Which of these foods have you tried before?
What should the Mamahs try next?!
I’ve had none and I’m missing out 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Pad Thai.
Lebanese food, Turkish food, Maltese food, Italian food.
Thai food is my absolute favourite. I think Thai red curry is better than green. Tom Yum and Tom Kah soups are amazing!
Mamas should try Vietnamese if they haven’t already.
Hawaiian
My mom is from Mexico and my dad is from Thailand. They met here in the US obviously. But they love eachothers food. My dad will throw down on a whole platter of tacos and my mom eat sticky rice with anything, curry, larb, pad ewe...all of it.
Wow you are so lucky to have both cultures in your household. I bet your home smelled amazing at mealtime!
Oh wow my two most favorite cuisine. Mexican food is really expensive here in Thailand because it usually target American expat!
You got the best of both worlds 😭
Im jealoussss
So your family have two of the best cuisine in the world? Lucky! I'm Thai and I love mexican food so bad. These two made a really good fusion food too.
As a Thai registered dietitian, I am so happy to see the moms try Thai foods and even happier to know that they like the foods a lot! I think many dishes served were already adapted to meet the taste profile of westerners, so it would be very interesting to see their reactions on the foods supposed they visit Thailand and try the ones being sold here. 🥰
Agreed about the adapting to westerners...I remember Tom Yum being extremely spicy when I tried it in Thailand (which I loved 😍) and also every time I had it after. It's one of my favorites!
I love how positive Monica always seems to be. She enjoys the tastes of food and she is so enthusiastic when she really likes something.
She’s also really well versed! Love to see that
I love how everyone is so open to trying something new. It's surprising that there are so many foods that they haven't tried before, but I'm glad they have the opportunity.
Not all of us can afford to go to nice places to enjoy international foods. Sometimes to get the best it'll cost a pretty penny. And other's like my grandfather not sure about my grandma since they're both have passed away so can't ask, but my grandpa was old school and old fashioned. He never wanted to try any new foods, just what he grew up with and my abuelita's cooking. 😂😂😂
I'm a Thai person who finds some foods confusing. Some dishes don't seem like authentic Thai food. For example, green curry - Thais definitely don't eat it the way it's often presented, with broccoli and carrot. A proper green curry should have solanum pea eggplants, round eggplants, and Thai basil leaves. Similarly, pad kee mao (drunken noodles) is missing fresh black pepper and fingerroot. The media channel should do more thorough research on Thai cuisine.
They’re something you will find in Thai restaurants overseas but not in Thailand
@@soriyakanjanapong1465 Make sense👍
Same here
Well it's filmed in Pomona CA. They didn't pack up a whole crew and the talent and fly to Bangkok.
This is a lot lol
But I have another channel I watch where they try things
I agree… like even learn how to prepare it authentically and then present it if you can order it
Because is the culture that is being represented
I still thoroughly enjoy
Thai food is VERY underrated! They use fresh ingredients just like Mexican food!
We agree!
Not really.... it is known and very delicious. Every southeast Asian foods from the Indochina area is so flavorful and have exotic ingredients.
Thai food isn’t underrated loads of people are familiar with the country and it’s cuisine. Cambodian food is literally never featured and still unfamiliar to many.

@@ernestotorres6151where are you from?
Isn't it amazing how many similar flavor profiles Mexican and Thai food share despite being on opposite sides of the world?
Can we try to stop with this Mexican vs Asian debate?
A lot of hispanic cultures share similar taste profiles, this isn't just Mexican.
Yes! We both use a lot of lime, tamarind, chilies, etc. My Mexican friends and I used to call it the “cilantro connection” when we would cook together
@@bryantg8749lol read the tittle Mexican moms taste(try)… that why people make references to mex flavors or foods. Hello
i think it got to do with nearing the equator, you got similar herbs, citrus, pepper, vegetables, coconut profile. hence the usage might be different but it gave similar profile as it evolves around the same type of plants.
Lulu knows where its at. A good Thai green curry is one of the best things, Its an elixir of life.
I'm a huge fan of Lulu....she tells it like it is! Love the way she laughs too...
She’s the cool mom you want and need 😂
HELL YEAH!!!!! On other videos I see too many people talking bad about her. I try to defend her when I can, I mean not everyone is going to like the same thing and she keeps it 💯💯💯 she don't give a f**k if she's liked or not. She keeps to her own opinion and not try to please the masses!!! 💕💕💕
So glad to see Martha back 😊
Monica is the sweet caring mother you want and Lulu is just the cool mom you want.
