I would have definitely let the pink stuff sit for a couple of minutes before trying to scrub it and I would have used a heavy duty brush... the product might be great but u need to give it a fair chance 😂💕💕
@M K actually that makes sense! Just in my head I feel like the dirtiness on the surface needs to get wet and soapy to come off easier 🤔 but I'm not sure if that's actually a thing lol
When I use pink stuff I use lots of hot water and a scourer with it and it works well. Wouldn't use it for deep cleaning an oven but takes rust off ceramic and deals with lighter baked on marks than in the video
The instructions actually say to let it sit for 10 minutes.
@M K mmkay. Whatever you say.
@@shayanadavis4554 do you have proof that shows otherwise?
Cleaning videos are soooo satisfying 😍
Rachel, I NEED to know what material is on your black shower walls!?!? I'm an Interior Designer and can't help but notice those things while you are providing a review on the cleaning products. LOL
Have you tried Whink on the rust? It works on almost any surface and rather instantly. I’ve used it all my life on clothes, carpet, porcelain, dishes, tub or sink
With the link stuff you can leave iron for 30 minutes and go back to it with a damp cloth or use something more abrasive instead of just a cloth it really does work it's just your methods x
I’ve used the Folex before, my apartment complex that I lived in over 10 years ago made us use it on our carpet there. It definitely worked for fresh stains. I was always surprised at how well it removed stuff from my carpet. It definitely saved me some move out charges.
I have one of the power scrubbers and it's not worth the money in my experience.
Watkins has a REALLY GREAT cleaner for rust and hard water stains!
So we have a wood-stove to heat the house. The local hardware store carry’s a wood-stove glass cleaner. It’s the best thing ever. Basically oven cleaner on steroids. Spray and wipe. Super quick and easy. Best part is that it doesn’t smell strong as oven cleaner.
Try that scubber with the pink stuff on your oven
O_O I came to this video by saying "You know what-- *click*" and then you go and start the video by saying "You know what's weird" 🤣💀
U NEED TO USE A BRUSH WITH THE PINK STUFF (a toothbrush)
Unlatch and take off the oven door it’s way easier to clean inside and the door when it’s not attached
And line it with foil !!
The Pink Stuff says to use a sponge.. Its good to use a Scrub daddy or momma
Number one thing people don’t do when cleaning is giving the Products TIME to work . When I do my bathrooms I spray down the areas then go to the next bathroom spray down/apply the products , then go back to first bathroom after the Products have had time to do their magic .
I was thinking the same. The only thing she really worked at was the stain remover on the pillow.
Dunno if you guys gives a shit but if you guys are bored like me atm you can stream all of the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been watching with my girlfriend for the last couple of months =)
@Cannon Toby yup, I've been using InstaFlixxer for years myself :)
That has no bearing on the narcissistic youtube folk who are more into self promotion than content. Your logic and science is moot.
I’ve always was brought up to let products marinate lol 😂
Am I the only one who always cleans the back/bottoms of my cooking and bakeware?! Why wouldn’t you? Someone already mentioned Bar Keeper’s Friend in the comments. The kind specifically designed for cookware is my Holy Grail - it’s spectacular!!
I think they meant they only hard-core scrub on the one side. I'm sure they wash it.
I always wash my pans on both sides. I like bar Keepers friend too.
I love Bar Keeper’s friend! It’s all I use on my cookware and they look completely new top and bottom :)
I do! I stack them all so if the bottom isn’t clean it’s touching the top of the next pan so that would be gross IMO.
Yes, this confused me. Do you not stick it into the sink and wash it like everything else? 🤷♀️
Those were the cleanest “dirty” shoes I’ve ever seen.
Use a brush with the pink stuff? that would probably help to really scrub everything off!
Or maybe put it on and let it sit for 15 - 20 min?
I use a scrub brush and everything comes out, this stuff is amazing?
Yea, it threw me off that she used a rag.
Or use the scrub daddy with it
That drill brush would kick butt with it, imo
"I don't clean the back of my pan, why would I?" Umm so they don't look like that🤣
😂😂😂 RIGHT!!!
You should always leave the cleaner to set for a little bit first to do it’s magic, also activate it with water always just sayin’♥️
Yes I always leave my cleaner to sit for a bit. Unless I'm wiping down a counter or table.
I was just about to comment leave it for abit abit and not a cloth something more rougher
Same. The pink stuff needs to be stay in place for a bit.
