I think all the J-Type ships have nacelle engines, while the H-type doesn't. So it might be the classification they give based on the engine arrangement.
that is a good possibility... maybe it is just to sew confusion.. No no. we do not have an amazing ship yard .. look they are all J Types , we just updated it and changed its name
Yeah, that could be. Another commenter suggested that the letters could indicate who designed them, too. But you could combine your theories: perhaps Mr. J likes the nacelle-style engines, while Mr. H prefers them embedded.
The N1 Naboo Starfighter does NOT shoot blasters and torpedoes from the same tube. Two tubes on the top of the nose fires blasters, while one tube underneath the nose fires the torpedoes.
I phrased that sentence poorly; the N-1 for some reason has two torpedo launchers that fire from the same tube. I should have made that a separate sentence from the blasters to avoid confusion! UA-cam should bring back annotations so I could make a note of that on-screen… As for why the lore writers thought it should have two torpedo launchers firing from the same hole, well, your guess is as good as mine. But it’s very specifically written that way.
@RadioFreeCoruscant I do believe, upon reviewing the cutaway paintings of the N1, it has one torpedo tube with two torpedo magazines holding five missiles each. These ten torpedoes fire out of the same hole, no different than a gun firing bullets from a single magazine.
I should have written that sentence differently! I meant that the two torpedo launchers use the same tube, not the torpedoes and the cannons. (Why the lore writers thought it needed two torpedo launchers even though it only has one tube, I have no idea.)
@RadioFreeCoruscant the naboo are mostly pacifist so a nonsensical weapon system choice kinda fits and perhaps the type letter refers to the basic space frame used for the ships construction
Well I can’t take credit for that part, I just downloaded the models from various sources. But I did do the lighting, animations, and some alterations like engine glows and setting up the textures to work and look how I wanted them to!
This video is of a great one! You are my favorite Star wars UA-camr of all time! I think it would be very interesting to see a video on the rebel flagship Home One, if you haven't already. Once again, Great video, and even greater channel!
Wow, thank you! That’s very kind! I have made a video on Home One, but it was quite a while ago. Around this time last year, if I remember right! Edit: it was actually a little older than that; September 2023. It's a Trap! Home One, the Rebel Flagship | Star Wars Lore ua-cam.com/video/gqJuwtNyTPQ/v-deo.html
The J-Type 327 is by far the most beautiful ship in star wars, maybe not as useful as a YT-2000, but dang if it doesn't beat it in looks. Still fav ship.
I'm more of a light transport freighter girl myself, but I like the yacht. Not to practical, but still, she's a beauty. How about a video on that CIS ship that looked like a claw and fired that ion wave from its side? I'd love to know about that ship. Keep up the good work RFC! 😀
I'm not too fond of the Nubian ships as I prefer something that is common enough to allow me to keep a lower profile, like one of the CEC YT ships. That said, the N-1 Starfighter is pretty cool.
you mention the Naboo Cruiser, which is from the N64 Battle for naboo, but didnt mention the bomber from that? I know you put it in as a misc fighter, but the bomber was pretty significant in the mission it was in bomber was worth more t
i do have a question... If only the royals could have the chrome ships, then how did they sell the one model for 800k ??? second question... if the J327 is unarmed, why does it have very obvious weapons ports? if they are not for weapons then why interrupt the lines? Maybe all the J types were designed by the same person and the H a different.... N1's are sleek, the rest look kind of gawdy
1. I’m really not sure. 99% of the stories we see Naboo ships in ignore the royal chrome rule, so maybe that’s just a piece of lore we should disregard. However, it’s also possible that sold H-types are coated in something else that resembles chromium to make the owner feel important without actually breaking the rule (or the bank). Like to the layman, silver and platinum look basically the same, but silver costs $30 an ounce while platinum is $930. 2. Those are probably ports for sensors or similar equipment. It’s possible that the ship’s IRL designer meant for them to be weapons but the lore writer decided that it should be unarmed instead, but it think them being sensors makes sense. 3. I like your theory on the names! Maybe the different letters signify different designers within Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering.
The 4 ports are floodlights. However in early storyboards the two ventral hemispheric bumps on either side of the main escape pod were going to be turrets that Obi-Wan nd Qui-Gon fought droid fighters from, but that got scrapped.
When you quote the Noobian Starfighters Speed, I can Hear Clarence Kelly Rolling, and Farting, in his Grave!! An F-104 can go TWICE AS FAST, an SR-71 3-Time-as-fast! Lucas Films has no Clue, never did. I'll sign-on to a STARFURY, thank you.
Naboo starships ? Useless , artcie junk .......... They couldn't even conquer and subjugate their own star system with them , no wonder the slug people from the trade federation conquered them so easily.

