Thank you guys so much for the shout out! AND for understanding that the magic should be seen live, not through a screen. Some people record me without even asking and it always gets to me. It's nice to see somebody being respectful and understanding that it's about being in the moment and not recording. We hope you guys get a chance to come back and see us. Keep up the great work!
You were great, I would have lost the moment if I recorded which I would have never done any way. I was a union musician on the strip since 1978. Retired about 10years ago. Our son nudged me into making YT videos 2 years ago lol We will definitely be back, I am embarrassed we have never been there prior to that evening. Thanks for taking the time to comment. ❤️
Love Black Bear for their breakfast menu, dinner was hit-and-miss. They will always be a favorite of mine because after I brought my (now passed) mother here, she loved it so much we would bring her back on every Las Vegas trip.
We dined very unexpectedly at Capo’s a few years ago and have never forgotten the experience. Once you get past the unusual but interesting welcome door, it only gets better. Ten thumbs up. 👍
We ate at Black Bear Diner in Las Vegas in January, 2019 (during the time we were attending the Ron Fellows Driving School - Corvette driving training was so fun!).. We went for lunch and I ordered a turkey sandwich. They apologized that they were out of turkey, so I got something else. It was very good and the service was too. As I was paying the bill at the cash register, the manager apologized once again, and comped my lunch. We recently got a Black Bear Diner close to where we live in Texas and plan to go based on our excellent experience in Las Vegas.
Wow, I love this story! We love when the establishment goes above and beyond to do something special for the customer. Not too long ago, Black Bear became aware of this video, and they sent us two t-shirts - totally unexpected. Terrific outfit, in our opinion! :)
That's what we are after - and so many of you tell us that you went to those places, specifically because we made you aware of them! It makes for a more unique vacation experience, if you go to these unusual spots. :)
I had absolutely no idea Capo's existed until my lady friend suggested we try it out a few years ago. She had never been there before, but she told me her mom liked the place. Neither of us knew it was a speakeasy concept, so we had a hard time figuring out how to get in. LOL. When we finally rang the bell, and the guy asked if we knew the secret word, I quickly figured out the whole speakeasy thing and went with it. When he asked if we had reservations, I said "no", and he told me that they were completely booked. Being as the parking lot looked relatively empty, I thought that this was just part of the act. But he was being serious; they really were busy inside! After a few minutes, he said he'd squeeze us in, and he let us in through the "secret door". And, yes, it was completely dark inside. We wound up having to eat at the bar, but we received wonderful service. We had a great time.
Yes, I had a very good time watching. Those places look like interesting restaurants. Your ideas and places to show us are wonderful. Many of us would not know about them if it weren't for you. Thank you. Nina from MA
Fantastic idea to get off the beaten path and show us around. That Capos wow that's my kind of stuff complete with magician!!?! How awesome! Thanks so much guys!
We LOVE to get off the beaten path (i.e. the Strip) and show you someplace different and unique! These places are accessible to tourists and visitors, but also really fun for the locals.
Thank you for checking out Spaghetty Western. That was one of our favorite places when we lived up the parkway. They also have a lunch special before 3pm if you are interested. Capo’s looks like a nice place to try, while Black Bear was a no. We tried it once and had a bad experience. It is always a pleasure seeing you guys. We hope Dale is feeling better now. It is no fun getting older. 😏🙏🙏 BTW the owners of Spaghetty Western are from Philly, my home town. Very Nice People!
We agree, we really liked Spaghetty Western, and will be back - it is literally minutes from the new house. And yes, Dale is doing OK, his knee is fully recovered - thanks for asking. :)
Ok, all these places looked like so much fun! Good food, reasonable prices, and cool atmosphere. 👍👍 I think the experience at Capo's looked so amazing. Can I get one of those lucky quarters too? 🤭 I'm so glad you're getting out and exploring. Thanks for taking us along!
