I also have the same style of sunglass as you, however mine are 1/2 frames, matte black on top and temples with thin “gold” bottom metal trim frame
And yet he goes to say the watch he wears is absolutely useless at telling the time in the dark. So basically it's a fashion accessory..

Totally agree with the "don't upgrade every year" I just upgraded recently but that was only because was using an iPhone 6s still and it was going to stop upgrading, I also needed to change my battery but also upgrading every year is not great for the environment. I totally see the point if you a youtuber or someone who needs to have a great camera on hand all the time or is in constant need of a large battery to use. Thanks for the amazing content, keep it up :)
Love this video... Those are my exact everyday carry! My Bellroy wallet, my car key, my phone, my watch and a plain Blistex lip balm! Even my smartwatch always rocking an analog face! Something about the ability to read time and not having to rely on my phone is clutch for me! If anything I feel more naked w/o a watch than any other tool. I will literally drive home from work for it!
Great bit about the wallet-I have a card case for sometime and then i bought a stick-on stand to my phone (I have an 8 Plus, so the stand is a nice touch) for the cards! I found that I had to replace my cards more often because of being exposed. The keys are the next thing that I have to figure out, so I’m checking out what you use! Thanks
I have found it's helped a lot with keeping some semblance of organization. knowing my keys are in my pocket as they should be and my cards are as they should be.

Our EDC’s are so similar! Cole Haan minimalist card wallet, leather Volvo key, AirPods (sometimes) and iPhone SE. I also have the Bellroy key case (which lives in my car because someone is nearly always home). I’ll have to check out the Bellroy wallet. Thanks for sharing!

For my keys I got the Orbitkey, everyday keys plus a USB stick! very minimalistic and keeps the key's from touching other pocket items!

Minimalism and edc are pretty much on the opposite ends of the spectrum but doable. Here’s mine: Phone, watch, thin wallet, keychain (key, gerber shard and keychain flashlight) and wireless earbuds. All black btw. Great vid! 👌🏻
Congratulations on your 100K subscribers. You mentioned Taotronic earbuds - you should also check out their LED desk lamps. Angular, brushed steel, really quite nice design.
I have moved away from Jeans since the day I found a really nice Chino and relax fit pants... And they come in more styles too.
I also bring a chest bag and put everything in it. (Like the one from Fendi) So I don't have to put anything but my phone in my pocket.
I'm a big fan of the Bellroy Keyholder. It's one of my favorite edc items.
Since practicing minimalism, I’ve downsized my purse. I used to carry large oversized bags lol. Now I carry small tiny purses with the essentials only

EDC is a funny thing as it is a super common thread for people that are big time collectors of stuff like watches, knives etc etc. I think we all carry some stuff around and I think figuring out what works can be useful. Like you I carry a card wallet that ive had for years (an old saddleback I got as a gift). I carry my iphone, car keys when Im using the car and I will usually carry a pretty large pocket knife. Kind of a stupid reason but I walk in the woods a lot and honestly want to be able to have some kind of tool to protect my dog from an attack (last resort but it makes me feel safer for my girl haha). Other than that I carry a treat pouch for my dog that has poop bags :). I like to keep it pretty minimal. I will say my phone has a case on it just to prevent accidental breakage.
Small pocket knifes like the 74mm and 58mm Victornix Swiss Army knifes are legal carry in the UK but no knife or sharp object like a screw driver is allowed as carry on when flying.
I carry a Swisscard or an Executive pocket knife - both in black.
A key chain pocket torch is useful. Victornix Midnite Manager with a press and hold spot light or a full 600 lumen keychain torch like the Rovyvon A8X.

I wouldn't say that having or not having an EDC makes you a minimalist. However, it is one of the places you can start practicing minimalism. Remove keychains from your keys, choose a slim wallet. As someone who is also into style, a watch is essential for me whenever I leave the house!

What do you use at your desk for holding all of your EDC? Is that black, rectangle available anywhere or do you have suggestions for a similar product?
I love your key holder. Mine's was similar. Unfortunately lose it...So im searching for something new... No so much look til now.

I love watches. I will probably upgrade my iPhone 6s soon for the camera and battery because I'm a photographer so a good camera in my pocket is invaluable. I also us my phone lot for home school

It's funny, seems I'm not the only one who prefers black for certain items. I used a wallet for years and it fell apart. It wasn't expensive enough, to get it repaired. So my wife bought me a new one (for Christmas). In black but with orange threads on the outside edges. For me, this was like it was purple, but I couldn't explain it to her. She thought all black would be to boring. And especially looked for something less boring.
I love that little tray organiser on your desk. Where did you get that from? Tried finding it online but did not have much success.

I was pleasantly surprised at some of your edc choices. Specifically the sunglasses and TaoTronics wireless headphones. Love the all black carry! Keyfob and wallet are quite lovely.
While I rarely wear sunglasses, I always prefer a pair of cheap metal framed ones as opposed to plastic ones that are prone to having their arms fall off. From a durability standpoint, metal may bend, but plastic will crack.
As far as my own EDC, I use a cheap Relic Wallet with an integrated bottle opener that I never use, a Fossil Gen 5 smartwatch as some of the features on it such as the flashlight, notifications and ability to see the time in the dark are quite valuable to me, a Cross Classic Century Pen & Pencil set, a Fenix E35 V.30 flashlight, a small carabiner with my keys that clips on to the belt loop on my jeans, and a small cheapo folding pocket knife and of course, my smartphone (Moto G7). Maybe I should lighten my carry 😂.

Agree that the watch can tell much about a person. But it isn't just about the looks either. The choice of movement (quartz vs mechanical etc), the level of craftsmanship, value for money and misc other stuff say a lot about the wearer as well.