@@noodles.dumplings.kimchi2878 that’s useful to know; I usually don’t bother, but I haven’t tried it on grout. I find it works well on sinks and in the bathroom.
Some say not to!
God bless her for showing us how dirty the inside of her stove is. She looks so prime and proper all the time, it’s nice to see I’m not just a slob and it happens to Rachel too 😅😅
I've had really good luck with the pink stuff using a scrub daddy sponge. Also let it sit for a bit not to the point of drying but a little time to soak in.
That power brush + pink paste could probably get rid of the stains in your bathtub drain, since it’s a hard spot to clean.
It would've made all of these jobs easier. Shoes ✅ Pans✅ Bathroom Grout✅ Carpet ✅Oven ✅
When the silicone is that worn out it’s just time to redo the sealant. Wouldn’t waste more energy on it.
She just needs to pull the drain and use new plumbers putty.
My aunt once spilled red wine on her white carpet. She immediately poured an entire pack of salt on it and waited some time. Then she vacuumed the salt. There was no stain!
Salt and cold water will take out so many things!
I once got blood on my boyfriend’s sheets so I wet it and poured a bunch of salt on it and then scrubbed it in and bam! Gone. He was so shocked lol
@@biancajingles2690 blood stains get out very easily if you just soak it in cold water
I used salt on a grape juice stain on my steps when I was little! My parents never found out 🤣👏🏻
Peroxide pulls blood out but sample on inconspicuous area first to see if it fades material
Thanks for trying all this! Def use a scouring pad or brush with the pink stuff(and honestly most cleaning products in those areas), rags won’t do anything really.
Every time I see a liquid cleaner sprayed on a fabric and the stain "disappears" I always just assume the stain is just soaking below the surface so you no longer see it. Instead of actually cleaning it
Yeah same, which is why I'm glad she showed us the pillow was clean as well and not just the pillow case :)
A lot of stain removers do, but I've never had a problem with the Folex. I've been using it for years, and you can usually see where you've soaked the stain up onto your rag/towel.
It kills me that you weren’t using a old tooth brush for the grout!!!
It legit made me angry
Yeah she literally gave no effort. Like that’s why it never comes clean 😂
Yes! You're supposed to SCRUB the pink stuff
Nail polish: only dissolves with acetone
Rachel: maybe this will get the nail polish out
That’s what I was thinking!!
But hey, whatever lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Right lol 😂
have you tried nail polish remover? haha
the pillow looks like a crime happenend in the room it was in lol
I was saying the same thing about the nail polish, just use nail polisher remover lol
I use a magic eraser on my tennis shoes. And they make white shoe dye, and white shoe polish. I actually use those on my cloth KEDS.
The wine stain on the pillow looked kinda pretty, artsy, not gonna lie
Came here to say this exact thing 🤣
PRO-TIP: Magic erasers take crayon off of walls soooo easily (doesn't even need to be wet, just use it dry on the wall). I worked at a children's museum and whenever a parent saw me wiping the crayon off they'd ask "What is that?? Where can I get one???"
New cleaning tools/things/etc are the only things that excite me to actually clean. That and lighting a fresh candle at the end✨
Girl same! You know your an adult when your stoked about getting a new swiffer.
Same
I was excited to buy our new washer and dryer.‘it’s not the very first one this would be our 4th brand new set we bought and I get so excited. Like a child in a candy store 😆 😂
Scrub mommy or a scrub daddy with pink stuff is the best recommendation ever ❤
yes!! this is what I said! and letting the product sit for a min or 2
Sheet Pans like that aren't really gross and dirty. It's called seasoned 😃 I work in a bakery and they worked hard to get those pans seasoned! You want them that way 😉
This. Getting new pans in the bakery I used to work in was both exciting because new stuff is always fun, and a pain in the butt because they were not seasoned. Lol
That’s what I commented on too!! I worked hard seasoning my sheet pans! I was just given some new sheet pans and I get so annoyed when roasting carrots and potatoes stick to the pan. But keep cooking in the new ones so they develop that wonderful seasoning!
That explains it but also makes me sad when I buy fun colored sheet trays and they start changing colors
@@marceabrann2166 I agree 100% I bought white ones years ago and I thought they look so cool because they're white... you cant even tell they were once that color 🤣🤣
Wait. Is that actually a thing? Like cast iron? I use foil and I hate the waste. Or is that just an excuse to save your elbow's grease?🤣
Ok, so what Rachh calls a disgusting pan, I call a successfully seasoned pan.....that kind of seasoning takes time to develop, but it really helps keep things non-stick naturally compared to plastic synthetic non-stick. Seriously, if your pans look like that, good job!
