My lungs can't handle many cleaning products. I cleaned houses for many years and some insisted on certain products that are so hard on the lungs, and for me Kaboom is the worst. Now I mix vinegar and water and that's all I'll use on tubs and sinks and it even bothers me after awhile. Be careful with strong chemicals ladies. By the time you show signs of lung problems, it's too late. Take precautions for yourself and your pets. I love your cleaning videos!!
Rachel I just wanted to say thank you. I have suffered with crippling anxiety the past few months, but have been faithfully watching your videos and they have helped me tremendously. I appreciate how transparent and down to earth you are, and you are so kind and appreciative of your viewers. You make me feel like I can do this. You explain things step by step and so well. I really appreciate that. I can't tell you how many other channels I have tuned into whether its cleaning your home, or on minimalism but none have motivated me like you do. I have tried out so many of your methods and they work so well. My anxiety is diminishing, and I am regaining confidence as I am taking back control of my home. I have tried out your special recipes for the holidays, and they were a big hit with my kids. You are helping me to be a better wife and mom, and I can't thank you enough. Keep being you:)
For the disposal try big ol squirts of dawn dish soap pack the disposal with ice cubes mine took 1 & 1/2 trays and run the faucet with a trickle of cool water...I tried it last week man it was disgusting! Lol looked and smelled like sour milk but I will do this weekly from now on! 🤣
Thank u for this. It's nice to see a real person, doing the work and trying out the products. I enjoy cleaning so much and it brings me peace to see a clean house. This was great to see and I liked your tips! Now, I am going to buy a couple of those items for my home.
Thanks for pointing out the smell of the regular Dawn Powerwash is horrible and that the Free and Clear isn't! I haven't been able to understand the hype because I hate using the regular version due to the smell.
I switched the the 9 elements version of the powerwash because of the smell. I got one that from dawn that I thought was fragrance free but it ended up having a pear scent that I was not a fan of either 🤦🏾♀️
@@RachPlusFive I had used Dawn Powerwash for years and switched to 9 Elements because I like the lemon scent better for dishes. It has vinegar in it but you can’t smell it, and for the dishes, sink scrubbing, stovetop, etc. I feel it works just as well as Dawn. 🍋🍋
Thanks for a great video! Folex has been around a long time. My parents used it for years (I’m 58). They swore by it. I appreciate the thoroughness you do with your reviews. Keep up the good work!
Hi Rachel. In the uk, wet & forget is marketed to keep algae and moss at bay. So an outdoor product. People spray their planters and patios to get rid of the green discoloured staining. It does work too. Didn’t know and haven’t seen the indoor one! Really enjoyed this video, and thanks ❤
Thank you for sharing the idea of cleaning walls with the pink stuff. I just went around and cleaned most of the stuff, kids paint and crayon marks off the walls all with minimal effort

Great video! I use vinegar and water/baking soda for most of my surface cleaning. Sometimes dawn or pine sol, depending on what I’m cleaning. I do want to get some power wash after seeing this video! I thought it was just regular dawn with a foaming sprayer, but it seems like it’s actually a stronger formula. Side note, your pup chasing the mop made my day. Lol. What a cutie.

Have you tried making Dawn power wash yourself? I see lots of recipes for it, but don't know if it really works. Love your channel and your testing videos. Keep up the good work!🤩
Great tips! Did you know that you don’t need a blade for the tough cleanup on your electric flat top? You already have the magical stuff for it! I have the same range and the pink stuff, plus a scrub daddy, or even just a regular scrubber sponge, takes off that hard crust like magic! Also, for the sink drain…No “special” product needed! Just 1/2 cup of baking soda in the drain, top it with a cup of ice and last add white vinegar. Start the disposal! Loved your video and I totally forgot about my little red power scrubber. I’m taking that thing out tomorrow!
Ive been planning on getting one of those mops i also use dawn for almost everything in my house grease stained clothes water it doen and you have hand soap etc

