RainX makes an anti-fog fluid that works really well. You have to buy it in the automotive goods section of the store, but the box recommends using it on any fog-prone glass, including in bathrooms.
I made my boss buy a case of Sprayway for our deli area. It cleaned up all the stainless steel hoods, trim, and counters perfectly. It melted years of cooked on grease from the hood fan.
I worked in a place that had stainless steel EVERYWHERE. We would sanitise the surfaces and then use a TINY drop of baby oil on some kitchen roll and buff it in. It wasnt left greasy but it always came out beautiful! I use the same method on my oven and extractor to this day!
Omg, i stopped using glass cleaner a few years ago when I started using e-cloth to clean. With just water it totally cleans windows so they are crystal clear! Saves me money and super easy.
Yeeeeessss on the glass cleaner! I get mine in the car cleaning section of Walmart. One little caveat to the Dawn dish soap….it absolutely works however I use the power spray and it makes a world of different in ease and covering a larger surface area. 😉
Try Downy Wrinkle Release spray. Smells like the fabric softener and it’s pretty inexpensive too! They often have travel sizes in the health and beauty aisle at Target and Walmart! Love your videos! 💜
Yes! I don't iron, as I seldom have clothes that need it. However, when I do have something that's wrinkly, I do use that & have for years. It works & smells pretty good.
yes! I came to also say this! I won't iron my husband's dress shirts and just spray and give a little tug and hang them to dry and they smell wonderful as a bonus!
I love the Chom Chom - I have four cats and a very sheddy dog so the fur is neverending. It works great on the sofa and chair and pillows. And carpet. And.
Scrub mommy is awesome. Been using the same one for months. I don't have a dishwasher, so it gets used loads on a daily basis. Not breaking down unevenly. I love it.
I make my own wrinkle release with my favourite fabric softener and water! You literally add about 2 tablespoons of softener to about 2 cups of water! Makes a good clothes refresher and works great for getting wrinkles out!!
Hi Rach! For picking up pet hair on furniture, have you ever tried a slightly damp sponge? You need a standard, regular sponge, not a scrubby sponge. You brush it across the furniture to pick up the pet hair. It does pretty well. Thanks for the great videos!
Sprayway is amazing! We have a can everywhere... in each bathroom, under the kitchen sink, in each car, laundry room. But yeah, it is potent to the nose. They also make an all-purpose disinfectant cleaner too I started using during the panini for surfaces. RainX Anti-fog is not only good for interior vehicle windows, but also for home use aka shower glass and mirrors.
My husband is a professional window installer and their company uses sprayaway. Also don't use that much and follow up with a dry cloth. It's awesome lol
I love that glass cleaner. Dollar Tree has one that is a dupe that works just as well for a lot cheaper. For a fabric wrinkle releaser, I love the one by Downy. If you like Downy, you will like it. It’s fresh and light
Love Sprayway glass cleaner, it’s pretty common where I’m at here in the states. I’ve found Costco has the best price per bottle when purchasing their 4-5 pack, but it’s reasonably priced at Walmart as well, and can also be found at home improvement stores such as Lowes and Home Depot. In my experience it doesn’t matter what type of (dry) cloth you use with it, and a little goes a long way. I’ve worked for car dealerships for years, and Sprayway Glass cleaner is what we’d use as a quick spray exterior detailer for the cars on the showroom floor to remove fingerprints from customers and salespeople and generally just to keep the exteriors clean and shiny. It acts as a nice polisher for stainless steel and chrome. Gotta love multi purpose!
@@bushra8235 it’s so funny you said that, I actually meant to say that as well and totally forgot! On tall or XL windows or mirrors I’ll use a wet rag with the Sprayway and then squeegee it all off and it’s spotless!
I think the Chomchom works better if you move it back and forth quickly in the section you're working on... At least that what I've experienced and what the instructional video suggests
I have used sprayway for literally YEARS and LOVE IT! I have never found anything that worked as good and that includes industrial cleaners(i was a custodian for years in my early 20's). I was a manager in retail and i would actually use my own money to by sprayway for our front windows.
Try Downy Wrinkle Release Rachel!!! It smells AMAZING and works great and really affordable!!! Ilyssm!! Sending love to you and your family from Ohio!!!! 💖💖💖
I swear by the Chom Chom. Every pet owner should have one! Picks up so much fur and doesn't use any paper sheets. Not good for all surfaces, but works great on our couch and chairs.
For the dish soap, it is usually recommended for stains (not for whitening). You usually put it directly on the stain and scrub a little bit and then get it on the washing machine with the rest off the clothes (with laudry detergent like you normally would). It is best for fresh stains, but we have used it even for wine stains and it works
I got the Sprayway glass cleaner, all purpose cleaner, and the stainless steel cleaner at Walmart yesterday. The upside is that all of the glass and mirrors in the house are clean, fingerprint, dog nose print, and streak free. The downside is that my hubby says that the house now smells like the urinal cakes in a men’s public restroom. 🤪 Perhaps there is an unscented version that I missed? I’m surprised you didn’t mention it, Rach. It is a very strong smell!
I made the same mistake with the shaving cream. I took me 3 towels to clean it, but it worked. Kitchen rubber gloves are the best for cat/pet/human hair. I tried so many lint rollers but gloves are the easiest and the fastest.
I live in the USA and that glass cleaner is easy to find at all of my local stores in my area. It is a STAPLE in my home!! It is very good! Also I detail vehicles for a living and that is the only glass cleaner I use.