Ok i now want to come visit Vegas to eat!!!! All 4 restaurants looked great. My favorite slot to play is definitely keno! Dale you did great! Keep that lucky quarter. Looking forward to Paula's Kitchen Wednesday. Thank you both for keeping us entertained and showing all the great places to visit.
As do we, Melissa! You tend to get better service for sure, and more for your money. Las Vegas is a big metropolitan city, with so much ethnic diversity too - the off-Strip dining options are incredible.
Poor Durango...He is lost wandering around Vegas somewhere.!? Lol. I thought we would see him when you mentioned the cherry pie. Congrats on the $1000.00 hit! Thanks for the great video Paula and Dale. See you Wednesday.
"I'm not lazy, I just enjoy doing nothing." Lol! I hope to try Black Bear Diner someday. Chris worked there for a week during one of our trips and didn't bring a single thing back to the hotel for me! He said all the food looked really good and that the portions were pretty big. Paula was so funny at the secret door to Capo's. I wouldn't have known what to say either. The food looked amazing and seemed reasonably priced. I can't believe you won $1k after getting that lucky quarter! Of course, we'd take VGK wins over $$$ any day of the week! That bruschetta at Spaghetti Western, oh my. My mouth is watering! Firelight Barn looked like a fun experience. Love pulled pork :) Great video, Dale and Paula! Always entertaining and informative :)
Thank you for giving us off-the-strip ideas for when we're able to finally make it back there! I know we always tell you, but, we absolutely love you guys and look forward to your videos. That said, this has to be one of my (Lori) top five favorites. Thank you for all you do and for just being fun to watch! ❤️
Oh we love that this one made your Top Five! We are loving doing the restaurant stuff, it's something different and fun, and it allows us to film small segments over several days or a week, and then put them together for a fun outing for you all.
Been to a Black Bear Diner here in Colorado Springs on Garden of the Gods Rd and loved it. Being half Italian myself I love the food. I've never been to Capos. I think I felt it was kind of touristy. Similar to the way Mama Leone's was in New York City for so long. Personally the best Italian food I ever had was in an old neighborhood in the Bronx in New York City. Veal that would just melt in your mouth and long tables where people sat side by side and even shared wine. Mama would come out to make sure everyone was happy. I miss those days so much. My housemates Clint and Zorene would love the country style dinner theater. They like the Honkey-Tonk atmosphere and dancing. Get their boots and hats on and its go time.
Sounds like you have wonderful memories of terrific authentic NYC restaurants - those little gems are harder to find now, but they do still exist. And yes, Capo's has a gimmick for sure, but the food was very good, and not exorbitantly expensive either. As for the Firelight Barn - it's really surprising and fun, and we heartily recommend it!
We really enjoyed all 4 of these spots, and judging by the comments, I am thinking Capo's may just get a few more reservations in the coming weeks and months!
Watching from England for dining ideas when we are allowed to return to Las Vegas. Love your content with different options from expensive to modest. Keep it coming.
We love this - first, we are happy to be your "virtual Vegas" until you can come back and visit. And, we are glad you like the off-the-Strip content - we love doing that!
Wow! All these places look great to me! Walt and I have actually eaten at the Black Bear Diner....in Kingman, AZ. (Walt has multiple times). The Dinner Theatre looks fun...we love stuff like that! Thank y’all for sharing such hidden gems with us!!❤️
We love doing that - either showing you a place in Las Vegas that you may have been to elsewhere; or a place in Las Vegas you would never believe was here. :)
CONGRATS ON THE WINNINGS !!! We have to check out those places !! Patti said 1st must be able to walk .She pulled a Durango Dale. !!SHE WILL Walk !! CHEERS .TWINS ! . .!!!
I am always amazed with you guys, soooooooo greaaaaaat !!!!! These places you showed us today were fantastic. When we return to Vegas we will be absolutely sure to try them out. We have been to Vegas many times, but never was aware of what was just past the view of the strip. Thank You So Much. God Bless You Both, and Good Luck with your new home.
