Also got myself the 5700x3d and 32 GB ram and I feel like this will carry me for a few more years at the very least!

You might wanna use more thermal paste next time. Ive found the cross method yields better temps. Modern cpus prefer more than the classic grain of rice in the middle

Just got mine for 140€ of ali, huge upgrade over my 3500x. Now my rx 6800 is really stretching its legs, games even load faster with less bugs.

Probably the only person I have seen use Isocol rubbing alcohol to remove TIM 😭😭

Great leap. I have a 5600g but it feels underwhelming. Not sure if upgrading to the 5700x3d would be significantly beneficial but I may need it after upgrading my GTX 1660 super

Just got one of these for $140 on Aliexpress. Only tested on Minecraft so far but it’s an insane improvement over my 5600g. It went from dipping down to 90fps every once in a while to never going below 200fps

Same cpu brother, upgraded from a ryzen 5 3600 to this cpu. Crazy difference even daily tasks are faster. I think we good for a couple a years 😅. Also just sub to your channel.

You know what, im using this channel as an indication on when I will upgrade to AM5. The moment you upgrade to AM5, I will join you. I also am on 5700x3d now as the last hoorah for my AM4 platform.

7:10 u should cap those fps for better latency. Capping fps or cpu bottleneck are better case for competitive fps games rather than gpu bottleneck scenario. Gamer Nexus already talking about it

I just did the same upgrade with the same setup a couple of weeks ago. The performance increase, and especially the stability improvement in games was really noticeable! Enjoy your upgrade

If you want better performance you need fresh Windows for x3d processors.

r 7 3700x stutters at minecraft? what you do in background???? a r7 5700x3d is way too bad for video editing and rendering and gaming for me (too low ghz, vcache is at much stuff useless so a non x3d is mosttimes better 😅 in my case it x3d really useless have in games 5-10fps more but need 20% more time at rendering.... so 1-2hours longer rendering sucks! )

Hi brother, congratulations for your new processor 😄 I wanted a recommendation, for my first ever PC build , should I go with Ryzen 9 7900x with 4070 ti super or get a cheaper one? My usecase is 4k multilayer video editing and ai engineering (using softwares like pytorch and tensorflow)

That is a pretty bad bottle neck -glad to see it worked out since I have pretty much the exact same issue trying to stream to twitch while recording Stalker 2.. for now I'm stuck on the AM4 platform though so i'll be getting the 5700X3D. Thanks for the video Googs, Keep it up!

I notice your motherboard have 8+4pin cpu, maybe if your power supply has extra cpu cable it might increase it stability, if not then it should be completely doin just fine

What's the model of your Asus monitor?

The 5800X3D still holds its own very, very well. You'll be good to go for the next several years.
