Hi! Thank you for posting this video. I just got this car and I really like it. The only issue I'm having is that the dashboard and door panels are sticky/melting and brittle. Lexus had a recall to replace all the panels and dash at no cost but it ended in 2021. Have you experienced this problem with yours?
Mike has been relatively minor. Dashboard still looks very good. Another thing to watch out for but it’s just basic stuff: check your oil every month. Older cars like this second gen IS is up there in age. Top off oil when needed and you’re good.
Also you can set the interior front and rear lights to come on at night (when you open door) by clicking “door” where the sun roof switch is and setting it to “on”.
My old 1990 Celica is beat up with all bald tires and all the warning lights on. When I drive it's sluggish with white smoke coming out the exhaust. Engine is super hot! I wish I had this car.
Clearly you’re so poor you need some kind of aid. Get rid of that car the head gasket blew and you’re driving it with no water. When was the last time you changed the oil? I’m telling you, one day it’ll catch fire and if you’re in the car, that can be fatal!
Hello and thank you for the information from Gemany. I am offered a IS 250 automatic. It has the feature that there are noch paddles to change the gears at the steering whell. Never saw this Do you have any information about this : Thanks in advance. Frank
I believe you are referring to the paddle shifters. I never use them but they are basically a manual way to change the gears in the automatic transmission. If you put your car in Sports mode or “S” on the shifter, you can manually shift the gears from 1-6 manually instead of having the transmission do it on its own. It’s more like a feature you want if you want to remain at higher RPM’s between gear shifts. The idea there is that you have a little more speed passing people and accelerating. It’s an OK feature. I never use it and only like used it one time.

Responding to people in the comments: the window UP feature does NOT always work for every 2nd Generation ISX50 or ISF even. It seems very random on which cars had it and which didn't. Usually though, if you know someone with Techstream (toyota software) they can turn the option on for you easily. The dealer can probably do this too.
@@KingDrewPhilip Do you have the car still? My 2008 ISF did not have the feature. I tried many times and held it down for over 10 seconds sometimes. Other reports from people seem to be what I described as far as randomness
U can turn all these settings on and off with a scan tool. I have one and you can change everything from how long lights stay on, auto lock and whether the sunroof opens when you use the key fob window down function. You can also turn on the feature to hold lock to close everything.
It should be one of the options in the stereo system. On the bottom there’s like a few buttons for CD, radio, and one of them should be “disc/aux”. Now if she has a touchscreen, it’s probably integrated inside the infotainment system. My car doesn’t have a touchscreen, so for me it’s just a button.
It has way more (actually) hidden features! You should look into the complete tracktion control deactivation (not the button), how the Sports setting on the stick works (shift automatically up to gear 4) and the hidden button in the glovebox to lock the boot.
For time changing? There should be two tiny buttons next to the digital display of the time itself. One button is “H” for hours and “M” for minutes. Push those and adjust to the correct time.
Are you talking about the two small round lights underneath the headlights? If so those are fog lights and there’s an option to turn that off on the same knob you turn on the lights. I can be thinking of the wrong lights. Now if it’s high beams and it’s stuck on then that’s not normal it could be some faulty electric issue, but this is the first time I heard of this issue on this car.
I had the same issue when I put the the headlights on auto mode and turn off the engine, the headlights won't turn off automatically. It turns out that my door ajar sensor was faulty as the car uses it to know that you left the car and thus turn off the headlights.

U can turn all these settings on and off with a scan tool. I have one and you can change everything from how long lights stay on, auto lock and whether the sunroof opens when you use the key fob window down function. You can also turn on the feature to hold lock to close everything.
My 2010 IS350C does not have the windows up feature bu holding down the lock button. I've held it for 20 seconds and nothing.
here supporting you, milanz tv
Thanks for the support
Ganda naman yan...pasakay host
Thank you 🙏
The windows do go up when u hold down the lock button on the key fob. At least mine does
I just realized this too I wasn’t holding the button down long enough haha
Got for my niece 1st car. Don't have aux buttons. So how does the aux port jack work?
It should be one of the options in the stereo system. On the bottom there’s like a few buttons for CD, radio, and one of them should be “disc/aux”. Now if she has a touchscreen, it’s probably integrated inside the infotainment system. My car doesn’t have a touchscreen, so for me it’s just a button.
@Andrew Bibay thx. Yes no touch screen. So I will try disc/aux. Perhaps the aux port got damaged and may need to replace
The aux port is in arm rest box
Sending my full support from MiLanz Tv Richelle Mingarine here
Thank you for the much needed support
The dash on this car is awesome! I love the speed and rpm indicator.
Agreed! The analog nature of it makes it cool and somewhat timeless compared to the digital versions on newer cars.
It has way more (actually) hidden features! You should look into the complete tracktion control deactivation (not the button), how the Sports setting on the stick works (shift automatically up to gear 4) and the hidden button in the glovebox to lock the boot.
Cool, thanks! I’ll check that out
wow nice car watchng
Thank you for watching and supporting
Ganda naman niyan sana kahit sa panaginip
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching
Hidden Features and Uniqueness The Lexus IS250/350 is suitable for driving on all terrains
Kinda not for off-road terrain however. I tried a dirt road once and it wasn’t so pleasant haha

Hi can you show mi who i change clock please.
For time changing? There should be two tiny buttons next to the digital display of the time itself. One button is “H” for hours and “M” for minutes. Push those and adjust to the correct time.
@@KingDrewPhilip I want 6:00 to 18:00??
Nice music
Thank you for the kind words and it’s a song called “Avril 14th”.
Hello my friend..sending my support
Hopefully we remain connected
Beautiful car
I love it. I feel kind of like an important person when I’m driving it. It’s very stylish and the ride is very serene.
Got the diesel 220d love it to bits depsite the engine being very lackluster compared to the petrol ones and less reliable. Just wish they did an auto
Diesel option. Here in the USA that isn’t even an option. I want to drive a diesel option just to see how it feels and what makes it different.
Hi. If you hold the lock button long enough it will close all windows. If yours doesn't then you have a problem... Thanks for sharing!
I only held it for a few seconds so I’ll need to try again. Thanks for the advice.
I didn't see that in Toyota tech stream
Is there a parking light just one side
What do you mean by parking light? I’m just a little confused on what lights you’re asking about in the car.
On mine when i walk up to it and i put my hand on the doorknob it unlocks u dont need to press the button even
@@owenserpa9832 mine too. It’s a cool feature
nice car
Thanks. Lexus , they’re stylish cars for sure. Reliable too
do u also like the carbon buildup
I despise it so I walnut blasted it
Carbon?
I have a 2006 is250 130k miles my high beams or yellow light wont turn off , r they day time running lights or something?
Does the dash show tire psi?
It doesn’t actually
@@KingDrewPhilip thanks for confirming
@KingDrewPhilip there's a way to show it, I have one just like yours it's a different button to the left of the steering wheel
@@Dxzmndd can you please upload a video?

Lexus, a smooth ride too
Good car you got here. My friend called the IS a Luxury Corolla. Is this accurate?
It’s small so I can see the comparison. But no this is better than a Corolla in terms of luxury and sportiness.
This is amazing on levels 😅
It’s so sexy
This is my dream even just a toycar I'm happy 😊I'm watching
