Las Vegas Downtown Arts District - The Surprising Side of This Great Town

- People say that Las Vegas is devoid of culture, but we have news for you: It is simply not so! Join us for a colorful walk through the vibrant and beautiful Las Vegas Arts District, roughly 18 blocks of art, theater, restaurants, bars, breweries, antiques and so much more. It's just dazzling!
Our first stop will be the very moving Las Vegas Community Healing Garden, a loving memorial to the lives lost at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on October 1, 2017. Then, we are going to tease a brand new hotel in the Arts District, opening in just a month or so: The English Hotel, from famed chef Todd English!
And onward: a stroll past the Arts Factory, the Real Results Gym, Brewery Row, and a stop inside the Conrad West Gallery. Don't miss a colorful minute!

Yes, you can - we walked ALL over the Arts District for 4 hours that day, and felt completely safe everywhere we went.
A fantastic video! Thank you for the shout out! 😎 We are already excited about the District - and this made us more than ready to return again! So many shops. So much to eat. And we need to visit the Healing Garden; we haven’t yet, and should on our next visit. The English looks interesting too! Can’t wait for you to show us! Thank you again for the wonderful content. LOL no, I don't think we smelled that smell at all in the entire afternoon we were there. Paint, and good food, were in the air!

It was very moving - I was quite emotional in there. I did film many of the individual memorials, but we didn't include them in the vlog - too personal somehow.

I'm reminded every Sunday and Paula's Kitchen how charming the two of you are in the supposed "sin city" landscape. Visiting the Arts District really opened our eyes too - and we are for sure going to go back without cameras and just pop into those antique stores and brewpubs!

The Healing Garden is very moving - you cannot help but be overcome when you're in there. We had a lot of footage of the actual individual memorials, but we didn't include it...too heartbreaking.

Thanks for another great video showcasing what's to see beyond The Strip and Fremont Street. Dale and Paula, perhaps you saw that Nevada Brew Works had their grand opening during the pandemic and was the focus of an episode of the series "Bar Rescue" several months ago because they needed expertise on how best to generate revenue during the pandemic, as well as improve operations for when things return to normal. I look forward to your tour of the new hotel.

It is very unique, worlds different from the Strip, and well worth a visit. Plan to have a craft brew and a meal while you're there!
Another professional and excellent video Dale and Paula! We sure enjoyed this one! It's so nice to see the Arts District is coming along nicely! Just a few years ago, there's no way we would walk around that area but now it's on our list of things to do! I would love to try a Cornish Pasty while exploring the Arts District - they look so delicious! I also would love to go through the Neon Museum! Thanks for showcasing the Arts District!
We agree - a few years ago we wouldn't go near it either, but we were there filming that day for 4 hours, all walking on foot, and encountered zero issues of any kind. It was wonderful!
My how that area has changed I remember driving through that area its like a place you don't want to be around. Stay safe and keep up the good vlog.
It has definitely been transformed in recent years, and it is a very nice place to be these days.

I love downtown Vegas, but I don't think I have ever ventured over to the Art district. This is now on my to do list for my next trip!
It's about a mile south of Fremont, but totally different in feel than what's under the canopy. No casinos, and a very vintage feel - we loved it.

No, I think it's going in the other direction. Small businesses are snapping up the properties, there are all kinds of plans for more eateries, attractions, shops, brewpubs - and the City of LV is 100% behind every bit of it.
Great video, me and my wife will be there in two weeks. Really want to visit the arts district. Is it safe to walk around there at night?
You know, we haven’t spent any time there at night, so we can’t say with any real knowledge. The Arts District has really evolved into terrific restaurants, bars, theaters, and nightlife…so I would venture to say, yes. 😊
