hellooooo i hope everyone's having a great day and super hyped for a villager hunt!!! even if it was. shorter. than expected lmao-
this video ended up being a mini villager hunt AND a mini let's play all in one, which tbh is just how animal crossing goes lol. hope you enjoy!!

Henry is my mum's favourite villager. She first saw him in New Leaf and is obsessed with him so when i got my switch I had to get his amiibo to put him on my island so that when she played he'd be there 😂 I am now trying my best to keep him there 😂

I wish I could be that lucky, I had a bad villager hunt and decided to let it autofill and ended up with Mac. Let that be my lesson to not think too hard about taking a villager I like.
And yes the butterflies are that fast lol. When you donate them to the meuseum and let Blathers tell you some facts about them he says he's surprised you cought it for being so fast.

I haven’t picked up Animal Crossing in over a year. I have all the villagers I want but terraforming takes so long and everyone else’s island looks so good. My village looks the same as day 1 😢
Omg I feel that- my first island I felt low key intimidated by all the amazing islands I saw online, and didn’t know where to start with terraforming 😅 but honestly if you wanna get back into playing I’d say do it!! Play around with small areas of terraforming and see what you personally like doing, or if you don’t want to at all that’s totally okay too!! There are soooo many cool looking islands with zero terraforming:))
Hey so, maybe this won’t help but for me personally, I only started decorating and stuff when I took a massive step back from seeing everyone else’s islands and designs, and just focusing on seeing what I wanted to pull off. I found that looking at other islands and builds made me feel super demotivated from decorating. If I wanted to do something, I would figure it out myself, and it felt SO rewarding. If you ever need a place to start, you can think about what vibe you want for your island, or whatever you feel like decorating, helps me ^^
Don’t feel pressured to use all these custom designs or terraform though. Tbh I kinda regret terra forming because I literally stripped my island of cliffs, rivers and trees and my island has been sitting BARE for about a year and only now have I gotten like… 20% of my island done lol. I hope you feel motivated to pick up the game again sometime tho, it’s real fun once you get in the groove.

This was literally my experience! I finally got rid of Gwen, so I did some villager hunting. I got freaking *Merengue* on my third ticket! She's moving in today! We both got blessed with good luck! Hope you enjoy your new friend! 🥰

I have a switch and I use an elgato hd 60 s+ capture card to record!! :)
Btw switch lites don’t have an hdmi port, so you can’t connect it to a tv/monitor/capture card, just so you know!!

@@alexblue6991 what’s awesome about this game is you can make your island however you want!! there’s lots of islands that explore tons of different themes- big cities, small towns, farms, tropical resorts, even stuff like post apocalyptic terrain!! you don’t even have to use a theme, those just came to mind. you can customize it to fit your personal taste :)

I got a whole bunch of tickets using nookazon!! But if you wanna get some in the regular way, head over to the nook stop in resident services :) each nook miles ticket costs 2,000 nook miles!
