The first succulent I got was a panda plant! My local grocery store was having a sale on mini succulents. I saw those adorable fuzzy little brown tips and my succulent obsession was born.
Same! I started with a succulent and named it Fireheart! Not warrior-based. Then the Mealybugs came.. I had to behead it, propagate all of the leaves, and all that stuff. So far it’s doing fine.
Lol, I told my wife i was going to get a panda and she about flipped... Thanks for the video!
I love this plant, it does well for me indoors in a west facing window.
I do wish you made close ups of the plants you're talking about, its hard to see any details from so far away!
Thank you for the feedback! I was trying to keep these simple to produce so we could do a lot this month. However, not including close ups was definitely an oversight.
And one we'll remedy in our next round of videos.
In the meantime, you can see a close up of the plants here:

Found this succulent dying in the clearance section at a TJ Maxx a year ago and now it’s thriving ❤️
Great job!
I love my fuzzy panda plant. One of it's stalks broke off once, and it grew aerial roots back into the old stalk and came back! Tough and pretty plants.
Both the "Panda Plant" and "Chocolate Soldier" are in my collection. The leaves are irresistible, and I feel like a little kid who can't stop touching something haha They look good with many other succulents; as as you said, are so easy to propagate. My kind of plant!
I've had a chocolate soldier since I first started my succulent collecting. And, I'm happy to say that it still is healthy and fuzzy! I love it for that, and the fact that it has 'chocolate' in it's name!
I have wanted one for so long but I'm one of those people that would rather propagate my own. I was able to get a very small cutting of a chocolate soldier and about 5 panda leaves . And you are so right, they are so much fun to watch grow! They are so adorable and I'm having so much fun growing them!
So thrilled that I found you!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉 !! The Chocolate Soldier is my FAVORITE ❤️❤️! Was given to me as a Memorial gift after my sweet bunny passed away. He is paired with nothing, just in a very special pot. 💖. I am going to watch more of your videos to up my Succulent education, thank you so much for your channel 🤩😍🤩🥰
So glad you're here!
Love all this info! Thank you. May I request maybe some close ups of the plants as you talk about them?
I have alot kalanchoe plants like Panda plant to chocolate soldiers, black tie, teddy bear, and snow white plants. They are very easy to take care of them.
Can’t believe the month is already over! I’ll miss these videos!
Thank you for following along! I will be back with more after I take a little break to breathe ;)

I'm loving this series! I've learned something new from every video, thanks so much.
I was wondering about the darkness of one of my Kalanchoe tomentosas and now I know..it's a "chocolate soldier"! Thanks for all the great info!
I love the fuzzy feel of the "panda." Thanks for the great info you've been sharing on the succulents.
I've recently purchased one of these. Can't wait to watch it grow!
This one is a favorite for sure!
Thank you! These are my son’s favorite!
I really enjoy succulents that are fuzzy! Thank you again for another great video!
These are definitely my easiest! And I love how quickly they fill out a pot.
Love, love, love my Panda plants. The fuzz is well.......fuzzy!
Another succulent I will have to try. Love the look of it.
Another one (or two!) I want to try! Thank you for the great information you have given us this month!
I love the soft fuzzy leaves on this succulent! Thank you for the great information!
I have one of each....and love them!💕
These are so adorable. I love the fuzzy leaves. My sister has a gorgeous panda plant
These are so cute!!!
One of my favorites, found a top half of a leaf the other day with sprouted roots outside on planting table thanks for all the info
Exciting new succulents!
I am so in love with these darlings! I found one recently after it had been on my wishlist for a while. It’s one of my favorites, and as you said, it’s super easy to care for 💚 I hope it gets really big! I plan to try propagating it in spring. Glad to know it’s summer dormant, I was wondering why it hasn’t grown much since I got it. Thanks again, Cassidy!
Love the panda plant. I tend to use them when gifting to other succulent-loving friends/acquaintances
This is one of my favorites!
Oh I’m glad to know this succulent grows well in sun. I’ve had mine in a shader area.
I think that I have a leaf of one of these, and its growing roots!!!! M so excited! Thanks for the video!!!
I have both. Love kalanchoe
Love your videos and tips for plants I either already have or that I am looking to add to my collection.
I love mine, it’s so pretty and easy. It’s grown so much already in my care!
Love the little blue pots you've used for these great succulents.
Thank you! I got them on Amazon :)

Thank you for another tips . I love watching your video ...
I just propagating a few of these and you are so right!!!! Cutest babies ever!!!
So cute!
I just bought a chocolate soldier last week. So enjoyed your video about it and panda plant. Love the fuzzy leaves and look forward to adorable fuzzy babies!
I could see this plant looking great with a number of other plants in an arrangement. It looks very versatile.
I love these furry plants. Pretty easy to maintain.
I have a beautiful "Chocolate Soldier" although I didn't realize it was summer dormant!! And you are so right leaf propagation takes some real patience and know how!! Thanks for another great video!!
I grow this one indoors. It doesn’t need me to fuss over it. Thanks for the helpful hints!
Chocolate soldier was the first succulent I bought. I love it!
These are cute little guys. Gonna have to add them to my collection. Congratulations on you getting us through all 30 succulents and 30 days.
Thanks for following along Don!
I love this plant, and different types of kalanchoe. I have the panda plant, the cinnamon, the milliotti, calandiva, and others.
this is the first succulent i failed with, watching your videos before I attempt getting a new one :)
Did not know this was summer dormant. Ty!!! Also growing a little baby right now!! I noticed this one is taking a lot longer then all my other ones. It will be worth it though!
I would like to give this is a try. I appreciate the tips on cold climates and watering.
Am I right that this is the last video in the 'Succulent Party'? I have enjoyed these videos so much! I've looked forward to seeing your sweet face each morning and learning more about these plants. I hope you do another daily series of videos soon. In the meantime, I'll enjoy your many other videos and your website.
Thank you! Yes, this is the last one for now. I'm going to "breathe" for a month or two and will be back with more. We'll also be focusing on classes for our Succulent Lovers Club. I'd love to have you join!

