Hi Kevin! I watched all 4 parts. I am a furniture repurposer... (I know that's not a word!!) thanks for all of your detailed advice!!! I have about 5 pieces right now and you really helped me to know more of which products I should be using to give my work better quality. Thank you!!!
+Butta ThaBombshell You're welcome. Glad to help!
I can believe I just find this guy omg you are a genius $$$
Do you have a tutori-o on that background??? It is awesome. Love your vids! :)
The wonky plaid wall background? No, I didn't make an videos on that. The wall was already painted white, so we added the lines using a wide 2" tape in the wavy pattern. We sealed the tape down tight with a squeegee, then roll painted over the tape edges with the same white to seal them in. Once that was dry, we painted the deep blue (a couple of coats), then peeled the tape once the blue paint was just about dry to the touch, but not fully cured. We barely had any white touch up to do at all using this method (just a handful of tiny spots that we were able to take care of with a small artist's brush).
Thanks for explaining! Your videos are great! Please keep making these! :)
speaking of prices.....isn't it a shame that we have no real value in furniture that we purchase now.....Even some of it is plastic.....who wants a piece of furniture that is plastic....get online and see some of the wonderful old pieces made of solid woods like oak....nothing more beautiful than a fine piece of furniture made of oak.....warm color not too dark not too light.....and (sit down).....it cost less than that idiotic piece of plastic they are trying to unload on you We should refuse to purchase such cheap trash.....Thank you FEDERAL RESERVE......before you started robbing the American people the prices remained constant....now all the value of everything of any value at all proudly sits in the bottom of your pocket with all the lint from your old clothes you are too cheap to toss out...because of your stinginess........