Thank you so much, Frank - we really love showing you fun places to visit or eat that are not on the Strip. And we love it more when folks tell us they went and visited these places themselves!
We love this - I read it out loud to Dale. We love when people come here to visit, and take our recommendations! Thanks so much for trusting us, and have a wonderful stay!
I know exactly what you mean about the darkness in Capos. We’ve been there and it was exactly the same for us. Great food and service there. Keep the food establishments coming!
Great Video as always, I Love these little vlogs within the big vlog, We have a Black Bear Diner here in Arizona We Really enjoy it. STAY SAFE BE BLESSED ❤❤
Oh wow, I have been inside four restaurants virtually in less than 20 mins. Thank you for taking me along. Hopefully we may be allowed to go inside to eat in the UK in few weeks time (and a pub). How is that new little Granddaughter of yours? 🎉♥️
How sad it is that you aren't allowed to go inside to eat yet...this has been a long and grueling and brutal time. We will never take for granted the simple freedoms and pleasures ever again, will we? The joy of going into a pub for a pint! As for baby girl...well we FaceTimed with her last night for the first time, and we are in love. She is perfection!
Maybe I’ve missed something along the way, but why doesn’t Dale join Paula at ALL of the dining experiences (like Black Bear, for instance). He used to quite a while back. Don’t get me wrong, I love Paula gong it alone, but I was just curious. Anyway....LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! They make my day! 😉👍
Thank you for watching, we appreciate every view, and all the kind compliments. :) Here's the thing: We are producing the equivalent of a 20-minute documentary every week, with really high production values, careful research, background music, etc. It takes Dale 4 working days to do it, and that is not counting the time to actually go out and film. That means he has to be sitting at the computer, in his office, doing the editing and post-production work. I work full-time, and not from home - I travel to my workplace 5 days a week. Last week Dale's Mom was finally laid to rest, 3 months after passing away, and again he could not be there - it was difficult. Also last week our daughter-in-law went through 3 days of harrowing labor, to deliver our first grandchild. In other words, LIFE is what happens in and around making videos. So...to make this happen every week, sometimes it is necessary for us to split up the duties. I go out every day, so it is easier for me to grab the cameras and gear, and go film breakfast at 6 am, or run over to the Black Bear Diner or the Bagel Cafe on my lunch hour - because somebody sometime has to go out and film the content, or there is no vlog. We are two people, doing all the roles, so we do the best we can.
@@paulamckenzie I’m sorry for your loss. That sounds like it was rough. I have to say I’m very impressed with the work you both do. I hope your channel can grow to the point where you don’t have to work! I love your content. Thank you both very much for what you do❤️
Fantastic video!!!! always good views and informations.... i would like to spend 2 months there to visit all places you show us!!! I AM A BIG FAN OF YOU TWO!!!!! YOU THE BEST CONGRATULATIONS December i will be there Have a good weekend
@@paulamckenzie I’m so glad Dale had a win since moving south. I love seeing the locals win! I’m always interested on their favourite places to go. My guess it’s not the strip!
Another great (and lucky!) video! Will have to check out Spaghetty Western and Capo's. I've tried a few Black Bear Diners around town and have had a great experience every time. 🍀
Glad to hear you enjoy Black Bear - we have had dinner together there, and breakfast - the one on Sahara and on South Strip - and enjoyed the experience.
Will have to put Capo’s on our list of things to do in Vegas. Might need to stay for a year after watching all the great places you take us Dale & Paula. Hope the 🇺🇸 govt wouldn’t mind a couple of Aussies 🇦🇺 staying a bit longer? 🤔 Lol.
I can't speak for the U.S. Government, but I'm sure many Americans like myself would welcome you extending your trip and spending even more money in the U.S. economy!