Can confirm, Sprayway is the best! Thats the glass cleaner my sister in law uses exclusively for her cleaning company and she has used it for years. I love it too lol
your dedication in building these videos enchants me! thank you so much for delivering the best to your followers. God bless you and your family 🙏 a big kiss from Brazil 😘👍👍👍👍🙌.
I LOVE THE SCRUB MOMMY! And it hold up compared to the rectangle sponges from the same company. There isn’t much wear on the soft side, but I do tend to use the rough side more.
Spray away is legit the best and so affordable!!! My only gripe is the scent! So strong. But I’ll hold my breath…cause it’s amazing, streak free and a little goes a long way. Even my son was watching this with me and said “Rach! No! That’s too much!!”
The dawn dish soap - I have experience with this! My husband is a mechanic, and his clothes are regularly covered in diesel, oil, and transmission fluid. Whenever I wash his clothes, I just swirl maybe 1/2 cup of dawn into the washer on top of the clothes (top loading washer, I just swirl it around the agitator on top of the clothes). It WORKS and it's never given me any catastrophic sudsing issues!
Tip for cleaning mirrors: sprinkle some water on the mirror, grab a clean cloth and wipe. No soap, no streaks. Always worked for me, learned this in housekeeping. :D
I love that mirror/ glass cleaner I use it every time I clean my mirrors and windows. I use it because Windex gives me an allergic reaction so when I learned about the foam one it really shocked me with how great it cleans.
I’m a truck driver and have to clean my windshield, mirrors, and side windows a LOT. I use that glass cleaner that’s first in this video. I agree … it is the BEST glass cleaner, ever!
Sprayway is great for taking off sticky substances too. Like after you remove a price sticker from a frame or some thing and the ones that leave a sticky residue… That stuff will take it off in a flash
When I worked at Home Depot, I was always restocking the Sprayway on the shelf. The older ladies always told me it’s the best too while I was stocking it as they took three bottles for themselves. They also pointed me to the Wet n Forget shower cleaner.
Little tip for 'crease release spray', use the Downy wrinkle release spray instead, way cheaper and works perfectly! Have not used an iron in years :) had a steamer for a while but didn't feel like it did anything more than the spray does. Just more natural I suppose, but in terms of effect, the downy spray is the cheapest, quickest and easiest. Method: hang clothing item on hanger, hold it by the hanger, spray from about 1 foot away on front and back, then shake clothing item out and flatten the surface with your hand, as if you were cleaning a rug kind of, repeat the spraying if needed. I have also had on a maxi dress or skirt that needed a fix and just sprayed it on as I was wearing it and flattened it out a bit, works perfectly :)
We have two cats and a dog and swear by the ChomChom - it's the best! Our Dyson is a very expensive version when it comes to removing pet fur from the sofas :D
My grandfather owned and operated a windows and glass company until he died in 1999 when my uncle then took over the family business. He SWORE by that specific glass cleaner and carried it in store. It’s all my mom would use when I was growing up and I’m certain she still uses it to this day! It’s the best on the market!
You know you’ve peaked as an adult when you’re excited to watch a video about cleaning hacks. Unfortunately my 1 year is sick right now so I will have to test these later. But yay!
I’ve got a great tip for keeping white towel white! Buy colored ones!! 😂🤣 And Downy Wrinkle Release is the best! It’s been around forever. The scent goes away too even though I like the smell of Downy.
I switched to sprayway last year and I can say I definitely prefer the foam to regular glass cleaner, it doesn't get everywhere when you spray it and it stays and doesn't drip down while you're using it
I never feel the need to comment but just want to say that seeing the bottle of Sprayway unlocked a memory!😂That stuff was like GOLD when I was a housekeeper, it is MAGICAL
For the towels - just add 1/4c white vinegar to the towel load. Bright floofy towels every time. For whites, add a sprinkle of baking soda. Along with laundry soap, of course. Also works for stinky clothes- kills that bacteria fast.
I don’t think you used enough of the Dawn. I mean don’t go crazy with it. But what I do, is after I soak my sheets, I just squirt a bunch on a small white rag and throw it in with regular detergent and fabric softener. You might not notice a huge difference the first time, but trust me it works!! And it doesn’t really work on stuff that’s already been bleached cause it then the yellowness from the bleach doesn’t really go away. KEEP TRYING IT!!
We need to know what happened with the fogged glass.
It does work! less product tho and buff it in
can confirm it works
The Chom Chom is my FAVORITE! You are supposed to go back-and-forth with it though to get the optimal results. I use it on my patio furniture all the time because my Pomeranian likes to follow me everywhere.
Tip: Go back and forth with the Chom Chom, instead of dragging it one direction, to pick up every last pet hair
Was just going to suggest the moving back and forth rather than one direction
YES! I have a dog that sheds like crazy and this thing works! Back and forth is best, not just one direction so it can trap the fur!
My lab sheds constantly and the Chom Chom saves my sofa daily. Back and forth is definitely the way to go.
Came here to say this! If you have dogs and cats YOU KNOW how amazing this tool is. I clean my couch, pet beds and cat tower.

The Laundress signature scent is amazing. And all of their products are amazing.
You’re so weird. It smells nothing like grandpa or starchy. So annoying
YOUR SKIN LOOKS SO GOOD we need a new skincare/face makeup video!!! 😫👌🔥
I've found that regardless of the cleaning product, Newspaper for wiping mirrors and glass surfaces works the best 👌