If it was the part that she cooks on but that was the under part of the pan that she don't wash
This is exactly what I was thinking. Seasoning. Because it's on the outside, it's not really a functional patina but it's absolutely not necessary to scrub all that off unless it's purely for aesthetic reasons. Steel cookware is going to patina and season and that is very beneficial especially when used for things that are cooked at higher temperatures for shorter amounts of time.
I love cleaning tic toc’s, I hate when they mix all those bleaching agents. They wanna burn their lungs from the inside lol. Otherwise they are so satisfying. Also great video ♥️
I don’t know about the green bottle of Folex, but I use the purple one and it’s absolutely amazing for set stains of all types.
Same! It has gotten out chocolate ice cream stains from last year. Now I use it on my kids clothes when I'm sorting it for laundry day and even the washed, dried, set in strains come out
I was also wondering what the green bottle is! I always use the purple one too and it works fantastic. I would’ve just used nail polish remover for the nail polish lol..
I swear by the purple 💜
@@renacyvas5515 the one that say carpet stain remover?
@shauna yes, that's the one.
Please be careful with the pink stuff on your oven! Its abrasive so if used on the glass door it can force it to shatter next time the oven is switched on! It's happened to a lot of people so please be careful!x
I'm surprised she didn't do the dawn dish spray in her oven. I've seen that on TikTok too
Its definitely something that's happened to alot of people regardless of cleaning off properly. Theres a lot of information on the internet about people's experience
Do you have a suggestion for a good oven cleaner that doesn’t have a horrible smell?
Also, have you tried Bar Keeper’s Friend for the tub??? That works wonders on my porcelain sink!
Works wonders on stainless steel pans, aluminum pans, and baking sheets too.
Any particular type? (Powder, spray etc) i have such issues with my porcelain sink
Powder is stronger I clean houses for a small business that has given me the best results.
I love this stuff for my ceramic sinks, it it ✨Amazing✨
like Barkeepers can get messy when using it but man it works literal wonders in my opinion!
Also use acetone on your run in the spots where the nail polish is set in like you’re removing it from your nails.
Wow thought this was common sense
You know you're old when a cleaning products video excites you 😅
And when you are thinking...easy off oven cleaner!
Was about to agree but then I remembered that is was gen z who popularised the cleaning videos on tik tok
I know. I was telling my bf about them & he rolled his eyes at me lol.

Try using Barkeepers Helper on that drain of yours with a scrub pad. That stuff is amazing.
Barkeepers friend or Hamburger Helper which is it?? Lol
@@tracystarr9205 oops i messed up. Not sure what Hamburger has to do with it. U cant clean with hamburger so Im pretty sure they figured it out a long time ago. Lol
The fact that you were able to rub the Folex into that first stain with your fingers _which have nail polish on them_ was probably a bad omen for your nail polish stain. 😁
100% acetone nail polish remover will do it - just use a little bit on a q-tip until the polish comes up and make sure you clean it off the carpet right away to avoid it discoloring your carpet.
My go to cleaner for carpet or any upholstery is tuff stuff! That stuff is amazing!! I’ve been able to get out so many stains with it it’s a foaming cleaner and is just awesome! Think it’s marketed more for your car but I use it everywhere so good!!
Obsessed with these videos. Should I, too, be cleaning? Yes. But I will watch you instead 😂😂
fun fact! red turns green when it neutralizes therefore the stain is being removed :)
You're eyelashes look BOMB in this video! What mascara are you wearing?!
I heard toilet bowl cleaner cleans grout really good! I used actual grout cleaner last week and now I’m obsessed hahaha
I’ve also seen most people use a “scrub daddy” with the pink stuff!
I feel like that’s not the same folex that everyone uses. I’ve actually never even seen the green one. The purple one is a holy grail in my house though 🙌🏻
I use stuff like BLUE dawn, white vinegar mixed and heated in microwave it cleans shower, microwave etc so well! Also, I need that scrub tool thingy at the end! I have chronic back/joint pain! That could really help cleaning the shower/bathtubs, etc
I love using that for the bathtub/shower.