@@busterbud we would be over the moon to support the US economy whilst enjoying a holiday even though our dollar is a lot weaker than yours at the moment. Hopefully we will be able to travel overseas again in the near future. 🇺🇸🇦🇺💵
Great video on local restaurants. I’ll be sure to use your videos for reference on places to eat for my next trip to LV. Condolences to you on the death of Dale’s Mom. Pretty rough not being able to be at burial. I recently lost my sister and have had to wait as well for burial which is limited to 9 due to Covid restrictions. 😞. However congratulations on your first grandchild...how wonderful for you. Have a great week🇨🇦❤️
We are sorry for what you are going through as well, Susan...it's heartbreaking enough to lose a close family member, let alone not having the comfort of the funeral ritual. And thanks for the congratulations - we truly feel blessed. :)
Got to try a Black Bear Diner in St. George Utah for a huge breakfast before we hit the trails at Zion National Park. Was nice to know what I was walking into. So good.
@@paulamckenzie I was so glad I spotted it because we probably would have ended up at Cracker Barrel! Yes you helped us plan a perfect Vegas/Utah trip!
Another amazing Sunday video! Amazing editing as well, really well put together! As we sit in lock downs and curfews due to Covid in Canada it’s nice to live vicariously through your videos!!! Thank you for taking us along and CONGRATS on your new granddaughter
We know that we are your "virtual Vegas" for going on 15 months now - and glad to be that for you, until you can come back. We surely hope it's soon! And thanks for the congrats - we are over the moon ecstatic!
The speakeasy looked like so much FUN! We love when you 2 go off the strip as well and show us local places. Gives Vegas a more homey feel. Another amazing video you 2. Thanks for making our Sunday as always. #LasVegas 🤠
We love showing you that this is really just kind of a normal town, with normal neighborhoods and restaurants, one-off options and chains, shopping plazas and parks. Glad you two enjoy that kind of content! :)
Thank you so much for this! You made Capo’s look super tempting, so now I’m too torn to pick between them and Bootlegger. I’ll have my husband watch both your videos and let him make the choice. Eventually we’ll make it to both ☺️
So glad you watched! Now we had a little talk about this, and your dilemma. If WE were to recommend only one of the two, we would go with Bootlegger. Just our two cents worth...
Been to Capo’s once when we were in Vegas from a friends recommendation. Definitely a different dinner experience with it being dark inside. Chicken lucchese and mushroom risotto were delicious.
I just loved this video (as we love all your videos). We also tried Black Bear Diner (off Trop), and dined at Capo's a few visits back, as well as Bootlegger's, which you covered some videos ago. Just a few suggestions of some other spots we have tried & found them to be very good as well... Seafood Shack & Mojito Bar @ TI, Grimaldi's Pizza off Rampart, Big Dog Brewing Co on N. Rancho Drive, Crepe Expectations in Henderson, just to name a few... I have a spread sheet of places to dine & where we can dine next time we get to LV... Thanks for listening & waiting for your next new video (Gordon)
Hey Gordon, thank you for the list! We used to live near the Big Dog, and we ate there regularly for years - fantastic Northern Pike, which is impossible to find here in the desert. Have been to Grimaldi's as well, yum. We'll add the others to our to-do list. By the way, I love it that you have a spreadsheet for Las Vegas visits! :)
Thanks for this look at eateries that we might not otherwise know about. Capo's and the mob theme prompts this question. Since you've both lived in Vegas a long time and it was relatively smaller when you first arrived, and Dale worked as an entertainer in many casinos, did either of you ever see in person such notorious people as Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal or Tony "The Ant" Spilotro when you were out? Thanks again and keep the great videos coming!
I know Dale worked at the Stardust in that era, right after he arrived here, around 1980. Those guys were here, but I don't recall him saying he ever saw any of them in person. And thank you as always for the kind compliments! :)
thanks for the sunday tour with you dale and paula and i look forward to seeing you paula back in studio k oh yes did you find our pie eating buddy yet --hehe
Paula, thanks to you we recently stayed in Vegas last week and rented a car. We decided to try the Bagel Cafe for breakfast. Oh my goodness it was very good and reasonable too. Very busy for a Wednesday. Being from New York (I now live in Ohio) I had to get three giant black and white cookies to eat at the hotel. The bagels were also very very good. Thank you for posting that video!
