Great information with all the moves I hoped to find for my mom. I just wish that this was a follow along with the full counts so she could do it while watching without having to stop and pause and restart the video for each move to do the full 15 rep set.

My dad is 90 . He had been sick with 2 UTI’s then a bout of Covid. spent a week in the hospital, then was moved to a rehabilitation facility. The doctor from the hospital gave instructions to the rehab facility that my dad is to get up and walk every day and walk to the toilet. This is more than his baseline was before he had became extremely ill. In the past when he’s had these episodes, his cardiologist has recommended that he go very slowly. This would mean that he would start with exercises in the bed.
Any new Doctor, Hospital or care facility tends to not believe me that he cannot be pushed until they see him pass out. His blood pressure will drop from the 190/50 down to 80/ 40 in a matter of seconds. He will often blackout with zero to no warning. If he falls and hit his head, that means a trip to the hospital to have a CT scan to be sure that he doesn’t have a brain bleed. He’s 90 years old and his cardiologist has said that his blood pressure just can’t be regulated by his body anymore, the doctor said that it’s a 50/50 chance that he can have a stroke without blood thinners or take blood thinners and risk, taking a fall and having a brain bleed.
We have been in this situation several times with long hospital states. Doctors, nurses and facilities tend to not believe me, and want to push him to get up and walk with assistance. They will take him to the toilet even though I’ve asked for a bed pan. A few years ago he was in the hospital and fell off of the toilet and hit his head pretty significantly.
I love your videos, especially the ones that are teaching physical therapy in bed. Rehab center said today that they cannot do physical therapy the way I am asking when the hospitalist said that he needs to get up.
He was living with my daughter for a couple of years but this summer we moved him in with me because he is needing more help at times. He is in an electric wheelchair where buckles in and is fairly independent while in the chair. Before this last hospital visit, he could transfer from his chair to his bed or recliner on his own but that is difficult right now.
Help! Do I pull him out of the rehab facility and just try to do it all on my own?
Sorry I’m so long winded 🙄

I had to come to youtube to get exercises for my legs, as my Dr. didn't care enough to get me therapy.
