- Introducing our BRAND NEW Blackout Window Storage Ver. 2.0 for 4 Door JK and Jeep Wranger JL 4 door. We've lowered the price on these and included black textured powder coat with black stainless steel hardware. These aluminum window replacement mounts allow you to securely run your choice of 2 gallon Water, Storage or Fuel Rotopax packs conveniently on your hardtop. We've designed these with cutouts, which allows you to run our Rigid Flush Mount Light Upgrade. If you choose to opt out of the light upgrade, the kit comes with covers enabling you to cover and seal the cutouts.
Blackout Window Storage now comes powder coated black with black stainless steel hardware.
We no longer make the Blackout for 2 door Jeeps.

Really like that you guys did this in aluminum and love the lights!
Next up: Remove your front windshield to hold even more rotopax.
Quit being a hater.
lmao
Little People for the win! Cool vid man
That is pretty awesome. Good install video too. And apparently some people in the comments section have never driven a cargo van or a motorhome or a cube van.
You guys should make this for the one touch sky roof. I have no idea why no one just makes some cool panels that literally pop right in like the factory ones only on the one touch sky roof rear quarter window panels.
I don’t understand. This is made for a Rotopax, why not make it come with the holes already drilled instead of making the customer do that?
I thought the same thing.
Umm....yeah.... I think I'm good with the whole "time to black out your blind spot visibility" idea.
You can't fit that little water tank in the Jeep?
phuc ewe I hold chicken broth in mine 👌🏽
I'm all about mods and customising my jeep but this seems odd to me.
I am making the exact same thing for my 08 Jk, what gauge thickness is the aluminum? For the interior view of this product I’m going to add a nether piece of aluminum and cut out slots for cargo bags so the space is not waisted. Would appreciate any comments or concerns. Thanks
Anyone know of a similar product that provides storage for something more useful than the rotopax? I'm thinking something with a sturdy fold-down shelf to hold a camp stove and a shallow storage area for storage for spices, condiments, and cooking utensils. I don't mind blocking the driver-side window. I can't see out of it anyway.
How easy is it to reverse and put the window back in if you decide later on?
Looks like you removed the original rubber weather strip trim under the glass before you started. Why did you do that?
Why are they back up lights when they are not in the rear
What kind of rain guards are those?
What size tires and lift are on that jeep
Update: I got my blackout kit for my jku and the holes are pre-cut.
Does this fit the Sky One Touch Roof?
Is this here anything like this for the jl 4 door yet
Do you have a kit for the 2007 jk 4 door
what rear bumper is that?
Awesome idea. Wish there was one for 4Runners.
I hear yah. I would like that on my 4runner.
And did you realize in your final shot the Rotopax container was in the holder incorrectly? there is a corner knock out in the black our kit, and there is a corner off in the Rotopax bottle, the corners are supposed to align up...
Needs an optional turret for an M60 machine gun and armor package, then we'll talk.
''MERICA!!!!
Looks good from the outside but needs a cover on the inside, this could also be functional.
I don't know why jeep doesn't make sliding rear windows
theres no where for them to slide
@@sunnychan2193 that's dumb, Ursa minor has an option on there aftermarket tops that slides, so jeep can make them slide in a similar fashion
I wish you would bring the 2 door jk version back
I wish 2 door owners would have bought them.
@@RebelOffRoadTV you and me both brother
Can us 2 door owners get them custom made again :)
Damn this looks good !
As if seeing out the tank slots of my Jeep isn't hard enough..
I would take a little bit of black paint and paint over where you drilled since now you have bare metal exposed and subject to corrosion.
it's aluminum
Aluminum doesn't contain iron or steel so it doesn't rust - but it is prone to corrosion when exposed to weathering and atmospheric oxygen. The process of aluminum corrosion is known as oxidation. Caveman Outdoors
Nice video! I don't understand why stuff like this is legal but there are laws limiting how dark window tint can be. Can't see out of this, but you can see through limo tint
Michael19k ??? yes in the front windows not rear. that is just as saying how do 18 wheelers see behind them if there are no windows on the trailer?
