Hey, your video popped on my feed. I've been watching elder scroll lore videos, so that's probably why. Anyway great vid, I'm gonna try es2 now becuase of it. Thanks
I got addicted in 2017 to Daggerfall before when the Unity version was in alpha mode. It's amazing how far the Unity version has come with mods. I'm totally addicted gain right now.
I love how you compare daggerfall to skyrim I honestly feel like as elderscrolls has aged its gotten dumbed down to such a degree it hurts the Games. I love daggerfall and it does what it set out to fairly great but skyrim without extreme modding gets old quick and the lack if depth is so disappointing. I haven't played morrowind but from all that I've seen and heard that might be a better in-between of the 2. I wish more modern games played like daggerfall. Like you said it honestly is great for role-playing and is such a blast to just sit down and get lost in it world
In my opinion, Bethesda's world crafting was at its peak in Morrowind. The Elder Scrolls is in a fantasy setting. But a problem with a lot of fantasy is that it's nothing more than "Middle Ages Europe but sometimes with pointy ears and some magic." When Morrowind plops you into the start, you are an alien in a strange land. This is the Dark Elves' homeland and they do things different. Architecture is their own, the most unique of any TES game to this date. And in all likeliness, the Dark Elves won't like you at all. Yet there's still familiar things like the Imperial Legion in the area.
How about a list of mods you are using? Your game looks different, and sometimes, better then mine in some places.. like in character creation for instance.
Oh yeah this game is even playable on Android now! Several mods have been ported as well and more are being released often.
How can i play daggerfall on my phone? That sounds like the most epic way to F off on the go!

I enjoy this dramatic reading of a game review.