I would absolutely love a dedicated video for the N1, it's my absolute favourite. Please never stop making vids, you're my comfort UA-camr :]
Oh, that’s very kind! I will keep making videos as long as people keep watching them!
You said it! Works of art! I’m taking a trip to Spain just to say I’ve been to Naboo😂

The N-1's canons and proton torpedo launcher did not share the same firing ports ! One set was above and the other below on the front of the ship.
I should have written that sentence differently! I meant that the two torpedo launchers use the same tube, not the torpedoes and the cannons. (Why the lore writers thought it needed two torpedo launchers even though it only has one tube, I have no idea.)

I enjoy all of Radio Free Coruscant videos 🎉🎉😊
I see chrome I click
I would love full videos on each of the main ships (featured in movies). I love your channel; you're a go-to watch every week!
6:35 bombers would have good defensive uses, such as anti-capital ship use.
I love the J type star skiff, would love to see more of it
The N-1 isn't just my favorite Naboo ship, it's my all time favorite starfighter
They may not fit 100% with the aesthetic of the rest of the franchise, but I love them.
Chromium shine and clean lines all day long.
Great video!!! Very nice 3D modeling!

The only one not called a J-Type is also the only one that can be purchased.
This video is my new favorite RFC video!
Thanks!
Personally I would love an H-Type. The design is very sleek and sharp.
The J-Type 327 is by far the most beautiful ship in star wars, maybe not as useful as a YT-2000, but dang if it doesn't beat it in looks. Still fav ship.
J Star Skiff is my favorite
I like the J-Type Diplomatic Barge
I love the J-327. Kind of sad it didn't become the signature ship of the prequels.
Imagine how much better the prequels would have been if Naboo were replaced with Coruscant in the narrative.
Honourable mention to Captain Phasma's armour and the ship it came from.
Oh shoot, I should have mentioned that!
I would love to see a J-type 327 replica with weapons. 2 hangers for 2 updated A-wings in the "The Mandalorian" era.
I'm more of a light transport freighter girl myself, but I like the yacht. Not to practical, but still, she's a beauty. How about a video on that CIS ship that looked like a claw and fired that ion wave from its side? I'd love to know about that ship. Keep up the good work RFC! 😀
Yeah, I could probably make that happen one of these days. I’ve been meaning to talk about CIS ships more, but just keep not doing it!
Actually...the SR-71 INTERCEPTOR...is the only, " OFFCIAL ", Naboo ship of choice😉💯%!!!
I'm not too fond of the Nubian ships as I prefer something that is common enough to allow me to keep a lower profile, like one of the CEC YT ships. That said, the N-1 Starfighter is pretty cool.

I should’ve moved the N-1L and N-1T to the N-1 section, and just made the Miscellaneous section be about the bomber instead.
Why is it a H type?
It's the only one that is commercially available. J type refers to the restricted models.
That’s a great explanation.
You can use the police naboo star fighter in Star wars starfighter with a cheat code
My favorite is the one with the 300ft (91m) wingspan and 4 engines.

@RadioFreeCoruscant that would stand to reason, instead of chromium it is highly polished high grade whatever is posh and shiny
@@spiffs2septims730that makes sense. Thanks for the info
Naboo NB-1 Royal bomber combines the classic lines with the quad engine design seen on the much larger diplomatic barge. Just Awesome.