It's trickier to put them in the drivers door window.
Seems easy to break into or steal. Just unscrew panel and pull.
Same thing as braking your window 🤷🏽♂️.
So this is only compatible with a two door, not a four door wrangler?
Hi Scott thanks for the reply. I'd really like to order a set for my four door wrangler, but unfortunately I'm in Australia. Is there some way I can order a set? Where can I find them?
black screws would look better IMO
Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice
You forgot to show the led install!
Cool idea...
do you make the loaded kit for a tj?
You should change the design so that you don't have to drill the hard top. Clamp the frame like a beadlock instead. Just my two cents.
Do you offer the loaded kit for 4dr jk?
it is exactly the same
Ethan Semelsberger not at all
There must be a group of specific enthusiasts who already understand what this is for, but I'm not one of them. Can you explain why anyone would want this, or perhaps what type of person would want this? I'm very curious. Thanks.
I THINK it is for Overlanders who what to over-engineer their jeeps.
Why are the mounting screws silver? Blackout!?
We actually now have them in black.
RebelOffRoadLLC . Great! So how much extra does it cost to make your “black-out” actually blacked-out?
Not only all that money for a "blackout" set up but stainless screws for a "blackout" kit? For that money you couldn't include blackout hardware too so that it doesn't look stupid?
Would really love it if you made this for the TJ
Yes the unlimited version.
You demonstrate on a 2 door jeep but don’t sell for 2 door jeeps
$1,500...........do I look like a joke to you?
Casey Dman Probably because they knew they were only going to sell five of them
Woah! So it’s only $1,500.00 to lose the majority of my visibility, drill my own holes to add the pack it’s designed to hold, and since there is no cover for the interior, I get the luxury of seeing ugly exposed wiring, AND if I ever take it off road again I’ll get sued because my rear seat passengers will fracture their skulls on those sharp exposed 90 degree edges where the roto-pack goes? I’ll take a hard pass! (Get it? Hard pass, as in hard like the hard edges of the interior recess where my passenger’s will fracture their skulls?)
@danandsamk Well, I’d agree, we’re it not for the fact that not only do I have a 2d, but the install demo video, is on a 2d. So they fully expect this to be appropriate for installation on a 2d. Also, why on earth would you NOT pick a 2d for long excursions? There are a plethora of products designed to fit 2d Jeep’s that allow sleeping in the back. Also, you can ALWAYS toss a tent and gear in the back. Now would I go on a extended excursion with 4 adults in a 2d Jeep? Hell no! There is not enough room for the seat and all the equipment needed for an extended trip. But the 2d is way more stable off-road due to the shorter wheel base, and is perfect for long off-road excursions with 1 or 2 adults. But once THIS RIDICULOUS THING is in, there is no way to safely carry rear passengers! As I aforementioned regarding the sharp edges which could cause injury on bumpy terrain! Another thing to contemplate is how much fuel do those skinny “packs” hold. 1? 2? A large proper 5gal Jerrycan seems better, and is WAAAY cheaper. But it seems to me, if you headed out w/ 18 gals of fuel, and ran out… How much help will 5gals be in getting home? Sure, it’s better than nothing, but a well planned trip should leave you on your way home w/ plenty of fuel left anyway! Not to mention the massive loss of visibility! They should call it the “Blind Spot Extender (w/useless “SRQ backup lights ON THE SIDE)” he does call them SRQ backup lights! At 4:20!
So, we can diy the install but not removing the window???????? Seriously, not much saving for the diy guy.
Look mom, I just just turned my jeep gay.
You are not a serious off road person are you .
The two bulbous lights just make it look like 80s RV. 490 insanely over priced
That video sucked. No wiring of lights. The fasteners look like crap. They should use a proprietary fastener to avoid break in. Overall, would not buy this for my jeep.