Renee, how was the car rental experience? As perhaps you've seen on the news, in many places there is a shortage of rental cars making availability slim and sending prices up.
Buster Bud...Buster We booked with National in February and have executive status with them. We originally booked a mid-size car for two days (Hyundai tue-wed) when we got to the airport rental we were able to just pick out any car....well they were slim. Maybe about 15. We choose a convertible mustang and paid 160.00 total including tax and gas to fill her up. But overall in the rental garage, Alamo was in our floor too, there were not a lot. I hope that answers your question. BTW my Dad went with us to Vegas as well and rented a car at the Avis counter at Excalibur, he paid the same as we did for one day for a mid-size.
@@Ratgirl505 Thanks Renee. It's just interesting to get first hand accounts. Perhaps you saw the extreme example in Maui, Hawaii on the news. Of course it is an island state which exacerbates things, but a Toyota Camry was going for $722 a day--if you could find one. As a result, tourists are renting U-Haul trucks to tool around in! Crazy. Take care.
Awesome video some really cool places!! I hope Durango Dale is okay, all that delicious pie and he was nowhere to be found, hmmmm!!?? Btw, I’ll be in the garage with a set of pliers bending 40 or 50 quarters!!!
Y’all had me at pie🙈. I think of Dale, when I eat salad (since he skips the dressing). Capos looks great 🤠👍👍. Magicians at your table. OMG, I got chills when you won a thousand dollars🍀. I went to the Debbie Reynolds casino & the movie collectible tour too, 🌷
LOL so you are a good girl - you think about pie but eat salad!! And yes, Capo's is worth a visit, very fun place, and turned out to be very fortuitous to the keno player in the house!!
Great video! I’m a local and I recommend Spaghetto! It is amazing food and we’re ranked best new restaurant by best of Las Vegas and the owner are Italian!
So funny! We were at Capo’s 2 weeks ago. It’s one of our local favorite places. You missed the bloody horse head at the bar. Straight out of The Godfather movie. Another local spot is Casa Di Amore and My Mother’s House. You should review those 2 as well.
Yes I did miss the horse head - darn!! I am always very aware of the diners in a place like that, and try not to be too obtrusive with my filming. Thus I didn't get all the nooks and crannies. We know of those other two spots, but have never eaten at either one....will add to our list. :)
Oh you must have missed it - how many people counted on a Vegas getaway in the depths of winter? I surely hope that was the last one you are gonna miss...
Ohh couldn't we all? I have to say, Dale holds that bent quarter every time he plays Keno now - it doesn't give him good luck every time, but it sure has a few more times since he got it. He won a nice big taxable last weekend! :)
LOL that cowbell concept is great fun! Anyone at Dean's Place who wins $400 or more in a hand gets the puck and cowbell, and spins a wheel for free play.
I love Black Bear Diner! It was fun seeing all these places, you guys got a lot done in a week. I have a couple of ideas for future videos... Breakfast series: The Henry, I always hear great things about their food Staycation: Tuscany Suites, so far I haven't seen any vegas Vloggers go there
Well in truth I think we filmed those 4 segments in the space of two weeks, then collected them and put them together into one vlog. Now I don't know about The Henry, I will have to look that up. Tuscany, we have been into - we have dear friends from CA who stay there every single time they visit Las Vegas, because they have two teenagers and the suites are huge (and the prices are terrific). Thanks for watching, and thanks for the suggestions! :)
You are welcome to come back as many times as you want - we love hearing from you!! If you ever get back to Las Vegas, and want a unique experience, check out the Firelight Barn. :)

All your food vlogs make me wish I lived in Vegas and not the Midwest. Thanks for the best travel vlogs on UA-cam.
