While i just LOVE full size 4x4s , sometimes smaller is better. i've modify my 30+ years old lada niva (you know, 1.7 with measly 70 hp) with double low, 5cm lifts all around and it will go everywhere those big ones do and more (deep mud excluded). for daily driving and occasional green lanes ignis is good enough.at least you were willing to takea risk to be laugh at and still have fun.
@@easy4x4 to be fair, it's more like "let's Jerry rig two different t-cases and make it compatible with stock driveshaft" . Not exactly street legal stuff, but it gets where big boys can't 😁😁
Yes. If you don't need storage space! It feels quite spacious inside, but remember it's limitations (no boot and a weak engine) and you won't be disappointed.
Hi, last week I ordered my third IGNIS .For us it's a second car but we all love it because of it's variable and quite comfortable space inside and for shopping you allways find a parking lot. Recommendation ! Greetings from germany, Wolfgang
Gracias
I think the whole car was lifted because there was that small pile of dirt under the car and none of the wheels had any traction whatsoever. You can see just moments before the towing even the rear right wheel was spinning in the air
@@Lordoss Yes and my 1993 model Opel Astra with rally suspension (lowered 5cm in front, 2cm higher at the rear) had more travel in the suspension then this, meaning it would not lift the wheel like that so easily and not get all wheels in the air and hang on a bump that easily. But with that car when you get stuck, you was stuck real good and had to be towed, almost like on a AWD lol ;)
Gas tope!!!
Ohhh you again!!! Hahahaha you wanted to play with the BIG guys!!! Well i am not wondering, why you changed the clutch in such a short time!!! If you want to do this stuff, buy a jimny. Neither vitara allgrip are suitable for such a terain.
Hi ! What tire model and size are you using?

At least you have low range in a Niva!! 😁

Hey! Cool video! I tried finding this protection you have for under the engine, but was unlucky. Could you tell me where you got it from? Thanks
It's the standard Suzuki one. A dealer should be able to order it for you.
@@easy4x4 they say there is no such OEM part. I thought it is an aftermarket one
@@13torrro NO!!
@@easy4x4 OK, I’ll try my luck somewhere else. The official distributor doesn’t offer it. Thanks for your replies 🤙
Which country are you in? That's probably the problem
Would you recommend this car for daily use and occasional unpaved roads?

@@wolfgang7513 thank you
bravo, must have been fun but also nerve wrecking initially .
Bit nervous at the beginning but great fun 😀
Hi! Does everyone know what was the type of tires he used? Size and model? Or any good similar off road ones to suggest?
Hi. Ive put Ziarelli mud power 185/65 r15 on. Check out the full video. ua-cam.com/video/PhtTq_hc_Bg/v-deo.htmlsi=5gp1WNmyh2TCg9sq
What tyres are you running there?
@300bhpton Ziarelli mud power . 15" steelies . Remoulds. Too loud on road

@@easy4x4 muchas gracias Simon 😀
What type of tires does the Ignis have?
hi, these aare Ziarelli Mud Power MTs, remolds, 185/65r15, but not recommended as they are really noisy on road
Thanks for the advice. I'm looking for more aggressive tires for my ignis, but unfortunately I can't find anything.@@easy4x4
Nice video Simon! One question, when you reverse trying to help the guy towing you out of trouble, why is the Ignis not enganging all 4 wheels?
Because it's crap 😅😄😬

Wonder if the Jimny would manage this course
Of course it would. It's a proper offroader. The Ignis is a soft roader
Car is good, would be a lot better if the hybrid system worked in cool weather.
Ive never noticed if it works or not in any weather ! 😄

A lift kit could make it much more capable
It has the 4cm kit and slightly bigger tyres. It's now 22.5 cms. Not bad !! The limit is the 4x4 AWD system
they did this car so ugly, is like the designers used hate to project this in reality
Why? It's a little cute boxy car