I saw it in one of my fb groups and it was amazing. We rent and I could not get it clean,I sprayed this-waited and hour & rinsed, used a towel or washcloth and it just came off. 😍
Jeeze, your shower is bigger than my whole bathroom! =)
right?? same
I was just cleaning the house and thinking, MAN I’m in the mood to watch one of Rachel’s videos!! (You’re always so funny and smiley!) What good timing!! ❤️
Watching this video made me want to call you up lmaooo. But the bissell piece does come off.. if you push the small nodule on the back side of the handle.
i actually use baking soda and water to whitening my shoes and it work just as good as that 🤗
Baking soda and water cleans most things, and is so much healthier than breathing in various chemicals. You really only need baking soda and white vinegar/lemon juice for all household cleaning bar dishes and laundry.
On the shoes (and many other things) Using a Magic Sponge works great. Add a little Dawn dish soap if needed.
And a spray called "Folex". It is magical!!! I use it for all stains, clothes, carpet etc.
Just realized she used Folex but mine is in a blue bottle..so not sure if it's different??
Dawn dish soap... preferably Platinum... And Vinegar. My Go-to for everything! Spray it on, let it sit and wash away. Perfect for the shower. I spray it on in the morning and wash it off at night. Key is to let it soak. It seriously is a life saver!
I do the same thing! Super cheap and works great!
I found out about the pink stuff this past weekend and I am in love with it, my sink has never been so clean and shiny and all my pots are spotless, I will never change it!
The nail polish will not come out without nailpolish remover love! At dollar general they sell little nail polish remover pads with oil that will work for you (:
I am so so so grateful you are willing to put time, effort, and resources into these videos! I am trying so hard to get better at cleaning and organizing, and your videos always inspire me
I love The Pink Stuff! I put a good layer on my oven door and let it sit for about 20 minutes and scrubbed with a Scrub Daddy. Also it worked wonders on the hard water stains in my tub. It cleaned my tub so well that even my husband noticed and asked what I cleaned it with.
I use a scrub daddy sponge with the pink stuff and it works wonders!! My oven looks brand new!
4:30 I LOVE The Pink Stuff. I got a blood stain on my white shoe (they were new so they killed the back of my heel😂) and as soon as I scrubbed some of the pink stuff on it got rid of the stain straight away. 100% would recommend❤️
Bar keepers friend is one of my favorite cleaners for sinks, tubs, pans, ect altho it is a little bit stronger so I use rubber gloves when using it. Nail polish remover works wonders for whitening shoes, don't know how good it would be to use on the body of a shoe but, great for the rubber part
Give Bon Ami a try. It’s been around for ages and isn’t as “strong” as BKF. meaning it won’t ruin your hands. I had toilet ring stains that wouldn’t budge for ANYTHING, even BKF. And bon ami took them out! I use it for cleaning nearly all surfaces now. Bonus, it’s always been a green product, and still is today!
With the pink stuff, I’ve seen lots of ppl use a scrub daddy with it
You can use non acetone nail polish remover on carpets, that polish should come out with that 😉
For the oven, theres a spray called elbow grease that literally melts grease away. Makes cleaning the oven glass sooo much easier
Will it work on the stove top covers???
It will indeed! Walls, vent, anything 😄
Elbow Grease spray is my favourite cleaning product.
You need a scrub daddy sponge, a new scrubby sponge will go a long way.
yesss!!!!
I honestly just use a broom to scrub the shower, I always have & so has my family. I thought it was normal until last year when my roommate questioned me about it, Idk maybe it’s a puertorican thing 👀🤣
See I've (British Caribbean) used a broom to clean the stone patio in the back yard but never thought to use one in the bathroom, great idea!
For the tub and the grout, you need Barkeeper's Friend. Miracle stuff, cleans a million other things too. If you really want the pan clean, use the spray on oven cleaner that you're going to get for your oven.
CLEANING TIP ( for the bissell )
Set it next to your sink and plug it in, fill your sink with warm water and use the handle like you would on the carpet and suck the sink water in and it cleans the tank for you!
Hands down I was most impressed with your full face of makeup while cleaning
This is why I just use a power drill with a scrubber attached like some home made power scrubber cuz I'm lazy. Don't ask me how I did it cuz my dad did it and called me an idiot for using so much elbow grease lmao
Use Easy Off oven cleaner on those cookie sheets. Lay out some.newspaper, coat the pan super well, let it sit over night. Then use a Brillo pad and it will look brand new 😁
“I don’t clean the back of my pan, why would I?” I’ve never related to anything more! 😂
You need the ikea sponges grey and white, wet it well and then pink stuff snd ofc spray the oven or stained surfaces with water first or something to release the stains
Pink stuff is amazing i swear
Bissell Canada sells additional “heads” for that machine! I have a regular one that’s black and it comes apart - game changer! I also got an upholstery attachment that I’ve used on my couch and car seats!

