Our Gauges have been tested in extreme heat (over 300 degrees Fahrenheit) and extreme cold (-10 degrees Fahrenheit) and still function as intended. They are sealed so there is no need to be concerned about condensation on the gauge either. We have gauges that have been installed for over 10 years and still function even after many cold winters and hot summers.

where does the wire plug into?

The display cable in the video plugs into the control box. That control box then connects to the OBD2 port with another harness supplied with the gauge.

This should fit a 2018 Jetta SE right?

As long as this is the vent that you have then yes. If you have the newest gen Jetta then it will not. (however, we're about to release our gauge for that as well)

This product is fantastic! Could not be happier. However, do not follow any part of these install instructions. Take about 35 seconds to actually look at the vent after simply removing the bottom two rungs, without taking off any trim whatsoever, mind you. Then you will see that one or two cuts with a Dremel and you are pretty much done. There is absolutely zero need whatsoever to remove any trim or any vent. You 100% will break something if your car has any age on it at all. You can literally make a hole on the forward, facing part of the vent inside, and then run the line without any problems. It literally takes about three minutes. Again, do not follow these instructions. They are not great.