And thank YOU for such a great compliment! And, for going back and watching some of our earlier videos - we appreciate that so much. :)
Thank you for showing us both on and off strip restaurants. Many of us appreciate the variety.

Love Black Bear for their breakfast menu, dinner was hit-and-miss. They will always be a favorite of mine because after I brought my (now passed) mother here, she loved it so much we would bring her back on every Las Vegas trip.
I agree on the breakfast - it is terrific. We have only had dinner there once I think, and don't recall the details.
We dined very unexpectedly at Capo’s a few years ago and have never forgotten the experience. Once you get past the unusual but interesting welcome door, it only gets better. Ten thumbs up. 👍
Glad you felt that way - we did too! Kinda weird there at the door, but once you get inside and seated, it's a fantastic experience.

We really enjoyed all 4 of these spots, and judging by the comments, I am thinking Capo's may just get a few more reservations in the coming weeks and months!
I am so thrilled for you winning, hugs from Canada, so enjoy you two,
Hugs back to you, Betty :)
☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼 scrumptious dining options!
They sure were, every one of them yummy. :)
Love every single episode!!! Congratulations on that nice win!!!
We love that you love our content - thank you!
Dale and Paula; thank you so very much! I love Black Bear Diner here in Denver, CO in the burbs! Great food! CAB 😊
We love that so many people have enjoyed the Black Bear Diner in other cities - makes us feel closer to you all! :)
CONGRATS ON THE WINNINGS !!! We have to check out those places !! Patti said 1st must be able to walk .She pulled a Durango Dale. !!SHE WILL Walk !! CHEERS .TWINS ! . .!!!
Ohh no - she hurt her knee?! Hope she gets better soon!
We are planning a trip in June and can't wait to try Capo's! Thank you for making these videos, my husband and I enjoy watching ❤
And we love it when people come to visit Las Vegas, and take our recommendations and try them. Makes us feel great!
Great video, as usual. Every place looks like a treat! Thanks for showing us how the locals do it!
We love to do that! There are so many Vegas based UA-cam channels, so we like to be a little different, show you how the locals live occasionally.
Those all looked fabulous and entertaining! Thanks!
Thanks as ever for watching :)
I love these off strip videos! We flew in yesterday and headed right to ellis island for lunch. It was terrific! Thanks for the recommendation
We love this - I read it out loud to Dale. We love when people come here to visit, and take our recommendations! Thanks so much for trusting us, and have a wonderful stay!
Great selection of places to visit, congratulations on your win looking forward to Paulas kitchen on Wednesday
Glad you liked it...and yep, kitchen action coming at ya tomorrow morning... :)
I know exactly what you mean about the darkness in Capos. We’ve been there and it was exactly the same for us. Great food and service there. Keep the food establishments coming!
Thank you so much - we are glad you like the food topic, because that does give us a lot more options to make interesting videos! :)
@@paulamckenzie We visit frequently and may retire there so your visits are appreciated. 😀
Congratulations on your granddaughter. God Bless!
Thanks so much! We FaceTimed with her last night for the first time - OMG we are in love.
This video was good! Thank you for showing us restaurants outside the strip.
Thank you so much - we are so glad you enjoy this kind of content. :)
Great Video as always, I Love these little vlogs within the big vlog, We have a Black Bear Diner here in Arizona We Really enjoy it. STAY SAFE BE BLESSED ❤❤
I love them too, Joy - a little vlog within a vlog! Great way to put it. :)
Love Capo's and I'm now thinking of going to Spaghetti Western. Thanks for sharing.
So glad to be sending you off to new dining delights! :)
@@paulamckenzie So pleased for you both. Bet you can't wait for that first cuddle 😘
Here's the thing: We are producing the equivalent of a 20-minute documentary every week, with really high production values, careful research, background music, etc.
@@paulamckenzie And 21k subscribers says that you are doing a great job!!!
@@paulamckenzie I’m sorry for your loss. That sounds like it was rough.
