Hi brother, congratulations for your new processor 😄 I wanted a recommendation, for my first ever PC build , should I go with Ryzen 9 7900x with 4070 ti super or get a cheaper one? My usecase is 4k multilayer video editing and ai engineering (using softwares like pytorch and tensorflow)
If you have the budget for it, that combo will certainly get you a long way for video editing (I'd still do some more research tho as I only know that based on the few vids I've watched about those components). Unfortunately I don't have any experience with pytorch or tensorflow either, so I can't say anything about those haha. Thanks for watching :)
Yeah, I didn't think that I should be stuttering at all too, especially since I've had no troubles in the first few years of owning this pc... but anyways, I felt like the upgrade to the 5700x3d on am4 was inevitable for me and so far it seems to have fixed all of the issues I was facing so no complaints from me haha
You do know that CPUs are often benchmarked with some of the strongest possible GPUs right? To see true limits of some CPU. Like Ryzen 5 3600 or so with 3090 or 4080 or something. Obviously the CPU wouldn't be able to push those GPUs, but that's beside the point. There should be MASSIVE stuters in EVERY game using your logic. Aside of the GPU being underutilised it usually fine. 3700X isn't particularily huge bottlenck to 3070 regardless of how much supperior 5700X3D is to it.

5700X3D paired with my 7900XT(1440p gaming) will keep me alive till AM6 with easy (fantastique good processor for AM4) ! 💪💪
The sensible decision.
If u coming from a non x3d cpu, need to install amd chipset driver it helps alot to OS to schedule things accordingly.
I'm comming from a 2400g and 2666mhz ram, this 5700x3d with a 3060 12gb and 16gb 3200mhz should be good for a few more years, i'll just change the ram later and gpu too
oh hail am4!
pairing this cpu with a proart rtx 4060 for my first build 🔥
getting mines sunday along with a xl2546x 240hz
7:10 u should cap those fps for better latency. Capping fps or cpu bottleneck are better case for competitive fps games rather than gpu bottleneck scenario. Gamer Nexus already talking about it
Yeah I totally agree! I usually have my fps capped for most games, I just uncapped it to show the raw fps output for the video. Thanks for pointing that out!
Great leap. I have a 5600g but it feels underwhelming. Not sure if upgrading to the 5700x3d would be significantly beneficial but I may need it after upgrading my GTX 1660 super
Yeah, I’d say keep what you’ve got currently, and then when you feel ready to upgrade, it would be a good idea to upgrade both cpu and gpu together at the same time
I wanna do an itx build as well. I just cant justify it. I have the hyte y60 and i like big cases. I want to do a itx home theater build for my projector in my movie room that i also game on. Its all 1080p but i dont want to spend the money on it rn. I have a laptop with a 4070 in it. I could always hook that up to my projector but i want a dedicated pc with a descreet gpu.
3 months ago i bought the 5800X 💔
i thought the 5700X3d is bad bc its new and there were no reviews but yeah i paid 140€
I went from a 2700X to the same CPU and its was a masive upgrade xD
I have the 5700x3d with a 7900xt and it runs and plays very well at 1440 native. I won't be going to Am5 platform it will be pointless for me
64% of rubbing al means the rest is things that will leave a residue. The remaining 36% is not distilled water...In fact it is a lotion. That could be a problem down the line. I highly recommend not using that.
Thanks for letting me know! I’ll note that down for next time
I am thinking to upgrade ryzen 5 3600x cpu to this one, i hope it will be enough for 3-5 years.
just by curiosity, are you filipino or you just toured around palawan and got the coron shirt? anyways thanks for the in depth review since we literally have the same pc specs and it helped me decide to upgrade my 3700x
I am indeed Filipino! Thanks for watching :)
I'm on a 5600X with a rx 6900xt. Wondering if it'd even worth it for me to upgrade to a 5700x3D.
definitely worth it, 8 core 16 threads + X3d cache, 5700x3d would do more justice to that 6900xt
I love the chill guy at the end 😂 i just bought 5700x3d changing from R5 3600 and also thinking upgrading to a better gpu is the 4070 worth it?