She’s like a big kid herself & I can’t tell if she says “Foo or Fool” 🤣… either way she’s awesome 😎
Thai and Mexican cuisines share a remarkable similarity in spirit, even though they use different ingredients. It feels as if our culinary traditions are like long-lost siblings, connected by a deep appreciation for bold flavors and vibrant dishes.
In Thailand, we don’t use lemon , it’s lime. Guys, come to Thailand! There are many more authentic Thai food!
Most mexicans also use lime, but its a bit confusing because in Spanish, lime is "limón" which sounds like lemon. 😅 they switch between spanish and english a lot so it's hard to know which they're talking about. But most mexicans i know always use lime.
Either way, I'm sure they'd love to visit Thailand! It's such a beautiful place with a rich culture.
@ I see! Thanks
Ahhh, they're so lucky to get all of this in one sitting! Thai food is my second favorite cuisine, right after our own. Tom kha gai gives caldo de pollo a run for it's money, lol 😍
monica is my favorite!! she is always so open to stuff and i love her personality!!
Monica is very often voted the best cook, too, when they try each other's cooking. I love them all.
Martha is back finally!
I was a Thai exchange student in USA, Mexican and Chinese food had saved my life😂
My mother used to try and make different kinds of from Europe and she couldn’t replicate it. She did make Puerto Rican food deliciously. She was a great cook.
I’m Thai. I appreciate you all trying some Thai food here. I hope the taste is authentic though. I know some restaurants adapt it to match what people in that country are familiar with. Like Thai food in the US, they are too sweet.
I cooked for my Méxican host family when I was an exchange student there. They loveeeee them a lot. They even bought fish sauce after I return to Thailand.😂
Pad Kee Mao is always supposed to be eaten with a variety of side condiments to flavor to customer’s individual taste: 1) sugar, 2) fish sauce - salty/savory, 3) chili flakes - spicy, 4) vinegar.
Muchas gracias for you like thai food ! i really love your food too!! Love and hug from Thailand ❤❤❤
I knew that curry would be a hit. Everybody from my family that I’ve introduced it to loves it.
Can we just pause for a moment to appreciate how many similarities are there between Thai and Mexican cuisine? Amazing
As a Thai, I'm delighted to hear that you enjoy our Thai cuisine. Conversely, I'd love to see more Mexican restaurants in Thailand. It's a wonderful way to exchange cultures through food.
As thai myself, this isn't anywhere near what we called "Thai Food" at all, but i appreciate the attempt.
Maybe if there's next time, get them the real one 😅
They are all Thai food. Chicken skewer, fried chicken, glass noodle salad, moo dad-deaw, and umm Thai tea look authentic to me.
The older lady is my favorite. She’s so Authentic 👍🏽 much love coming from this Asian Guy ❤️ Thank You for loving our Food 🙃
Love the Mamas!!
Yes!!!
Love your content mamahs! Thanks For this ❤❤❤❤
You're welcome. Thank you for watching!
Properly not first but early I LOVEEE URRR GUYSSS VIDSSS!!!love all the moms and there all so funny love ur channel!❤☺️
Monica steals the show every single time, she's such a solar person!
What a fun video! I love that they liked everything ❤
Y'all NEVER disappoint!!! Love the video!
I love that they love spice but just imagine if they went to Thailand & tried the foods there with the authentic spice levels. It would blow their heads off. Lol.
I absolutely love these ladies!
Ive been waiiiiiting for this oneeee
"I'm not one for such sophisticated foods" referring to a street curry available for 40 baht ($1.25) at the local market. All of these ladies are welcome at my home in Esan (NE Thailand) and we'll give you afood tour!
wow! I’m Thai! so glad that heard you guys like Thai food . I would like to try Mexican food once! hope i can find it in bangkok
Pad Krapow Gai is the best Thai dish 😎👌 much love Thailand ❤️
Broccoli in Thai green curry HAIYAAA😂
I love all of these mamas, que cariñosas eson. Dios los bendiga 🥰
Thank you for the wonderful video of a Mexican mom trying Thai street food 👍
This was such a great positive video!
Lulu I will take you to Thai and anywhere else you want to go!!!!
You should've ordered them som tom or papaya salad. My fave salad of ALL TIME! Sour, sweet, crunchy & hotter than hell! It kinda reminds me a lil of aquachile.
