Sweet. One of the few cars with 7 cup holders. Glad they kept this most important feature from the 2nd gen. Yet I'm missing the cigarette/phone holder in the middle console.
When I drove my aunt's new 2024 Ignis just last weekend I almost got in an accident because the brake pedal went to the floor, and then I noticed the brakes actually don't bite until 5-6 centimeters of pedal travel in. It doesn't even build pressure before them. At the Suzuki dealer they said that "That brake pedal travel behavior is normal", and if it really is normal I personally find it to be a deathtrap on wheels and an unguided missle for all other traffic on the road. So my big question to you as someone who owns or has driven this Ignis... is that brake travel deadzone of 5 to 6 centimers normal?
No, it is not. I own that car as well and the break pedal is very responsive and I had only had to press it lightly in most cases to stop the car. The car itself is pretty light and it stops cleanly and easily. That dealer is certainly lying. I would definitely suggest getting the opinion of a different Suzuki dealership/expert.
@sejuanisupportonly7385 Drove a different Ignis at the dealership. The brakepedal was the same. Yes, the brakes respond properly but much deeper into the pedal travel than my own BMW E46 3-series. A Suzuki Ignis remains a shitbox of a car in my eyes because the brake system is not what I am used to, but it might be fine for normal people. Having driven performance cars myself it certainly isn't up to my standards. Lancia Delta, Alfa Romeo 156, and the BMW E46 are the cars I have owned and well maintained. The BMW is the first car I also fitted with Goodridge stainless steel brake hoses instead of OEM rubber ones, but before that and the other cars all braked as soon as I touched the brake pedal.
@@LogiForce86 In that case, maybe it is just a case of being used to the performance car break tuning. Those cars need to have much larger and more responsive brakes. In my case I've only had a 30 year old family car that was of similar caliber to the Ignis. Thus, in comparison, the Ignis' brakes seem perfect to me. Also, it might be a case of a totally different driving style. If you are used to driving such cars, then the driving style that applies to performance cars is not really compatible to the differently tuned Ignis. This is not a small matter since I've seen people say that the Ignis does 5.6 liters/100km and I do 4.8 liters/100km. I use standard fuel, so this means only one thing, a much more agressive style of driving. Thus the bottom line is that maybe that car suits your aunt's driving style, but not yours.
@@pushthethrottle I have never met or heard anyone that was happy with CVT, and the cars with it from the 1990`s was all disasters if I remember (high fuel consumption, lot of noise and lot of trouble with the gearing). Suzuki is one of most underrated car makers in the world. One of the best car maker for the money.
I've already bought two! 2016 version and 2021 version!
Nice video. Thank you!
Thank You!
Good driving in the rain 👍

The brakes of the Ignis are not the best, but at least it didn't have the problem you have got. It can be smth wrong with your brakes.
100 agree with you!
La ce preț asa mașină? Exista și versiunea 4×4?
There is an AWS version. It is around 21000 euros.
Not so expensive Thanks!👍@sejuanisupportonly7385

😂😂
Look not bad, but sounds awful
The manual version sounds better (it is actually pretty quiet), since none of that CVT over-revving is needed to get to the speed you like.
