- Although really unique, special, and customized objects in an EDC are impressive, I find it's much less stressful to have items that are easily replaceable.
My everyday carry consists mostly of "phone, keys, wallet, mask," plus a few other objects based on need (it all depends where I'm going!).

Cats have a very minimal EDC .. you know just the tail and they are good to go! Some don't even need that! :-)

I have a similar edc. It is doubled on work days with an extra set of keys, work phone, and some pocket tools. It drives me bananas to have twice the crap to remember. And I've never had a tech item that was as much of a game-changer as my Bose noise cancelling headphones. They are my go-to extra item. Bulky, but it's worth hauling them around if I'm out all day.
I really enjoy the transitions to the following video (..."ready to go" - "location scouting"), very nicely done 🤘
I like key minimalism (certainly after my previous house and job where I felt like a jailer - keys everywhere!). Currently I have two keys - front door and bicycle lock.

Im a huge fan of the peak design phone tripod, my product design class professor had the founder of PD come talk to us about it and had a few of us test it out and its one of the best phone tripods ive ever used
I have the same phone and wallet setup! I love everything about the size. I did some research and the Peak designs phone case for the 12 mini looks promising. My apple case is so badly beaten up :-(

Oh man… I’m someone who always says “Phone, WALLET, Keys,” instead of P-K-W, so it’s super weird to hear you say that variation over and over. 😅 I have a hand-me-down iPhone XR that came with a two-card sliding compartment built inside phone case, if that makes sense? But after not even eight months, that phone case has worn down and the sliding door will sometimes just slide open if I hold the phone on the wrong side, so I’m definitely on the hunt for a new case with wallet on or in it. Also have been wanting a phone stand since before the holidays, and wow that one in the last few seconds of your video does look incredibly slick… that might make it to the top of my list of considerations! I never thought about other people doing this!! Mine is also P-W-K-M, where I tap in this order: front right pocket, purse zip pocket, front left pocket, back right pocket! It’s rare I forget anything with this, and I’m generally super forgetful 🙃
I carry a really small cross body bag! It holds my cards and cash in slots so no wallet. My glasses case where essentials are so my glasses cleaner, cloth, hair tie, chapstick, lighter, pen, AirTag.
The last thing are AirPods and my mask as well as keys and hand sanitizer! Xx
For me it is phone, wallet, mask and a handkerchief. I wear glasses so that's there but on my face so hard to miss.

Excellent EDC, simple and lightweight. I especially like the ease of the wallet and tripod that magnetize to your phone! Can you share which brand of tripod you have, please?
Thanks, Rachel! The mobile tripod is from Peak Designs - not the cheapest option, but lovely to use and feels like it'll last for a very long time.

My edc is iphone 13, a slim cardholder, airpods pro and a mask
Here in Australia, you don't really need a wallet, as drivers licence, credit cards etc are mostly all now on phone apps..

It sounds weird to me - I’m a “phone-wallet-keys” gal before I walk out the door of my house, with mask ALWAYS in my car.

Mostly I‘m out with the dog - phone (5se!!), tiny cash purse, mask, dog baggies, handkerchief. Done. All in a pocket. (maybe keys but there‘s always someone home these days…)
Anywhere else, I carry a very very small Fossil handbag pouch - tiny wallet for cc/licence, store cards, glass nail file, comb, pen, notebook, plasters, lip balm and a tiny zipped key purse for keys/cash.

Keychain, wallet, tobacco-papers-lighter, pocketknife, dumb phone, notebook, schetchbook, pencil case, kazoo, action cam, small backpack 🤠 and a hat or cap. And shoes, I find shoes kinda useful outside 😲

my house mumble is "wallet, keys, cellphone, chapstick, sunglasses, headphones, watch". originally it was just the first four, but then i moved to the desert and learned the wondrous benefits of eye protection, then eventually i got airpods, and finally an apple watch.
Yeah the apple soft touch cases are horrible. Their battery extender ones have the same problem I had to stop using mine.

Phone, Keys, Wallet, Mask, and AirPods/headphones
Very small purse ( not as in the American meaning of handbag but as in thing to keep cards, cash and change in) 2 keys on distinctive key ring ( which will fit into above purse) and phone. Shoes, coat, gloves,scarves, ID label ( i volunteer at a Foodbank) as required. But often a rucksack, empty apart from the above because weather changes so frequently in Cornwall UK that you might need to carry coats or scarves home! Lol.
I have the same mumble, but in my case i also add glasses to the list.

I have a phone that functions as my keys with a smart door lock and Google pay so there's my wallet. So I just carry a phone instead of a wallet and keys. And then I carry a self-defense device and that's it for my EDC.
You still do the mask thing?
My edc includes a sewing kit and a first aid kit bc you never know 🤷🏼♀️

are you still allowed to wear cloth masks in the US? here in germany we have to wear ffp2 masks everywhere.
Mine was always MILCK: money, ID, lip(stick/chapstick), cellphone, keys.

Also never thought of this?! I’ve been told to also have a photo of my driver’s license in case I were to ever use that since I don’t have my license no. memorized.
I currently have a photo of my ID to present with my required digital vaccination certificate if I want to go inside for a coffee/drink; never been refused 👍

I recommend a mask that’s double layered with a filter pocket.

unfortunately fabric masks have a short lifespan - even though theyre reusable (only about 10-15 washes). I would recommend a surgical mask under the fabric mask if youre using the mask to prevent covid.
Cloth masks are no longer recommended
They've been banned here in Germany for more than a year, at the end of 2020 I think. Because they are proven to be almost as bad as not wearing a mask at all. The only ones that really do their job (if worn correctly) are FFP2 masks really.
@@DasLulu97 I think N95s are supposed to work, and regular surgical masks are better than nothing.
I don't know were you live but here in California they made it a requirement to wear masks again

@@DasLulu97 They arent really "banned" in Germany (fellow german here). They still sell and I see so many people wearing them...and I also dont give a damn about what type of mask is "allowed" and which is not. Nobody in charge knows what is right or not anymore (and maybe they never did). Its just chaos and alot of useless, senseless rules that ruin so many younger people for no good reason. I get dizzy wearing any mask correctly too and cant do it for long, its gross. I do my best but I dont plan to faint for that crap. I never catched any variant despite that so far and I just get tired of this "german angst", while all our neighbour nations are starting to chill again and go on with their lifes. The most annoying people are hypochondriac Karens, who tell others what to do.
