immediately increased my interest in his home decor

I JUST managed to get rid of Chops. He's packing up today and leaving tomorrow, and I have so much joy that he's gone. This was two days after he told me I blow hot and cold.
My Daughter ended up with Boyd in new horizons - and complained because he walks around with his butt out.
So when i play - i kept giving him toilets as gifts - as well as toilet brushes etc..
So now his house has 3x different toilets in it

@@INZANE1919 He must've kidnapped all of the other villagers, either killed them, or sent them on a boat off the island, and replaced them with the worst villagers in the game. Ones likes Al and Limburg, and Rodney became the local weed dealer of the island, and by weed, I mean 420 blaze it.
Gaston ruined my life tho-
You know when you get a lot of empty plots at once? Well I was on a nook tickets adventure and I somehow got Marina (yay) but then I also got Gaston, who replaced my little penguin Gwen. I didn’t realise that once you had one villager from a mystery tour, you couldn’t get another, so I got rid of Gwen for nothing. Also all of my villagers started saying ‘we hate Gaston’ which TOTALLY was influenced by me.
