I think you can get basic soy sauce and some honey and then try to redo the same thing with those instead. It won't be as tasty but it will still have a tasty feel to it.

The cold oil on hot pan tip is amazing. Saw it in this video then tried it on my stainless steel pans and OMGs no sticking. It's little things like this that help me up my cooking game every day.
Also, making this recipe tonight. Got everything but corn starch, some veggies and cooking wine.

Master chef John shines with the calmness he exudes. In his videos the food is in the foreground unlike in most other cooking shows where the cook takes center stage and waffles on and on. I not only watch John's beautifully made videos to become a better cook but also to calm down. My favorite Asian food channel by far. You deserve many more subscribers.

Amazing cooking chef John. I cannot wait to cook this masterpiece. I can not find mirin or shaoxing wine where I live so I use dry red wine with a pinch of salt for shaoxing wine and dry red wine with a pinch of salt and sugar for mirin.

It's a stove top design that connects the stove area to the faucet and sink area. If you notice, there's a shallow amount of water that's constantly running around the fired up wok when he's cooking.

In Malaysia there is a food name nasi goreng ayam. Which translated from Malay to English is chicken Fried Rice . The chicken is fried like a kfc chicken and the rice is fried with chillies .

The cooking station chef used is a pro burner which generates lots of heat during cooking. The water helps to prevent the cooktop from overheating. Without it, the cooktop is hotter than boiling point. The water is recyclable; not wasted.
Work in the restaurant so you know the reason why the tap water is on...you are not a chef so shut up..
