@@christopherwilson6527 Good. It should be pretty cheap to fit. Apart from the software pretty much all the actuators already exist and just need to be connected.
I wonder what it does for comms when "automatically landing at the nearest airport". How does that work at a busy airport? Squak 7700 and hope everyone gets out of the way?
Robert Larson It calls the air traffic control tower, which would declare it as an emergency and clear the runways. However, I’m not sure what would happen at an airport w/out a tower - I just know that it prioritizes controlled runways first. It probably would account for other aircraft in the vicinity before landing.
All good, just one question, how reliable is Garmin? Does Garmin take responsibility in case something goes wrong,or it's on you the pilot/owner ? Is there any backup ?
Not even that! It does everything from planning the approach to doing gear and flaps and includes the flare and braking. It even shuts off the engine and the screen shows passengers how to open the door for egress. This is a continuation of an aviation evolution/revolution.
Why do you need one? Glide and land as per training. You only need a parachute if you’re in the middle of the ocean, forest or a wing comes off. For everything else, fly the aircraft
Turns out its actually just another pilot hiding behind the dashboard that flies the plane. He came with the plane.
They're called Aircraft Jockeys, handy little buggers. :D
For the price it should
Makes sense.
Why am I studying to become a pilot?
SorenJohnk because flying is a best action for people 👍👍👍
It's worth it ;)
Good question ! Look deep within your soul... Is your spirit calling you to heights above the clouds?
Fun and awesomeness
Because you have 100k to burn?
I hope it can also operate the radio to give the emergency airport some sort of clue that you are landing.
yes it does........
Yep it does.

This plane is so smart, it can do without a pilot.
Alright, I'm sold, you can deliver at your convenience to my home base of TIW.
Very impressive. Great for families that want piece of mind. Great Job Piper
*peace😂
@@giripra5admaybe he wants to give us a piece of his mind
Very nice
• Cheers from Mettetal Airport. Canton - Plymouth Michigan ✈️
What's the sticker on this and does it come in cherry red?
Does it play the Halo: Combat Evolved sountrack through the speakers tho?
Right?!
I don't know about you but to me the video music sounds pretty fitting
Beautiful!
A garmim sempre um passo a frente com inovações em sistemas de navegação para a segurança do voo.( em emergência).

See and avoid...plus it probably announces legs on the airport freq.
@@Styno401 How does it "see"? ADS-B I guess in the future. Not quite there yet.
@@robertl30 The "see & avoid" part is up to the rest of us.
@ Robert Larson. We’ve had TCAS II and PCAS for decades.
cirrus aircraft Has the same feature with canopy
Thats a neat trick…… does it contact the tower to be slapped into a holding pattern?
Microsoft flight sim 2020 looks great!!!
awesome, just need 3 millon to feel safe
Lol.. it has more features then a airliner..
Cool! Would love to try it! :-D
Super Smart and Necessity Invention!
great aircraft
How does it communicate with ATC?
Donizete Braganca pt SP Brasil ✈✈✈✈✈✈
Does it auto alert ATC and the tower with a mayday?

That's more than one question, but still waiting for answers
My dad bought a Piper M600 SLS with a registration N600EL
Uh huh
Super💪💪
Send me more information please
Try that in heavy weather, perhaps the runway is under construction, and in mountainous terrain. Let me know how that works for you.
Remember technology fails... Remember the MCAS...
True, but the alternative was already crashing, so you are none the worse off.
Either you simply crash, or you crash on your way to the airport with a 50% chance. I’d take the second
Vision jet also has auto land!!!!!!!!!!!
So all the pilot would gave to do is lower the gear and flaps?
Flyboy1986
Nope that’s all automatic as well and brakes....

YEP, pretty cool if something happens to the pilot...
Parr 4 the Course someone has to hit the button though 🤷🏻♂️

YEP, I guess that should be part of your passenger pre-flight briefing-HA!
But still no parachute??

It's a large aircraft, never going to happen. I've been flying over 20 years commercially never needed one either. Why do you.
😀👍
Is it me or does everyone like building single engine turbines btw isn’t bad but still
