Looks like it’s got away really nicely considering the heat it had. How come it takes so long before you can replant red clover in the same field 🤔🤷♂.
Thanks for the great video Dan,it's great education on ow to sow clover, was thinking of introducing clover into our suckled to beef farm here in South longford southern Ireland. Thanks😢.Helen.
Saw that they were talking about also giving more sulphur for the clovergrass after analyzing the silage, don t know if that s the same conditions in GB.
Dan, you mentioned in previous video that ph was adequate. Would you consider using lime to counteract any toxicity from the decaying greenery after glyphosate. It can affect germination?
Gr eat job looks like its growing well 👍have you considered a legumes and herb mix GS4 under stewardship you get paid for ut and its nitrogen fixing so don't need fertilizer might be worth considering I didn't know you had to leave it that long between seeding of red cover Thanks for the info 👍
Wonder if a bit of poly sulphate might be a good job for fertiliser for that red clover ley. We used a k and sulphur fertiliser when we were growing pure stands of red clover but given we had problems with calcium availability think it should’ve been poly sulphate we used
Good day Dan. Perhaps a question answered before, but what was the reason you guys left organic Farming? Knowing a little bit about the relatively low milk prices in the UK. Some kind of organic milk price bonus doesn't seem that onattractive to me.
Hi dan i like the way you let the spray work before you cultivated to many spray then are in with hours if it takes hours to be rain fast i think it should be days before you cultivation on

Maybe possible to power harrow and roll at the same time saving some time and diesel, but there is of course a width difference as is now.

Why do you have leave a 5 to 7 year gap after growing clover

Glyphosate needs six days before it can be cultivated
That's what I thought but there seems to be a lot who don't leave it that long