A magic hack for getting rust stains out is “The Works” toilet bowl cleaner from Dollar Tree.
yes!! it's great but be safe and wear gloves and don't let it spill!
Oven cleaners especially “EZ off” work wonders on pots and pans.
This and cover the easy off with stretch and leave it to do its thing for a while and wipe it off!
The purple folex is where the magic is at. Also, I use a rag or a brush to scrub at harder stains. I even use this on clothes before I wash them.
Baking soda and vinegar is what I use to clean my oven. Honestly so simple but so effective!
I would recommend trying X14 on that stain on your grout. That stuff is amazing. Simply spray it and flee the area. When you come back after the fumes have cleared, the stain will be gone. It worked wonders on our shower and on 2 outdoor chairs that had succumb to mildew.
Folex is really good for pet stains. I do have to scrub and blot a bit more than you did but the stains always disappear.
6:19 this is how all the pans we have look like from the back💀
✝️😇🔯🐑🕊️👽🧄🔭🎇🌍🪐🌏🪐🌎🪐🦅🇺🇸HolyPsalm91 Easy off oven spray works on pans Also✝️💜✝️🤍✝️💗
The pink stuff is useless! Didn't do anything 🤷
I work for a paint company!! please do NOT use magic erasers on paint it will remove your wall paint!! It says right on the packaging that it removes latex paint!!
I own a cleaning and carpet cleaning company. We are contracted by the government as the only cleaning company on one of the largest military bases in the world and they refuse to hire any other companies bc they like our work that much. We genuinely dont cut corners and always do our absolute best. That said a few tips I have are:
The oven.. you 100% need a scraping blade and an actual blade not like a paint scraper. Heat your oven to 200 degrees and then cut it off. Spray some degreaser (NOT easy off. Something like Awesome will work) and then scrape the stuff off the glass and bottom of the oven. Its truly the only way.
There really are no magical products that will help. The best things are your hands and what tools you use. A magic eraser is the only product I know that really does what it says.
Here are the few things I always have in my kit or my employees use:
A scraping blade
Awesome spray
Microban (for germs not really cleaning specifically)
Magic erasers
Micro fibers (dry and wet ones)
A toothbrush
A wire tooth brush (think they're auto brushes).
Oh also, please try not to use the carpet cleaning products and a rug doctor. The carpet cleaning products like spot cleaners truly do the opposite of what you want. It will make it impossible for the stain to actually come up even with a truck mounted machine. And rug doctor type of cleaners ruin your carpets. It just saturates your carpet and padding then only pulls up about 15% of the water it put out. So you're unknowingly creating mildew and mold on your sub floors. Its worth it to save your money and have a professional come out and clean it once or twice a year.
Try the Folex and the Brissel on the same stain. I don’t know if it will work, but maybe it will remove the stain quicker.
And maybe use the power scrubber on the rust stain with the pink stuff.
Have you tried 100% acetone on the nail polish stains. You can’t let it sit for too long because it will evaporate and “re-set” into the carpet.
The only thing that will take nail polish out of a rug is paint thinner, but spot test the fabric first. Raised many kids and had a bottle of red nail polish broken on a white carpey. I spoke with carpet companies and they said it was paint thinner or nothing. The paint thinner did the impossible...got all red polish out.
I have never cleaned the oven with a cloth, you need scouring pads and a little patience. Nothing in the world of cleaning happens instantly.
A little tip to clean your shoes: use toothpaste, this is miraculous! Works every time! 👍😘
I absolutely love Folex for carpet stains. I've never tried it on a pillow, pillows are really fluffy, so I would think it would be harder to clean, but it's really good for carpets. I've used it on wine stains and dried up doggy diarrhea.... TMI I know, but I'm sure other people have had to deal with that kind of cleanup so that's just an fyi
Always let cleaners sit and use a little water to help "activate" pastes!
After spending a lot of money based off tiktoks, I’ve realized people definitely dramatize products to get more views and likes 🥲
Place a damp cloth over the cleaner on the carpet then iron it!! Works so well😊
would a steam mop work too? i dont have an iron handy.
