Bro spoke for the peasants, as much as people shit on the ecoboost, I'll be damned if I buy a car before a place to live. Gimme the ecoboost review lol
It was the deal breaker for me After 4 Gt's 3 with the performance pack, wasn't happening with the 99 model I had. I just couldn't get past the dash. Everything else was good I had a 2015 EcoBoost P/P. which was same color combo, and interior. It was different, but it grew on me, to where I would have happy to find another one. I bought a 24 Camaro SS with NPP exhaust, Mag ride, Recaros, Summit white with black leather interior. Only downer was the wheels. Ugly but the ride and sound are just as nice. Also didn't go 6 speed. Hard to find at this point with no production. But the auto works great. Hey, it was almost $9,000 cheaper. New wheels down the road won't be a big deal. If I could make up my mind on a set that fit the car without weird back spacing, and no concentric rings. May go 1LE.
For a budget, it would definitely be better than the Dark Horse. I personally like the Dark Horse better, but the GT Performance Bronze Package would be the best for a budget Dark Horse!
currently trying to decide between a GT premium with perf package, and an entry level Dark Horse. I do like the look of the dark horse better, and it has that extra 20 hp. Dark horse I am going to look at has same suspension as the GT perf package. Im not really a "leather" (vinyl, sorry I worked in an automotive seat manufacturer, most that claim to be leather seats are actually vinyl)) seat guy, GT premium has that, the dark horse has the indigo blue cloth which I like more. Same price between the 2. Both automatics. Premium has a few more goodies than the dark horse has seeing that the dark horse I am looking at is not a premium, cant afford that. This will be my daily driver. Big day for me, just have to visit 2 different dealerships. Always fun getting two dealerships fighting for a sale lol.
I love all muscles cars. Nothing like a sound of a V8 but the mustang for me always have and always will have a special place in my heart. Thank you again Raiti for another awesome video. Next time I’ll enjoy watching with a twinkle 😁
These Mustangs are growing on me, but I still don't care for the tail panel and I still hate the dash. The bronze package on the white is pretty amazing. I still can't get over the price. I paid under $40k OTD for my 2019 Challenger 392 T/A in late 2019 brand new. Times sure have changed in 5 years.
How the Florida Sun shines so brightly on this Mustang with the bronze wheels and I agree it needs quad tip exhaust for it helps accent the exterior. Joe, Steven, and Lori thank you as always!
Not only is the performance exhaust louder but it sounds better too. It’s tighter and more focused. The non Active Exhaust is way raspier. The Active Exhaust is louder yes, but more importantly, it’s much more refined and tight. I had a 19’ GT PP2 with AE and a 21’ GT PP1 premium 401A without AE and the non AE is just not as refined. The Active Exhaust is mandate. An absolute must…
Joe, I am at the 8 decade mark driving a Charger. That Mustang is really COOL but I don't know if my reflexes are as quick as yours especially when that truck pulled out in front of you. The standard GT might be on my "Bucket" list. As always you do a great review. Not once did you mention the damn Twinkies. Keep up the good work.😎
@@BigTimeRushFan2112 I disagree. I have a 2019 Mustang GT Premium with the Performance Pack 1 and it has the digital gauge cluster and it's as clear and sharp as it was when I bought the car new. My GT Performance Pack is also Oxford White. I had the mirror caps and spoiler painted gloss black and it was enough to break up the white and give it a more aggressive look. Roof is an option as well but I didn’t want to overdo it.
Agree on the quad tips. And Magneride...man, I can't go back. Last 2 Mustangs I've owned have it, and it's an absolute game changer. Well worth the extra cost.

I was sold on the GT w/Performance. Was ready to fly from Colorado to Baltimore to pick one up. Dealership in Baltimore wouldn’t let the car sit until I could get there. Went to the grocery store on a Saturday and came home with a DH that had been on the lot for 143 days. I appreciate having the DH but the GT would’ve been good.
I love my 24 gt . The dark horse I drove was actually way better in every way . The GT is still a beast and with some getting use too , you can drive this machine through the canons or curves like a peace of cake . Def recommend active exhaust , it’s what adds the personality to the GT.

