Absolutely love that this product is out there and basically a "bolt on" replacement. Can't wait to see the review before buying! I'm curious how the volume adjustment is setup. Obviously it's in the touch screen. But is it a slider or "button" press? Would have been nice to see a single dial for sound, but that's a minor, personal preference.

No, I have sold the car. The radio worked great when I had it. CarPlay is a great addition to the Gen1 R8.

How did you run the USB wires?
I ran then them on the side of the center console.

I ended up selling the R8 and the review video was corrupted, sorry.
So what happened with this unit? Good?
I sold the R8, it was working great. No problem.
