@claine89 all games "simultaneously" release on the same day. Not the same times due to time zones. If simultaneously doesn't mean for two consoles. The only other way i can see it listed simultaneously is If it drops around the world all at the same time. So explain what you mean by simultaneously

The renovations for nintendo in ny doesnt make sense for switch 2 because theyre doing those renovations this year. The renovations are for them to remove all of their wii u and 3ds/2ds stuff since they cant go online anymore

Im thinking if anything its between late november to March the console will release. If I was a betting man i would wage March 3rd to capitalize on the switch release date.
I also think gen 10 not releasing next year because if nintendo has a new console they want pokemon on it especially a new gen. I think ZA may be cross gen which might be why they havent shown anything of it because they didnt want to reveal anything that had to do with next gen nintendo.
1. year 2 always has stronger sales than year 1 and pokemon likes having the bigger base because it means more sales
2. they always like to do something to get acclimated to the new system which is why i think 2025 could be remakes of some kind, they did this with 3ds with dream radar, switch with the lets go games
3. it gives them a bit more time to prevent the issues they had with scarlet and violet and its glitches and quality issues
4. nintendo isnt waiting until 2028 for a new pokemon gen on the next nintendo console that would mean that we wouldnt get next gen pokemon till year 4 and if they did launch next gen 2025 it would mean sales are definitely going to be lower than SWSH and SV because its difficult to get a brand new console.
there is a bigger question about pokemon home, if the switch 2 has better specs? what if they upgrade nintendo switch online? and then pokemon home. I personaly feel like the pricetags will be raised in return for a better verzion of NSO and home. Because right now NSO really isn't competing against xbox game pass, and the PS5 edition of that.
Actually nso us doing a lot better then Playstation or Xbox because you get a lot of games with nso and it doesn't cost at least $60 for one person for one year. Nso is only about $20 for one person for one year

Just here me out, I personally believe the switch 2 is done. It's ready for mass production. But Sony hasn't had its ps portal out much longer than a year if that. No offense but it would be a big slap in the face to Sony to give them the full year/year and a half. Drop their new switch, and wait literally 1 year, (if sales go as projected) and troll Sony with the numbers 🤣 Microsoft is currently working on vr with meta. Not their main focus but fully working it into the sales is their goal. That's the next for them. Sony tried to make a switch look a like and Nintendo is fully ready to troll them. Prove me wrong 😂

I would respectfully disagree in prediction here, I believe Legends ZA is a Switch 2 launch title or title releasing soon after launch, not on the Switch 1, and we won't see gameplay until very late this year, after we know the Switch 2

Nothing, but companies release consoles every 7-9 years in order to keep up with the ever changing demands of newly released games. Newer games require newer hardware to run. It's normal for companies to release new hardware.
It's been 7 years, it needs a massive upgrade, cannot run on the same system for 7+ more years while all the new games get better graphics and all to the point where the current Switch won't able to handle it and hold back on games to work on such, also the Switch is so old and dated, it needs a boost in many fields, always improve, that's the motto
