Bring frozen bottles of water with you Luke. ! I use them all summer long, so I can sleep on hot nights! Just lay the bottles against your body. You'll love it as much as the breeze! 😊❤
“I’m not an automobile channel so I won’t do a review” then does a review 😂 - not a hate comment just found it funny! Absolutely love your videos mate, watch them to go to sleep to they’re so relaxing! Keep up the good work mate looking forward to what the future brings!
Please don’t take this the wrong way but your videos are so calming and soothing and just have a really awesome vibe to them that they almost make me fall asleep. I say almost cause I can’t sleep with videos with voices playing. I can listen to rain ambiance but that’s it really.
That was nice of you to mention that Tony from AB Camping lent you the tent. And very nice things that you said about him. I enjoy watching both of you! Even though you both do the same thing, you have different styles of doing it. I love your videos and the views are just spectacular! You can see all the hard work you put into your videos. It would be nice to see you and Tony do a video together at some point.❤ Hopefully he gives you the tent😊We would love to see you camp in the deep snow, like you said,in that tent. Keep up the awesome videos! Hope Victoria is doing well, we miss her. God bless❤😊
Luke, you eat good my friend, when you camp out! Yum! Thanksgiving while camping! Thanks Luke for all the information you share--also about the vehicles too. Blessings to both you and Susie, from Gresham Oregon, Michelle Reed
I do pure synthetic every 7k. My car is a ‘94 Nissan Sentra with over 400k. It had 9 miles on it when I drove it off the lot and the 1st place I went was straight to an oil change place and had full synthetic put in. I have changed the synthetic oil every 7k miles since then. Engine runs like it’s brand new!
I would’ve thought that the mountains at that elevation would not get that hot. I live in Florida hundred percent humidity feel like temperature has been anywhere 106 108 112 no breeze that’s hot but I enjoy it.. so I can understand how you could feel uncomfortable and will do that to you. Love your videos, especially love your talking videos really don’t care for the quiet ones and that’s because I feel like I’m interacting with you when you’re caring on a conversation. I still watch your other videos because I enjoy them.. I also understand all the work that you do put into making these videos. thank you so much for all the work you do again your videos are fantastic
On a cool morning watch out around the wheels, copperheads will crawl up around the brake drums and discs. seen several killed that way drawn to the heat.. Whipping sound in back going down the road one morning, next door neighbor killed a 3 ft or so copperhead wrapped inside the rear wheel. Came out of the kudzu into wheel.
I used a piece of plywood with 3 2x4s screwed to the bottom to raise the back part of my 4runner up equal with the back of the seats when they are down. Makes all the difference in the world when sleeping in it.
Say what you want about Luke. He seems like a happy go lucky guy who's mistress is nature and that's alright in my book. Another good video Luke. Keep it up!🩷👍PS - Luke, i think the bug wanted to share the spotlight with you before you called it a night. Smh. Everyone wants to be a star Lol 😊
Luke … Beyond excellent video!!! Enjoyed it immensely!!! Please send Susie my warmest regards!!! God bless all of you all from me and mine!!! Chuck Knight from Atascocita, Texas. ✝️🎣👨🌾🦌🙏
oh luke another cool looking camping stove. where did you get it. i have so many saved camping gear items on my amazon cart because of you😅I just got the AquaQuest tarp delivered from amazon couple days ago. I'm loving the camping gear reviews. now i don't have to purchase camping gear blindly & hoping they will work or provide good functionality. so thank you luke for the honest review & all the amazing gear you have suggested. i can't wait to test them all out next month in august for annual 10 day camping trip with my hubby. he will be happy that all the money i spent was worth it😅😅the wind/rain here@the oregon coast can be brutal so lets see what happens
You have the best job in the world. You do what you love doing AND you get paid for it. Plus, your wife tells you "We need a new washer, go camping and make a video!"
Gr8 video Luke. I just purchased that stove as well!!! Bought tp start more hikin' videos so lots of gear in the works to order for that soon. Thanks for puttin' the links in the descriptions for us. This tent may be good for early Spring or late Fall
Oh, Luke is one of the few outdoors channels I watch, we chat via email a bit. Thanks for followin'my channel too, I ha e an outdoors channel as well but I dont plug them on other's channels. If you comment on one of my videos I can direct ya to it@tigga1231 @@tigga1231
Hi Luke! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. You make camping seem so easy. You wouldn't want to camp in Tx during the summer. Today's high temp is 100°. Very hot days in August. But, I can expect that in Tx. lol. Keep the videos coming. I really enjoy them.🤗
I love your videos and maybe you should put 2 of those logs in your truck just in case you want to stay out there a little longer.and then you know at least you have the logs for emergencies.you are awesome 💞🙏👍😀