I wish that they made the heat extractor the same color as the car body. The bronze wheels aren't the greatest, but they're okay. I would like quad tips, too.
I'd rather have full length, bronze stripes, than painted roof. Some profile, GT/Pony decals (nothin crazy), also. Shadow Black and Racer Red look great, with the bronze package.
Hey Joe top review as usual. Don’t hear you talk much about Lori these days-I hope she is well. Actually I might give her a call early next week and catch up for a coffee.
I liked all your comments and additions that they should have made to the vehicle and I think you should add that they should have put a little of that bronze here and there on the inside.
There is more to the DH than just the GT PP. For starters, various internal engine components in the DH Coyote are forged, which means they'll handle FI better than the GT Coyote. Also, the manual transmission in the GT is a MT82 Getrag (built in China), while the DH has the Tremec TR 3160 (built in Michigan) - the latter being a far better transmission.
V8 and RWD are what a traditional muscle car needs. Now all Ford needs is a 4-door variant (which they recently announced the possibility of) to compete with the new Charger and the Mustang will definitely win because the former is either I6 or electric with AWD only whereas the latter has a V8 and is RWD only. Also, back in 2007, Ford released a concept full-size 4-door sedan called the Interceptor and it used the same platform as all Mustangs since 2004, albeit slightly lengthened which means Ford already has the correct platform for a 4-door variant and it may be full-size due to the Interceptor concept on the same platform being so. This means for the 4-door variant, the GT can become a police car and the EcoBoost can become a taxi due to space inside. While muscle cars are traditionally a 2-door coupe, they can also be a 4-door sedan for those who want room for the family whilst retaining performance.
Great review, Joe! I love how you get so much pleasure out of driving these Mustangs and bringing them to us at home. Well, that is until that jacka$$ pulled out in front or you! Keep em coming, brother!
OK, CORRECTION. As a 2024 Mustang GT, 10 speed auto, Premium Grabber Blue Metallic Performance Pack owner, the front lower drivers side vent is open and a small oil cooler /radiator is there but yes the passenger side front lower vent is closed. Yes, the 10 speed has been tweaked and wow, it performs a whole lot better and keeps the car in the RPM band where it should be!! As far as it being cpmpared to the Dark Horse, I had this same conversation with the salesman. With all of the options maxed out (including the active exhaust (which gives you the extra 6hp) and choosing the performance pack, the only difference between a GT PP1 and the Dark Horse is the horsepower and the body alterations and I saved myself 10 grand! Hell, if you want to beat up a dark horse, take that 10 grand, buy a supercharger and find yourself a Dark Horse owner to piss off in a heartbeat!! Raiti, if you want to see it for yourself, I live in Orlando, Fl. we can meet up somewhere.
With the GT, you need quad tips. No question.

100%.
No because most will change the exhaust anyway
I agree with u. Quad tips will always look better on most cars
I bought it without cut the valance with a template and installed a quad tip. Literally paid for half my corsa catback lol😅😅
Performance pack does not add the 6hp, the quad active exhaust does. So this car has 480hp
Thanks for the heads up!
Absolutely correct.
From China In China, 5.0 is only a dark horse. 2.3 is the highest configuration. Four exhausts are not optional.
Active exhaust is a must on this car

Both are great cars, it's a matter of budget.
This is super true
I'm just glad both are available!
Me I would have the black roof, I would have black wheels and the spoiler black. And yes the quad exhaust.
Add the black lug nuts too
Still gorgeous after all these years.❤
Yessir I gad the 97, big body 5.0 GT. Dual's, power 17 inch wide tires.in love.
Looks like the one I have. Performance pack, bronze pack, active exhaust, magnaride.
You did it right!
I like Mustangs better than Camaros, they sound so good, definitely better than the Camaro’s pushrod V8 engines.
I’m so glad that you are digging this Stang!
I like the looks of the GT way better than the dark horse. I can’t deal with that plastic under the headlights of the dark horse!
Joe, what do you think of the 2024 Shelby Super Snake?
I am in love with it!
i love your videos man. Keep up the good work ❤
I don’t care what anyone says i am a huge fan of ford
That looks sweet the gold wheels are awesome!
Awesome machine. Great review, Joe! When do you think you will do a review on the 2024 Ranger Raptor 3.0 turbo v6?
Only reason I can see not ordering the performance exhaust is if you’re gonna go for an after market exhaust. So hopefully that’s what it is
This is so very true
Great review, Joe! I love how you get so much pleasure out of driving these Mustangs and bringing them to us at home. Well, that is until that jacka$$ pulled out in front or you! Keep em coming, brother!
The back looks like the 05 , melted ❤❤❤❤
That was a good video, Joe. Happy Memorial Day to you and your family.
Want to see you do one with the Whipple Supercharger
I'm sure he would of loved to explain all that as we all fell asleep...cmon man relax
@@brianfeeney3936 not knocking him at all. Just responding to other comments
beautiful sound
Music to my ears!
@@RaitisRides Formula 1 used to have sound magic, but the sound of this mustang does a little magic
I love the wheels on that bronze package.