I can probably explain the eucalyptus scent...maybe. That probably had a lot of galangal haha. Very piney and do not recommend you eating it. 😂
Too woody and strong especially raw. With tom yum, it's naturally sour because of the lime juice. I loved working with Thai folks ❤
ALSO.. The tea is called Cha Yen which can loosely be translated to Thai ice tea. You folks picked a lot of good foods this time
Many things are eaten with rice. Perfect🎉
Thank you for liking our Thai food.
pork and shrimp is a match made in heaven, just look at chinese food or singapore/malaysian food
Love this channel
Watching this episode as I'm on vacation in Thailand having local food 😊
I wish instead of normal fried chicken it was Gai Hat Yai, you can identify it easily when u see fried chicken + fried shallots✨✨ So good. 😋
Bad Mamas. you made me go out to get some Sesame Thai noodles at 8 pm. Thank you
I'm Thai and I do love Mexican food too.
Pad thai is classic when done properly 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
latam probably can recreate all of this recipe , there's quite a lot of new world ingredients in thai food. so it's make sense that they like thai food.
4:11 We call this dish "Drunken Noodles" because it was the dish people order after they got sober.
For Me Thai food in Thailand is some of the best cuisine in the world.
I am Thai but I have never seen satay Kai look like that.
Pork and shrimp doesn’t go together??? There’s SO many foods I can think of in Asia that uses this combination 🙂↕️
I’m Thai-American but I eat my chicken with พริกน้ำปลา or prik nam pla. Prik nam pla is delicious 🤤
my fav type of food is thai food and mexican food 😁😋
A lot of similar flavors between those cultures. I need to see if you guys have a video where they try Filipino food
Now I feel so lucky to have been born as a Thai, living in Thailand 😂
👍111 I love Thai food especially their Jasmine tea with coconut milk ❤🎉
Green curry is my favorite!
Yummy ❤❤❤
I can't wait till the Papahas try this stuff too don't know who it's going to be though. I can see Arturo digging some of this
Green curry with a thai tea, the best.
You know what? I LOVE that you use the sounds G when it supposed to be G and not K like "Thais" teaches, you. As Thai, to use K for the stance of anything starts with G sounds is vomiting, and a target for us to mock you when you try to read my language, as a teacher's blood in generations in my veins, I HATE wrong teaching that leads to tease/mock you.
When you write "Gaitod" instead of "Kaitod" that elevates my soul
Yum, I love Thai food ❤
Great video!
Have the mama's and papa's try 🇵🇦 Panamanian food.
Me as a Thai still think that these dishes were adapted to be more Western friendly and easier to acquire those ingredients. They should try and taste authentic Thai food where we use actual spices and original ingredients like Lime and eggplants. It would give another level of kick to the taste.
@@MamahChannel ¡Genial! 🤯
¡Muchas gracias por responder!
Gracias 🙏 yo igual me molestaba esa voz mal actuada preferia los sub en español
Marthaaaaaa❤❤❤❤
@hom_di I agree with u completely! This looks real Americanize .😅
These Thai dishes did not have the fire turned up. My wife’s green curry could make your tounge fall out. But it’s also delicious.
Should have got the food at Thai spicy heat level 😅. I wish they would have tried green papaya salad and ka pra kao with a fried egg on those are my 2 favourite Thai dishes 🙌. And for dessert mango sticky rice.
With thai food I love it but la lemongrass no puedo😂
I've been in Thailand 10 years, if these Aunties tried authentic versions they'd do backflips.
I remember when i visited Thailand i saw a Mexican restaurant named “crazy gringo”
As a Thai to I've got an anxiety attack not knowing how closed those dishes were compare to what we have here 😅
That Satay shouldn't look like that. From someone who is from Thailand/Isaan all those dishes looks kinda odd..🤨
But thanks for this video. It really lightens up my evening! 🇲🇽 & 🇹🇭
I went to comment so fast when they said their’s CARROT in green curry. But no one talked about it 😭
I think Thai and Maxican foods taste similar and go the same way.
@mamah we want to see them try not to react to iconic songs by Los bukis , Los temerarios etc.
losers get a punishment of having to eat a punishment snack.
Was expecting papaya salad since they wanted spicy 😂
That is definitely NOT chicken Satay 😂 but loved this video nonetheless!
You should have had them try mango and sticky rice
one day i'll make all of these for my peruvian gf
i'm thai btw
Glasses Granny used to be a biker...
❤ Thai food
Those recipes are the westernized one. Thai people rarely eat Chicken Satay, they preferred pork. And people must stop adding random greens in Thai food yo.
The chicken skewers looked dry as heck!