I got the ChomChom because of your video and it is AWESOME!!! Thank you for all of these tests, I really appreciate them. I'm getting the grout scrubber tomorrow and will be doing one million billion tiles, lol. Thanks again. xoxo
Definitely will be trying some of these! I already have and love Folex, Scrub Mommy, and Chom Chom. Bought the Powerwash but still need to try it out. I’ve been very curious to try the Pink Stuff. I had really difficult grout at my last house and had amazing luck using a Bissell steam mop that came with a crevice attachment. It was definitely the fastest way to clean the grout and didn’t require much effort. It also didn’t use any cleaning solution, just distilled water. Definitely recommend it to anyone with tile!
Thank you. 😊 I’m always adjusting whatever cleaning solutions I’m using. When I use the tide pod… it’s the pod, hot water, and sometimes I’ll splash in a little bleach or a multisurface cleaner that is antibacterial.
Hello there!I have been using that shower spray for a few years now.I really love it. 1st of all there is way more tubing inside the spray nozzle so pull a bunch out it's easier to spray,. Secondly there's 2 spray settings narrow and wide.Make sure that you use the wide and back up a little bit and then you will not have that streaking.
I’m sure you’ve addressed this before but what brand is that scrubber with handle you used in the tub? It looks like it also had holes to to attach a cloth on it. Love these videos! Thanks for sharing!
I love the new O Cedar Bucket. I don't like putting my mophead back into dirty water. And i wash my mophead after every floor cleaning. What about it don't you like?
I did like the clean water spot but you’re still dipping into the clean water, wiping the floor, getting the mop head dirty, and then dipping back into the clean water. To me, that water is no longer clean at that point. It’s still better than dipping straight into the dirty water but I just didn’t enjoy the setup. Everyone has their own preferences though. 😊 And I wash my mop head after each use too. 🙂
Maybe scoop a little of the pink stuff with a spatula or knife but I've seen people doing stove and then cleaning bathroom it's disgusting. I hope they are switching stuff out or have two containers 😆 lol
I put blue dawn and water in a spray bottle and use it on dishes before putting in dishwasher… I also have a spray bottle of blue dawn, white vinegar and hot water to clean bath tub, showers, shower doors.. Looks brand new!

It stayed on her floor for three months. She found out about Pink Stuff . So she decided to use it on the larger fingernail polish spot. She said it was amazing. It all came up and didn’t seem to have tile

It's torture...sorry for rambling. My point was yay I'm gonna feel better for a sec 🤍
I’m so sorry! It’s always so hard handle that situation. I still miss my dog that passed years ago. It’s so wonderful though that you run a rescue and help so many cats! 😊
My German shepherd puppy would always chase the pop and try to attack it when I would mop she finally has gotten out of that but she likes to be right with me when I mop.
Gel toilet bowl cleaner squirt on shower floors and walls scrub in let sit five to ten minutes careful slippery and strong ! Then rinse cleans great !!
Toilet bowl clean does work great for cleaning tubs/showers BUT people have to remember to scrub it in well or it will leave lines that are hard to remove. 😊
Bath tubs are so tricky. They sell a no scrub shower and tub spray (I’ll have to look up the name) and you use it daily. After about a week, you should see results with weekly normal scrubbings. Also, have you tried toilet bowl cleaner? It works great BUT you have to scrub it in immediately or it will leave lines very visible.
It does not scratch glass. You can also use it to remove those pesky stickers on glass items that you purchase! Takes them right off leaving no scratches. We live in Southeast Texas where we are bombarded with the nasty black ( love bugs) as we call them every year starting in August. If not removed, they will eat the paint off of the front bumper/ grill area of your vehicle! I use the scrub daddy to clean these bugs off every season & the sponge has never messed up my paint nor left scratches. I love Scrub Daddy. They also make a scrub mommy as well.😂 QVC will offer really good deals on them from time to time. I usually purchase mine at Walmart or Target. Hope that this helps. 👍
Hopefully you and any new viewers will see my comment regardless of the age of this video. Try the dollar tree version of those dishwasher packets! EVERY SINGLE ONE I've used has produced the blue foam!
Hi. I just tried this product yesterday for a video going up this week. I still didn’t get any foam up into the sink but I did see the foam in the disposal so I’m happy. 😊
@@RachPlusFive Awesome! Divine timing at its finest 💜. I've only had 1 packet result in the foam passing the edge of the drain into the sink but all of them have at least passed the rubber guard. I'm curious about why yours doesn't want to give you the same satisfaction of seeing that foam.... Different disposals, elevation level, or maybe humidity? Unimportant but interesting nonetheless lol
I have not had any issues with that garbage disposal cleaner. It’s always worked great for me. I’ve used it for years. My streaming water is a bit heavier than yours was. 😊
Hi Rachel !! I don't have much time to blab, but wanted to congratulate you on what an Awesome job you did on the shelving units on your master closet. Wow, i'm impressed !! Thank you so much for all of your no nonsense advice, instructions, tips and not to mention those adorable pets of yours. We had a cat named Smokey who looks identical to your Valeria. Your dogs totally crack me up, especially Mako. I look so foreward to your videos. I love that you are not stuck up (even though you are gorgeous) and you are just as real as real can get and I know that everybody appreciates it. Happy Springtime and will see you soon!!!
I have a spot on my wall from my extremely happy dog and his always wagging tail because he stands in front of the cabinet when he is eating breakfast. I’m going to go get some tide and power wash right now. I’ll let you know how it works.

