- I had looked at this stealth camping spot for about a month. It was perfect, out of sight and I did one thing wrong!
the night was going great I had to relocate and continue on with a stealth car camping in my Subaru Outback.

Sardines & mustard sauce, some cream cheese, jar garlic, paprika, a little lemon juice, mix it real good. Great with kettle cooked salt & vinegar potato chips.. It's great, try it.
That definitely sounds like a good mixture that's one thing that I thought if I had sour cream or even cream cheese and a little extra mustard maybe a little bit of pickle relish it would have been a much improved dip dip
Hey Tony, a carnivore tip for you👍 In Walmarts, if you go to the sardine, fish and canned meat section, and turn around, look at that isle. There normally is a section of cheaper sardines and the brand is SEASON. Their sardines are organic wild caught, packed in 3 varieties... in water, in safflower oil and in olive oil. I have tried all 3. My favorite is the most cost effective with the safflower oil at 98¢ a can! A real deal and super delish🤙
Yeah I just looked at that the other day And I would probably lean towards the one packed in water Just because I try to stay away from all seed oils as well thank you so much for the great tip

Sorry you got caught. I’m a truck driver who often delivers to Walmart DC’s. Walmart has many cameras, many hidden. Be glad they didn’t call the police. Walmart does not play around.

He's right. They have cameras everywhere. Lights have cameras. Trucks have cameras. Especially walmart trucks. Plus storage containers at walmart are used daily several times per day. You are not very stealth. Sorry. You need to not talk so much and your tarp could be seen by cameras. Your tripod could be seen and you kept walking into view of cameras.Any walmart employee can tell you the many ways that you got busted.

I used to work at Walmart. Those containers are in use daily. They are often opened up and used. Employees some days open all of them. Even tho they look harmless and unused often employees will open them. They are literally extra storage

If you would have approached from the woods, down that hill, you wouldn't have gotten busted.
That is true unfortunately two years ago I had a stroke and I don't do Hills very good at all I would have definitely rolled down the hill and that wouldn't have been good LOL

The cameras can move even though they look like the old stationary units and even the stationary ones have a very wide angle. They can see you everywhere.

LOL my buddy yeah I don't know if they could have zoomed in on me or not but the camera looked fixed and just pointing at those trailers there was no other cameras on that side of the building I believe when someone came out of the door next to the trailers for a smoke break or something they saw my tripod I got a little too comfortable

That is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen anyone eat on a camping channel. That's real surf and turf! 😂👍
Some of my earlier videos I used to always put it in a ziplock bag with peas and ramen noodles and nuts all kinds of weird stuff LOL
We got caught by Rangers, so we would just move to the other side. 2 or 3 weeks later, they got us again and asked, aren't you the guys we talked to a couple weeks ago? I said no, it was those other guys. 🤣 straight Bevis and Butthead moment. He let us go lol.

Pretty sad how Walmart is okay with meth heads panhandling out front of the store but a random guy sleeping back behind the connex minding his own business and not hurting anyone is frowned upon. I mean i kinda get it in the end, they simply didn't know what you were doing, for all they know you could've been trying to break into the connex but still the cameras would've been able to prove you weren't tampering with their property.
They dont need to know. It aint their business. Not unless they want to explain their marital practices in the bedroom. World turning communist???

I like to hit the free camping parks in Texas. They have parks you can camp in for 14 days at a time. You can stay in those as long as you move every 14 days.

If security cameras are atop a big expensive pole, there's a good chance they also paid for them to have pan, tilt and zoom capability. Likely recording and setup to detect motion as well. The question.... is someone monitoring them?
I always loved the outdoors as a kid and found it very interesting to learn the way of the land and respect it thanks for the tips Tony thinking bout picking up a pack and a nice tent just to backpack and stealth camp if all means necessary I’m a photographer so I have the eye already I’m sure I can find a sweet spot where no cameras are there so many places in California

Yes those are the two that I make note of whenever I am behind the container and they only looked like they pointed downward and we're not on a pivot I really thought that I was out of sight unfortunately when I had the time lapse set up outside of the location I was at that's when someone spotted my tripod definitely a rookie a mistake LOL

Walmart's loss prevention security camera setup is pretty awesome. They see almost every square inch of the property. I would think that the loitering around in the area behind the store at the beginning gave you away. That or the drone
I really thought I was far enough away in that corner on the side of the building behind the other stores
@@randomadventures2.0 I worked cases before, where I coordinated with Walmart loss prevention. The ones out front can zoom in across the parking lot and get the tag on a car. Any of those ones that are in a cluster up on a rod have pan/tilt/zoom capability. Inside the store they have 360 cameras, hidden cameras, and ones at every checkout. The only dead spots I've ever found in Walmart are the pet food aisle for some reason. Which is why you always find opened packaging behind items on that aisle.
I like to fry sardines in olive oil fired with an onion. Put it over rice.

Yes definitely this year they are horrible I've been in the woods for 3 years and not one tick until this year so far I found 21 but I treated all my clothes with Permethrin

I use to eat canned fish when I was young. Don't think I could handle the smell. But then I use to eat mountain oysters when I was little.

I couldn't choke down those canned fish. Even if I could there's no way I would do so without immediate access to a private restroom for at least 6 hours following. You're definitely braver than me in that sense.

Came upon this video by accident. Um I don’t understand the attraction to camping in a parking lot. I’ve overnighted in my rv in the past in a Wally parking lot and didn’t much enjoy it but was grateful for the place to park….
How do you get all the cinematic shots for 4 different cameras than pan around and more when you are by yourself? Curious.
This video was shot with my Samsung Galaxy 23 can I use a tripod there was only one camera which was my phone so a lot of moving the tripod and redoing the same motions if it is a shot from behind me and it's usually shot as a b-roll or a distant shot there I overlay in editing to give the appearance of multiple cameras and angles

I love your videos. Sorry you got busted. You might watch some of “Camping with Steve” ‘s videos for some helpful hints. He seems to be master of not getting caught. I suspect they have some hidden cameras as well.
There's definitely more cameras than you think. There's even head-height hidden cameras in the upright "product detectors" as you go out the door

I would like to get up in the bushes on that side but that bank was too steep to climb and I wanted to be a little closer with this video however if you watch some of my earlier videos when I do a Ziploc bag meals I definitely use a lot of tuna and salmon in my ramen noodle Ziploc bag meals however now that I'm carnivore for 81 days I don't eat anything but meat fish chicken eggs water and salt

That dolly they brought later was going into storage. No way you would have made it. Those cameras cover every inch of the lot. Don’t be fooled by old technology lol.
The weird thing is the trailer had four zip ties on each of the handles so I know they weren't going to put anything in it because I drove by 2 days later and the zip ties were in the same position so I think they were just going over to that area to look to see if there was trash and that I was gone but while I was filming them from behind the dumpster they were looking at me LOL

Yeah I got too comfortable send it up and then straight down but I think they had already noticed my tripod about 15 minutes earlier according to my time lapse of the sunset

Yeah I wanted to try to stay as stealthy as possible Didn't work out Lol I thought of bringing the cot but I tried to pack everything in a smaller pack to not look as obvious yeah my grammar isn't the greatest all the time LOL

That was one in the group they actually came back about 10 minutes later with about six others along with the manager the managers the one that spoke to me they were the two that I saw in a time lapse later on did not even know they were there
