In the beginning of the video you said it's creamy. But It's not creamy it's not cream cheese. This cheese fried or not it's always rubbery. It taste great good video.
When not overly fried or fried on too high of a heat, Queso Frito can be soft and creamy. It's all about temperature and moisture content of the cheese.
I work with chefs and have been able to make practically ANYTHING vegan. This is one recipe I'm STILL working on. I'm half Nicaraguan and I miss this cheese. I've made so many other Nicaraguan foods vegan. This one is tough but I'm determined to get that flavor profile and texture just right! Hell, I might end ip selling it!
This looks delicious--I just bought some of this to try it. I have a question though, and I'm truly not trying to be obnoxious--I really want to know. (Yes I did leave you a thumbs up!) Does it bother anyone else the way people with acrylic nails tend to use such extremely exxagerated hand movements? For me it's distracting--I want to be able to concentrate on what you're saying and your pretty face, but all the waving around of your hands just drives me nuts. Am I the only one?