Another great video .I think I have said before that camping out here in the UK is illegal in many parts of the country. Landowners do not like any wild camping or truck camping. Some areas you can get away with it ,but only if you stealth camp .However ,I do realise that things are completely different in America .I do enjoy your channel so much .I do realise that you do not get the opportunity to read all of the comments. Keep up the good work 👏
Hello, one more thing about coffee. I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing the trick about (did you call it cowboy coffee?) pouring the cold water in just a bit in the center and the spout of the coffee pot to move the grinds to the bottom of the pot. Really, so good. No one ever taught me that before. Thanks again :)
Thank You for saying that about littering, I have notice you put your waste in a clear Ziploc type bag and Thank You for showing that also. So many of the camping videos I have seen on youtube don't collect their own trash but add to it. Thank You!
The 80s is mild outdoor working weather conpared to what it used to be in the midwest when i was a young guy. Things have really cooled down since i was young. And we didnt have air conditioning either. Just fans, and we might have 90 degree nights. Being surrounded by lakes made it like a sauna also. It has cooled since i was younger alot.
That's the trick - cheater coffee in the new(ish) kettle. You did redeem yourself with that morning cup of Joe though. Just kidding of course. You did the correct thing about that bullet you found. Glad you were able to gear test. Glamping with a fire log and battery fan (I can totally see why - so hot). Your dinner looked scrumptious!
Watching your new video. You are amazing. Where's my girl Susie? I binge watch you guys. I especially love the videos with rain, thunder and lightning ⚡🌩️.
I'd say stick with hammocks during the hot and humid months for that good air flow and then hit the ground with tents and cowboy tarp shelters in the colder months.
I had a 2017 Tacoma and mine too had a transmission with a mind of its own. I often had to manually select a gear so it would not just shift constantly in my hilly neighborhood. Overall the truck was meh, fine. Ended up getting a ‘19 Ranger and it’s just incredible.
That cricket! You should have found it and relocated it. For a second I had to pause and ensure it wasn't from my house. Good adventure as always though. Cheers!
Luke, when it comes to food? Man, you’re easy to please…heh, heh, heh…I was raised on top of a plateau in East Tennessee. We had high humidity all my childhood; so, it’s what I knew…and loved. I spent all of my teen years camping, fishing, hunting all up and down the side of that mountain. The heat? We jumped into a cool mountain stream, sometimes 20 feet deep and cool. Maybe you could find some blue-holes on your mountain and cool off.
Love the sound of the Whiperwill. We had a nest in the side yard of the small house I grew up in near Tomahawk Wisconsin.... Native American Folk Lore said hearing a Whiperwill is a bad omen. Nonetheless I loved it.
Luke, it is situations like this one that I take a small buddy burner with me on trips. I make buddy burners that typically run about 2-3 hours in a 10 ounce tuna can
I so enjoyed the cricket at night, and bet ti smelt like heaven with that layment of pine trees. Those whiporwills can persist until midnight if they are in a group. I would have lingered longer with those birds in the morning. I know you were expecting rain, but as uncomfortable as you were at night. I'd have been tempted to drag my sleeping gear out under the tarp.
I don't care what tent you have any temp above 80 degrees and high humid you're going to be hot. Putting the rain fly on just makes it worse and when it rains your moist no matter what. I use an 8 inch rechargeable fan I got for Amazon and it is amazing, lasts for 20+ hours on low. You're almost better off with just a tarp, some big dope and a low profile set up.
Great adventure, Luke. The UK seems to have the same kinda weather you guys are experiencing at present. One moment, hot and humid with thunderstorms, next almost cold and autumnal almost wintery conditions. . . . All the best. 👍🏼
Whenever I go to popular camp sights I’ve started bringing my own wood if it’s close to my truck. I have a tub I keep full of wood in my truck bed, just in case.
In summary, while the production cost of antivenom is relatively low, the combination of the U.S. healthcare system's structure, pricing practices, regulatory environment, and lack of competition has led to extraordinarily high costs for patients. In contrast, Australia's public healthcare system absorbs these costs and provides treatment without direct charges to patients, resulting in a dramatically different experience for snakebite victims. I was at a campsite in the Wisconsin Dells last year and found about 5 or 6 googly eyes (probably for a kid's crafts since I also found plastic wrappers for drink box straws). Kinda a fun find in the morning after I had to set up in darkness and I step out to find eyes on the ground 🤣
I told my husband that you're the reason I have to spend so much money on outdoor stuff. He'd like to talk to you when you get a second.
😂😂😂
come on don't pass the buck.
🤣🤣🤣
😂
hey that is a convenient excuse, thanks~ LOL
Luke, the quality of your videos…the editing…it really is next level. Thankyou for all the effort you put into these.
Thanks Luke for the longer videos. Keep them going!
I know right. Everyone is so focused on shorts that no one has an attention span longer than two minutes
Great episode Luke. I’m up in the middle of the night, can’t sleep, so thanks for helping pass the time.
The birds in the morning. God is good.

