2.2D was tested at 15°C while the 2.5T was done under 33-34°C. Under the same temperature condition, I think both engines should perform more or less the same.
It's funny because the more powerful 2.5t was slower than this one :)

I have 2021 CX-5 2.2 D in Japan, completely stock, 0-100 is 7.1, but I noticed different gas stations companies fuel affect acceleration a bit.
Why there are less diesel car in japan?

@@chaikianhee841 cold air is more dense hence more oxygen gets to the engine instead of the high temperature one