I love these, panda plant and chocolate soldier. I keep mine in both, indoors and outdoors. Panda plant is one that I usually plant with other succulents. Thanks for the video didn’t know it was summer dormant.
Thanks for the video! Love the panda plant!
I rescued a panda plant, it is stretched from no care at the store. I’m so glad you did this video, I hope I can help/save it!!!!
Pleasant video
Thanks for yet another informative video ... yes I have some moving to do again ... seems like they are needing more 🌞 !!! Thanks for the arrangement ideas !!!
I had said before that Kalanchoes are some of my favorites and these fuzzy guys are my favorite of the Kalanchoe Plants! I have both of these babies and they grow so well! And I've also propagated it a lot this year although the process is very slow!
Succulents with Texture I have to have. Love my panda plant !
I love my panda plant. It was my first succulent and is still doing great. Definitely the easiest for begginers.
I love pandas, and their furry kalanchoe friends! Mine are potted alone because I’m learning.
Thank you for introducing me to a new succulent!!
I have a few of each. They love it when I completely ignore them. And I’m not a really good ignorer type gardener. Those leaf babies are adorable but they sure do take their time growing.
So sad that this series is over. I hope to see more video like this in the future. They were great! Hoping to get a panda plant soon, they are so cute!
Thank you for following along! I will be back with more after I take a little break to breathe ;)

I am new at tnis so i listen to you a lot, so thank you
You are very welcome!
I enjoy pairing these with other fuzzy kalanchoe. When everything grows in you get a lovely fuzzy overload!
I love the Panda plant and have them in my outdoor containers. Now, I am trying my luck and just brought a small pot inside to bring some beauty during chilly weather! Hope it works. Thank you for all the tips.
Love these! I am trying to grow them indoors using Bonsai Jack’s gritty soil. 😉
You had me at fuzzy little babies☺️
2:45 - believe me if I can give anything more “summer” it would be me in January! Lol!
Thanks for the great information. Love those planters! 😀🌵
Thank you! I got them on Amazon :)

I have one and it's doing well!
I find these can be really forgiving and one of the easier indoor succulents to grow. I may have to go back to HD and grab that Chocolate Soldier.
Excellent information and video , as always. Many thanks!!
You are very welcome! Thanks for the feedback🙂
I am so excited. I have propagated this plant. It was a little harder.
My kids favorite fuzzy plant. We have great success leaf propagating
Great info! I just purchased one of these!
I am definitely learning a pattern here...greenish/blue succulents definitely have the best chance to grow indoors since there isn't much color to lose. I like the names too...Panda, Chocolate Soldiers...my kind of plants. Just wish my climate was more tolerant to year round outdoor growth...besides the cold, there's just too much snow here.
I have the one with brown tips. I love it and it does propagate easily.
those brown tips disappeared on my panda plant what can i do to get them back?
Excellent video!
This is another variety I would love to have! I'll take chocolate!
My Kalanchoes love full sun when acclimated. The lovely leaves are hard to clean because sand and hair gets embedded in the fur, but it's worth it!
same. the leaves are dirty forever!
So sad this is the last video in this series😫 really enjoyed it thank you!!!
Thank you for following along! We'll be doing more eventually after I catch a breath ;) We're also focusing on some classes for our Succulent Lovers Club and would love to have you join!

👍 thank you!
My all time favorites. I have 5 cultivars (Panda,Chocolate Soldier, Golden Girl,Black Tie and Teddy Bear).Great video with accurate information. Thanks
It is gorgeously tactile, I love stroking those little leaves. I have propagated from a leaf. Very slow but the babies are cute
I gave one as a gift once, but don’t have one myself. May have to remedy that! I’d love to propagate and see the fuzzy little babies:)
I have a chocolate soldier baby! It’s so cute!
Thank you, love your videos! It would be nice to see a close up of the plant as you are talking about it.
Thanks for the feedback :)
It’s so fluffy! I could die!!
I have a couple because my teen loves them. The fuzzy ones aren't my favorite. Good to know they can be happy inside. I haven't had much luck propagating by leaf.
I have one of these! Haven’t killed it yet
I have the panda plant but have never combined it with other succulents. Since I bought some new plants at the Succulent Extravaganza, including some that you taught us about...bear's paw is one...I will plan to include a cutting from my panda plant, and now I want the chocolate one too!
I love the fuzzies
I put my in direct sun but it started to look sickly. I stuck it in a big "nursery" pot and just left it alone with a little water now and then. Ba-da-boom in less than 4 months I have 3 nicely grown plants from one little one. Fuzzy love.