I have to say I’m very impressed with the work you both do. I hope your channel can grow to the point where you don’t have to work! I love your content. Thank you both very much for what you do❤️
@@MM-kh7nx 🥰
@@mchris6 you are most welcome - we truly do it because we enjoy it 😊
Fantastic video!!!!

I AM A BIG FAN OF YOU TWO!!!!! YOU THE BEST
CONGRATULATIONS
December i will be there
Have a good weekend
Thank you so much, and we look forward to welcoming you here, Fernando! 😌
You guys are so cute! I love watching your VLOG. Thank you for all the different ideas you send our way. 🙂
We will take "cute" and run with it - thank you! :)
Paula's NEW kitchen!
On its way - just 23 short hours from Riiiight Now! :)
Congratulations on your win!!
Oh it was a big deal - it was the first win of any significance since we moved south, so it was a good sign :)
All your videos are so interesting. Thank you.
Thank you - we do try to make them interesting, and informative too. :)
Such fun places to showcase! Congratulations on your win Dale!
They WERE fun, and unique - and that was actually the first notable win Dale had since moving south, so it was a big deal!
Thank you for sharing. Food looks delicious
Looking forward to Paula's kitchen
Best wishes from Julie South Africa
Hi Julie, and thanks as ever for watching! See you in the kitchen tomorrow :)
As always thank you for sharing
And thank YOU for watching...
Great win with the magic quarter!!
It sure was - and last weekend that same quarter scored him a taxable at PT's!! Woo hoo!
@@paulamckenzie Great!!! I hope he was just one big happy smile when it hit!
I'm with Buster Bud - come soon and stay long Teresa!!
Capo's is amazing. That Lasagna would make Garfield green with envy.
I wished I had ordered it when I saw it come out - yum!
Got to try a Black Bear Diner in St. George Utah for a huge breakfast before we hit the trails at Zion National Park. Was nice to know what I was walking into. So good.
I love this - that we are showing you a place that is in another town other than Las Vegas, and inspiring you to try it! PS - love Southern Utah.
@@paulamckenzie I was so glad I spotted it because we probably would have ended up at Cracker Barrel! Yes you helped us plan a perfect Vegas/Utah trip!
Really enjoyed the video. Appreciated all the effort you guys put into it.
Thank you so much for noticing - a lot does go into producing these for you, but it is truly a labor of love. :)
Another great video! I love Las Vegas and you guys show us everything that wonderful city has to offer!
We are really trying to show you everything, not just the Strip...and we think lots of you are liking that approach. :)
congratutions on your big win. yayyyyy
Yeah, that was a big deal because it was honestly the first decent win since we moved! He still holds that bent quarter every time he plays now...
@@paulamckenzie well noted. I have never really won anything big in Vegas so I am happy for your both and love your channel
loved it if i ever get back to vegas im going to capos thanks you two, your friend from kentucky
I hope you do! It's really fun, and different - you'll go home talking about it :)
Great video as always!!! Cheers from Oklahoma.
Cheers yourself - see you soon! :)
Congrats on the win! The quarter did it. 😉
You bet it did! And has done it a couple more times since...
It is different, and maybe not for everyone - but it is unique. And, bottom line, the kitchen is really excellent!
Love Black Bear Diner. Used to go to the one on Trop when we lived on the SW side of town. Definitely going to have to try Capo’s
Yes, try Capo's - it is a really unique concept, but behind it all is a fantastic kitchen with excellent recipes. Yum!
Amazing places! I have a "dejá vu", thanks for sharing.. Amigos.
Hola, amiga, y buenos dias! Thanks for watching :)
Very Good. I have never been to any of these places. I'm renting a car when I come in May so I will check these out. Thanks!
Wherever you end up, we hope you have a great adventure, do something new, and make great memories!
Paula, Italian food is my favorite. Wowwwwwwwwwwwww, this was so good. Thank you guys.