Hi! Depends on your current gpu, might be worth looking into the RTX 4070 Ti Super and above for the 16gb of vram if its within your budget!
w upgrade
This is the way. Drop in replacement cheap upgrade.
was thinking of going from a 5600x to a 5700x3d too when I get the chance since they js discontinued the 5800x3d :(
Yeah I just missed out on the 5800x3d too, I had a chance when it was on clearance :((
*Googs* I'm surprised that a R7 3700X was bottlenecked by a RTX 3070 running games in 1440p. Did you ever check your CPU temps, while your system was loaded into a game? Are you certain that your AIO's pump is operational? I'm just curious.
Hey don’t worry, I was as surprised as you are about my issues with the 3700x haha, but yeah the temps were fine throughout my time owning both cpus.
If your getting any amount of spikes with those components im sorry to say but you messed something up bc ive used a 1650 build and used it for months with no problems
You have 1 more video card upgrade on that platform. I have a 5800x3d and it's fine with my 4090.
5800X/3D?
Nice. Would like to check, how you think of this setting? thinking of getting one.

@@itsatrap4986no? mean what?
9700X isn't a good for the price and 4070 S overpriced. @@jasperteo9469
im so jealous man i want to upgrade to 5700x3d too but im in a 3rd world country and my salary is too low to put money on my pc T_T
What gpu u r using in ur pc ❤
Hi brother, congratulations for your new processor 😄
I wanted a recommendation, for my first ever PC build , should I go with Ryzen 9 7900x with 4070 ti super or get a cheaper one?
My usecase is 4k multilayer video editing and ai engineering (using softwares like pytorch and tensorflow)
If you have the budget for it, that combo will certainly get you a long way for video editing (I'd still do some more research tho as I only know that based on the few vids I've watched about those components). Unfortunately I don't have any experience with pytorch or tensorflow either, so I can't say anything about those haha. Thanks for watching :)
@@GoogsYT Thank you so much for ur suggestion bro!
I will definitely get this combination!
You got a new subscriber btw :)
I dont think ryzen 3700x causes microstutering in games, i think the problem can be the 8gb vram of 3070
Yeah, I didn't think that I should be stuttering at all too, especially since I've had no troubles in the first few years of owning this pc... but anyways, I felt like the upgrade to the 5700x3d on am4 was inevitable for me and so far it seems to have fixed all of the issues I was facing so no complaints from me haha
@@GoogsYT Now u can pair with a high end gpu with no problems
W new sub
Thanks!
Ohh ok truee. Honestly, I don’t claim to be an expert on anything, so I just assumed that my cpu was the issue and then upgrading it fixed everything for me. Thanks for the insight!
@@GoogsYTnah you good upgrading to 5700X3D was for the better now you won’t need to upgrade for another 5 years minimum unless you go full esports 360hz shit.
If you want better performance you need fresh Windows for x3d processors.
I notice your motherboard have 8+4pin cpu, maybe if your power supply has extra cpu cable it might increase it stability, if not then it should be completely doin just fine
i'm on 5800x and was thinking to upgrade to 5700x3d in july on amazon prime day for 180 $ i didn't now the price stays the same and won't drop any time soon that's for sure
Hmm if you’re already on the 5800x, I’m not sure if the 5700x3d would be worth your money. Worth researching tho! :)
@@GoogsYT It is worth it if you game and i do this will help in some what but yeah maybe i'll wait 2 more years and go for AM5 gpu i'm not worry about cuz i got 7800xt it will hold its own for few more years that's for sure
@@scyzorpl Let me know if you buy 5700x3d and see noticeable difference. I'm also thinking about upgrading from 5800x to 5700x3d especially for fps games to maximize my 1440p 240hz monitor.
I live this cpu i have it paired with a 7900xtx
