This is great! I'm very interested. I restore furniture and since I'm a perfectionist it takes a looooong time. The idea of just flipping for profit without quite so much work would be a great thing to ad to the mix while I'm staining and painting away...
Wow.. I know you!! you taught me how to get into the clothing industry!! Gotta say, you seem to be the man with the plan!! lol.. thank you for some great business ideas to make some extra cash!!! this man has great advise..
We have an old building it was a resterant I have tons of vintage chairs probably from 70s or 60s in the building and have no clue where to start not only chairs there's tables booths and everything the resterant had. I was going to scrap it but then I had an idea of fixing them up is it worth it? Should I start with a set of two or four or what do u recommend I would really appreciate guidance thanks
I didn't know people were flipping furniture....I just happened up on this channel looking for ideas on how to sell furniture that I have, namely a coffee table, lamps and maybe the sofa& love seat if finances don't change, they are brand new, purchased in 2012 never used.....I don't want to deal with Craigs list I've heard too many bad things....I think that I will take some pics send it to family with the price....and see if they know someone......if you have some ideas that will be great
Funny but true. I wouldn't wear lipstick because People put a price on things, as a seller and a buyer. So people can make $, as long as someone puts a price on what they are willing to pay.
I love to restore furniture and resale it for a higher price. Hoping you can give me some advice on starting a business so i can make this my full time job. Great video!
Hope your doing gpod man . im getting my self into that game but instead of buying i myself see that people are throwing away nice furniture free money to be made man
hey carl. ordered your course ,and wondering if you will be making a second one? like one that talks about what to look for, and go more into depth about your craigslist ads.
Brad Speckman hi Brad, at the moment, I don't have plans to make a second course. There are so many niches to go into and it would be hard to create a course on 'what to look for' with such a varied interests by many... Have you had any success in finding great deals and making a flip?
hey carl, yes I've had some success. my mom found these real nice iron chairs awhile ago, and was wondering if you can help sell them. if interested, can you message me your email? thanks!
I went to my 1st estate sale and bought a settee w/queen Ann legs and shiney floral print fabric. I couldnt find anything on the internet that looks like it.Can I send you a pic?
Raddy McBarknuckles true. I watched a video, however, from a couple who does this, that said Fedex or UPS will pick it up for an extra $75 or so, but you can factor that cost into the price you’re selling it for.
Here's the problem: This "advice" isn't free, and that's where I draw the line. If this business was so successful, you wouldn't be trying to SELL it to us and you wouldn't be trying to make a profit off it. You could easily make a blog or web series and make money off UA-cam ads. Don't try and make us give you credit card information to learn your "secrets". That's an amateur business strategy.
And your attitude is why you will remain broke. Mr. Ross, I have followed him for years and he is straight up and honest. You are just one of those people who will always find excuses to not do something. Well that is your life. Stay broke.
Free information is rarely valued or acted upon. Your "logic" makes no sense. If that were true, then medical training that someone would pay for would be worthless, because if a medical practice were really bringing in money, then they wouldn't be selling training, they'd just be doing the medical practice. It's called "multiple streams of income".
zoheret15 You'll likely need to deal with companies that specialize in crates and freights. THey're expensive, but when dealing with higher priced valuables, the clients usually don't mind paying the fees to get those items delivered. Depending on where it's going, you might even use transporter services. Shop around to get quotes from multiple sources.
I have a lot of "Moroccon"/"Middle Eastern furniture and items. How would you recommend I go about selling it? It's in good condition I just know a lady in Beverly Hills who downsized...Help!!
My grandfather made a living doing this and took it one step further because he was also interested in upholstery. For some items he would re-upholster and raise the value. By no means is this a get rich quick scheme. He supported a wife and 7 kids COMFORTABLY in the 40s, 50s and 60s and retired early.....all through flipping furniture.
Dude there alot of people doing this it's nat a get rich quick scheme if you look on craiglist and offer up you'll start to notice same people upload constantly do you think these people have 1000 couches at their homes?? Or maybe they buy cheap and sell the for double or triple
Something feels really OFF with this guy!! I think flipping furniture in essence is a good idea, but his energy feels very bad. I would caution someone from having dealings with him. My instincts say RUN people, run!!
That's b/c he is a black man!!!!!! If he was a white man u would have left a positive comment. Black ppl r out of their league when they know how to make money in a way that is not illegal. Woe unto u u wicked racist
Been doing this for years! It's a lot of fun and the auctions around where I live are really cheap! I buy for $1-$10 and sell for $100+
Damn what you sellv

Where do you sell most. What platform is best for your chairs
I appreciate that info, but if someone really buys that rocking chair for $3000 I will put on lipstick and wear dress(as a man)
😂😂😂😂
Funny but true.
I wouldn't wear lipstick because People put a price on things, as a seller and a buyer. So people can make $, as long as someone puts a price on what they are willing to pay.
Yes , people do buy it for that amount . My boos is a great example, they are use fo bettering furniture ideas.
Someone will definitely buy it
Where do you list/ find buyers?
I love to restore furniture and resale it for a higher price. Hoping you can give me some advice on starting a business so i can make this my full time job. Great video!

Keep in mind you have to have a place to put all this stuff & a way to transport it.

insaneapples Your logic is a very stupid one.
And your attitude is why you will remain broke. Mr. Ross, I have followed him for years and he is straight up and honest. You are just one of those people who will always find excuses to not do something. Well that is your life. Stay broke.
I have to agree with this

Oh, and amateur business strategy would be to try to monetize something like this with Adsense ads.