It's torture...sorry for rambling. My point was yay I'm gonna feel better for a sec 🤍
I’m so sorry! It’s always so hard handle that situation. I still miss my dog that passed years ago. It’s so wonderful though that you run a rescue and help so many cats! 😊
When I tell you my jaw dropped with that folex cleaner!!!!!!
It’s such a great product! 😊
Get that mop Mako!!! Get it baby!!! Attack!!! Protect that floor from that cloth that cleans your paw art!!!
Hahaha he’s such a nut.
@@RachPlusFive but but but....how DARE you clean his paw art!!! It's a Makoasso!!!! Or his nose art!!! For shame Rach!!!
My German shepherd puppy would always chase the pop and try to attack it when I would mop she finally has gotten out of that but she likes to be right with me when I mop.
That’s adorable. I love when he does it. It makes mopping take longer but I love that he actually plays because our older dog doesn’t play anymore.
I need to know how to get the rustic look off my bath tub my son he works in a engineering and I’ve tryed everything and still hasn’t removed it
Bath tubs are so tricky.
The only thing I don’t like about the Ocedqr is that it seems to scrap the floor not sure if it’s me or if it’s not enough fluff on the mop
I’ve only noticed that when I haven’t changed my mop head in a while…. 🤷🏼♀️
Mako leaving his mark everywhere lol
Kaboom is already a heavy cleaner. I can't imagine the smell from the heavy duty version 😳
I love Folex. What a great cleaner! 😍
The Kaboom is ridiculously strong. Not sure it’s worth it.
The Folex is such an amazing product. 😊
Does the scrub daddy scratch electric stoves?
I’ve never seen a scratch 😊
I returned my broom for hair. It was just way too much work.
❤❤❤
💜
I've been staying away from the pink stuff I don't like the double dipping idea or dunking a dirty sponge in it as I've seen UA-cam do
I try to not double dip and use my finger or something else to get the product out. I wish they made it in a squeeze tube. 😊
I have not had any issues with that garbage disposal cleaner. It’s always worked great for me. I’ve used it for years. My streaming water is a bit heavier than yours was. 😊
I’ll try heavier next time, thank you. 😊
@@RachPlusFive you’re welcome. Thank you for the great videos.
Dollar Tree now carries a rubber broom attachment. I’m curious how that compares to the one you have.
I’ll have to look for that on my next trip there
Hi Rachel !!
Thank you so much! 😊
TSP is easy to clean walls.
I feel like as far as that sticky stuff goes, nothing beats a microfiber cloth and some multipurpose spray. I thought it was a little gimmicky
I think the Dawn power wash is very expensive
Did you know you can pull the rubber garbage disposal cover out and clean underneath? I just learned, it was sooooo gross!
Mine doesn’t come out. I’ve tried so many times. I wish it did though. 😊
I can on my new disposal. My old one you couldn't.
I love to buff my sink dry with a microfiber cloth after cleaning.
I’ve done this but it never fails that as soon as I do, one of my kids will throw something in the sink. 🤦🏼♀️
I have a spot on my wall from my extremely happy dog and his always wagging tail because he stands in front of the cabinet when he is eating breakfast. I’m going to go get some tide and power wash right now. I’ll let you know how it works.
Hunter leaves marks all over my walls and that mixture works well for us. 😊
@@RachPlusFive I went to the hardware store and they wanted $25 for a box of Tide!!! I said hell with that! I went to the grocery store that is connected and it was $16!! I mixed up the concoction, scrubbed the wall and WOW!!!!! It REALLY WORKED!!! Worked on his other spot too! Thank you for your experimentations! LOL
I’m so glad it worked for you!! 😊