You are so welcome - you can tell we really enjoyed doing this!
thanks for sharing. capo's is on the list when i visit
It is really fun!! And terrific food too.
thanks for the sunday tour with you dale and paula and i look forward to seeing you paula back in studio k oh yes did you find our pie eating buddy yet --hehe
Nope, didn't find Durango...YET. But, we will definitely see you in Studio K tomorrow!
Loved all of those places.
So did we! I think you could tell...
Great video!
Thanks for coming along on our adventures :)
Wow! I always enjoy your videos . Can't wait to try one of these restaurants when we go to Vegas in July.
We hope you do - and then write and let us know what you thought!!
Wow! I want to visit Capo's speakeasy and Firelight Barn!
OK, shall I book you reservations? For how many? :)
thanks for yet another amazing show.....the food looks sooooo good!!!
It was all great - but that plate of bruschetta had to be the winner. Talk about presentation!
Another great vid
Thanks so much for coming along on our adventures :)
Crazy. Take care.
I am headed there today to meet some friends for lunch...and yes, I am gonna score a few black and white cookies for the road...cannot resist!
Wow! Everything looks delicious, and so much fun! I really enjoyed this Vlog!
Thanks so much for watching - we really enjoy showing you places that aren't necessarily right there in the resort corridor. :)
Awesome video some really cool places!! I hope Durango Dale is okay, all that delicious pie and he was nowhere to be found, hmmmm!!?? Btw, I’ll be in the garage with a set of pliers bending 40 or 50 quarters!!!
OK Dale and I both laughed out loud at this - GREAT!! Good Luck Al!!
Wow like I said keep up the good work David from Atlanta wow love it
We do try, David - somebody's gotta try all these cool restaurants, and we are happy to volunteer! :)
Yeah Another Video👏🏽
Y’all had me at pie🙈. I think of Dale, when I eat salad (since he skips the dressing). Capos looks great 🤠👍👍. Magicians at your table. OMG, I got chills when you won a thousand dollars🍀. I went to the Debbie Reynolds casino & the movie collectible tour too, 🌷
LOL so you are a good girl - you think about pie but eat salad!! And yes, Capo's is worth a visit, very fun place, and turned out to be very fortuitous to the keno player in the house!!
@@paulamckenzie Paula, I had a salad today, so I could have the salty margarita, Lol. Dales enthusiasm after 1000$ is priceless. 🍀🤠👍
Great video! I’m a local and I recommend Spaghetto! It is amazing food and we’re ranked best new restaurant by best of Las Vegas and the owner are Italian!
Thank you so much - we looked it up, and we will have to put it on our list. :)
@@paulamckenzie Sounds good! Enjoy!
@@paulamckenzie I sent you a photo of the horse’s head on FB Messenger.
You two beautiful people are awesome!!!!!
Aww what a nice thing to say...thank you :)
was at Capo's last year, and Ive been to Black bear on Trop many times. miss being in Vegas this Winter.
Oh you must have missed it - how many people counted on a Vegas getaway in the depths of winter? I surely hope that was the last one you are gonna miss...
I could use a bent quarter for good luck in Vegas. Great video guys have fun.
Ohh couldn't we all? I have to say, Dale holds that bent quarter every time he plays Keno now - it doesn't give him good luck every time, but it sure has a few more times since he got it. He won a nice big taxable last weekend! :)
Food looked awesome and i need a cow bell.
Breakfast series: The Henry, I always hear great things about their food
Staycation: Tuscany Suites, so far I haven't seen any vegas Vloggers go there
Well in truth I think we filmed those 4 segments in the space of two weeks, then collected them and put them together into one vlog. :)
Guys, I am back. Had to, because of the last place. Again, wowwwwwwwwwwww, it was super and I loved this show. You are the best. Thank you again.
You are welcome to come back as many times as you want - we love hearing from you!! If you ever get back to Las Vegas, and want a unique experience, check out the Firelight Barn. :)
