That is a pretty bad bottle neck -glad to see it worked out since I have pretty much the exact same issue trying to stream to twitch while recording Stalker 2.. for now I'm stuck on the AM4 platform though so i'll be getting the 5700X3D. Thanks for the video Googs, Keep it up!
Hi brother, congratulations for your new processor 😄 I wanted a recommendation, for my first ever PC build , should I go with Ryzen 9 7900x with 4070 ti super or get a cheaper one? My usecase is 4k multilayer video editing and ai engineering (using softwares like pytorch and tensorflow)
I just built my first ever pc, recently moved from xbox series x. I paired the ryzen5 7600 cpu with a 4060 oc eagle. Not as good as this build in the video but i love it!. Ill upgrade bit by bit in the future. Nice video bro
@LunarLikeFortnite Too expensive for what they are and how old, I'll just get the 9700x and move to AM5, much better choice for like 150€ more than the 5950x itself
I notice your motherboard have 8+4pin cpu, maybe if your power supply has extra cpu cable it might increase it stability, if not then it should be completely doin just fine
You do know that CPUs are often benchmarked with some of the strongest possible GPUs right? To see true limits of some CPU. Like Ryzen 5 3600 or so with 3090 or 4080 or something. Obviously the CPU wouldn't be able to push those GPUs, but that's beside the point. There should be MASSIVE stuters in EVERY game using your logic. Aside of the GPU being underutilised it usually fine. 3700X isn't particularily huge bottlenck to 3070 regardless of how much supperior 5700X3D is to it.
Ohh ok truee. Honestly, I don’t claim to be an expert on anything, so I just assumed that my cpu was the issue and then upgrading it fixed everything for me. Thanks for the insight!
@@GoogsYTnah you good upgrading to 5700X3D was for the better now you won’t need to upgrade for another 5 years minimum unless you go full esports 360hz shit.
i'm on 5800x and was thinking to upgrade to 5700x3d in july on amazon prime day for 180 $ i didn't now the price stays the same and won't drop any time soon that's for sure
@@GoogsYT It is worth it if you game and i do this will help in some what but yeah maybe i'll wait 2 more years and go for AM5 gpu i'm not worry about cuz i got 7800xt it will hold its own for few more years that's for sure
@@scyzorpl Let me know if you buy 5700x3d and see noticeable difference. I'm also thinking about upgrading from 5800x to 5700x3d especially for fps games to maximize my 1440p 240hz monitor.
for the 7900 XT you would need to step up to AM5 with a 3D Chip, so your talking about replacing everything then, and your talking some big bucks there as well, mucho mula
Yeah 8gb of vram is definitely getting rough in 2024, but the issues I had before upgrading my cpu have seem to gone away now, so I'm not complaining 😅
r 7 3700x stutters at minecraft? what you do in background???? a r7 5700x3d is way too bad for video editing and rendering and gaming for me (too low ghz, vcache is at much stuff useless so a non x3d is mosttimes better 😅 in my case it x3d really useless have in games 5-10fps more but need 20% more time at rendering.... so 1-2hours longer rendering sucks! )
My final upgrade was the rtx 4080 super. Maybe I will get a better CPU in late 2025, cuz I have the 5600x right now. I advice for beginners to spend more money on the GPU first

5700X3D is a beast! Hope you enjoy your upgrade! I have the same CPU and i have a 4060 GPU. its both great on gaming

great upgrade, i also have the same combo 5700x3rd with a 3070 , this cpu is a beast
it's a great upgrade ! enjoy it !
Thankss! :)

That’s an awesome first pc! Thanks for watching :))
terrible pc why a 4060 like are u special or shit?
should have spent exta on the rx 7700 xt for double the performance
i had a minimum budget to work with. and the rx7700xt is quite pricey for me at the moment. when i can afford in the future ill upgrade.
😒👍 its fine, its not about your Ride but that you Ride, keep building up your video game library, keep stacking
The 5800X3D still holds its own very, very well. You'll be good to go for the next several years.
I have the same issue with my 3600 and RX 7800 XT, I'm considering the 5700x3D to upgrade and here it looks really good!
go for 5900x or 5950x

w upgrade
If you want better performance you need fresh Windows for x3d processors.
oooo cpu upgrade!! 🫨

meant 3060ti*
😒👍 140 all day long at Microcenter 🐢🐢🐢
was thinking of going from a 5600x to a 5700x3d too when I get the chance since they js discontinued the 5800x3d :(
Yeah I just missed out on the 5800x3d too, I had a chance when it was on clearance :((
yoo im also upgrading to the same cpu
Nice! I’m sure you’ll enjoy the upgrade too :)

Hmm if you’re already on the 5800x, I’m not sure if the 5700x3d would be worth your money. Worth researching tho! :)

What's the model of your Asus monitor?
It's the Asus VG27AQ for the main monitor and then the Asus VG258Q for the vertical monitor :)
Did u sell your old cpu then?
Gave it to my gf :)
@ kool so she get a upgrade then. Make a video about it.

Currently on am4 with r5 3600 and 1660 ti. Should I now upgrade to 5700x3d with 7900 xt or go straight with am5 and skip upgrade-path am4?
5800x3d
I’d say it’s still worth staying on am4, such a versatile socket but you won’t go wrong either way!

why would you spend more on your cooler than ur CPU