Thanks for for the great idea for Turkey dinner in camp. . from NW WA 🌲🌲 it is hot in the woods here. i wonder if that tent will heat up a cold night?
I would look for local AM stations to listen to. Often the best source of weather and news.
I love AM. Good for listening to just before going to sleep.
@@zippitydoodah5693 Shortwave for bed time.
I always have a great time when I'm hanging out with you on your adventures and I specially love coffee time.
Enjoyed this episode. I appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos. Multiple camera angles are certainly a huge effort.
If the manufacturer suggests changing oil every 10,000 miles, change it every 5,000 miles. You'll be glad you did. 😁
I change my oil every 3000. It is 28 years oil and still running.
I do pure synthetic every 7k. My car is a ‘94 Nissan Sentra with over 400k. It had 9 miles on it when I drove it off the lot and the 1st place I went was straight to an oil change place and had full synthetic put in. Yeah, synthetic oil may outlast conventional oil, but you get the same contamination from regular operation through the air filter.
WTG!
@@MuirWoods111….DAMN, that is truly great for a Nissan, WELL DONE!!!

Love hearing the Whip por wills
But not when ones next to your bedroom window during mateing season 😅😅

Hi Luke , looks like a great place to 🏕 camp . Stay Safe ! ❤😊
Welcome to Florida, that's the "hot" weather here! Be safe!
Absolutely. Oklahoma has also been almost unbearable lately with the heat and humidity.
As an auto shop owner I wouldn’t let a single new car go over 5k miles on an oil change. The oils today are so thin they burn up so fast.
Nice summer adventure. Won’t lie though. Looking forward to the fall and winter adventures.
I enjoy your camping videos. I learn a lot from them and also your advice probably help save my life.
Idea: take others with you, maybe city kids or employees from your favorite diner.
Hi Luke I'm here.!
Luke … Beyond excellent video!!! Enjoyed it immensely!!! Please send Susie my warmest regards!!! God bless all of you all from me and mine!!! Chuck Knight from Atascocita, Texas. ✝️🎣👨🌾🦌🙏
Your dinner looks delicious. I much prefer your “home cooking” to the freeze-dried packets of mystery food.
Love the videos Luke. Keep up the good work
Hey Luke, that "thanksgiving" dinner beats a Mountain House hands down! And simple too.

Looks like a fun little adventure.
I think that tent would be great for climates where it gets chilly during most summer nights.
I put a fan in my tent when it is warm. It helps lower the temp enough to sleep.
As a texan, 82 degrees in the summer would be a blessing.
Time for COFFEE - I mean coffee and camping that is !!!

thanks for the measurements in the metric system , and nice video sr
so true with the trash thing i do rc rock crawling and almost everytime im on a trail i just pick up any trash i see and i always see it
Always back your vehicle in so your pointed in the right direction out incase something happens and you have to roll out fast, quick and in a hurry.

The back seat bottom cushions should come out with either a couple bolts or snaps, that will level it out when you fold down the rear seats.

THAT is a really smooth dirt road. We have NO dirt roads in Arizona as nice as that and few paved roads that smooth.
No way to be in snake area for me. I’ll watch from afar.❤😂
I really like The telescopic light. But at 150 to $200 for a flashlight on the end of the pole it's insane.
The reason trucks cost so dang much is because people are stupid enough to pay for it. If you stop paying these exorbitant prices they'll lower them.
I bought a misting fan that is great for hot weather. USB charging! And my Ryobi fan.
With that much humidity and heat even with the fly off that tent would have been hot to sleep in
