Man yall just hanging out and not having to worry about any script or "do it for the content" is the best content. Just out there having a good time and letting us tag along for the ride.
Going through chemo sessions and feeling miserable all around. The Blind Guess Food Challenge series and also this one as well made the days where I don't feel like eating anything so much more vicariously enjoyable.
I like the idea of the Syd and the OTV gang exploring local LA county events like this! So many people don't get to see this side of LA. As someone who grew up in and around LA this video made me very happy.
Thai fans here, you guys need to visit us somedayy!! and so glad that you enjoy our food. PS: The fried balls toast said are actually fried sweet potato dough balls called "khai nok kratha," which means quail's egg, as the size of the dough ball is roughly the same size as that of a quail's egg.
I love this kind of content jusr seeing you guys in a setting that's not games/streaming related. Those are great as well but these just bring us on a whole adventure!
The stuff that were fried are fried Thai bananas. They also had fried taros/pumpkin/other veggies. The fried ball is a chewy fried dough that translates to "ostrich egg". It's usually best to eat when it's hot. I'm glad you guys got to try all sorts of Thai food!
I'm glad you got to have so many foods I love and encourage people to try when they come to northern Thailand. Khao Soi, spicy salads, sweet roti, fried random things, meat with pickled veg, spicy basil. You hit the list. Well done Syd.
I'm Thai. The fried thingy you ate at 5:23 was fried banana. I kept telling my boyfriend that I wanted to see OTW trip to Thailand. That would be awesome! 🇹🇭
this was great. love to see people support small businesses. maybe if you could somehow incorporate that into your "can you tell where this is from" series or smoething :)
As a Thai myself, that fried thing is banana and taro (ball just ball fried), and meat pork is suppose to eat with sticky rice it goes together muh perfect.
omg when i was walking around hollywood with my friends a month ago, we also happened upon this night market and it was soooo good, as a lao person i was very happy hehe, glad u guys enjoyed!!
Wat Thai in Noho is also a great spot for Tahi food, the market gets set up on the weekend and they've got lots of food you might not find in a lot of Thai restaurants in LA.
Loved the vlog! I really like watching your food related videos, maybe you can try a new series where you guys check out local food carts or restaurants?
I love Phad Kra Pao (the dish you ate that was supposed to be spicy)! And Khao Soi is amazing too. So nice you get to experience a bit of Thai street food there. The music heard in the background was legit too.
The fried dough balls are called ขนมไข่เต่า it’s basically fried dough balls that have a light sweet taste, the second fried item was a fried banana usually lightly battered and topped with sesame seeds after frying
Syd, you look so beautiful!!! Your makeup is so cute, too! I love this non-scripted content. Just all of you hanging out like this is such a vibe. You’re doing amazing sweetie! 💋📸
If you're going to Vlog, just record what you like to do and see. That's what people want to watch. Asking your audience for ideas isn't a bad thing, but you should definitely focus on your own entertainment before ours because your entertainment is what brought people here in the first place. Be you, Sydney. The audience is already here.
Syd, I love your vlogs! They always keep me intrigued and you have such a bright personality that just brings me in and could keep me entertained for hours! Have a good day :)
My only suggestion would be something you’re interested, I did remember you saying you liked fashion and my mind takes me to trying out fashion trends with friends/ doing some deep dives on the styles you’ve gravitated towards
Sydney, I really hope you don't feel pressured by this, but I REALLY love your food content and will always love to watch more! I'm looking forward to your next video! (Be it a food content or non-food content)
Car Food girl has turned into walking food girl
She will never be able to get away from this....LOL
And if she did 500 of these videos I'd still watch every single one
She's the blindfolded food girl
My fav food channel
Man yall just hanging out and not having to worry about any script or "do it for the content" is the best content. Just out there having a good time and letting us tag along for the ride.
This is my favorite kind of content to make, so I'm glad you enjoy it!!!
7:58 the way Scarra is holding the goose over his shoulder is sooo cute🥹
Real dad energy, carrying stuff so his children can go off and play.
Going through chemo sessions and feeling miserable all around. The Blind Guess Food Challenge series and also this one as well made the days where I don't feel like eating anything so much more vicariously enjoyable.
I hope that all goes well for you!
Hang in there!! I'm proud of you for fighting and glad my content can help you out in any way
Good luck 🍀

5:05 that fried ball is probably my favorite street snacks. It’s sweet and chewy and yes it’s essential fried sticky rice flour mixed with sugar lol
This night market with a music performance in the background immediately gave me holiday vibes :D
I'm glad you got to have so many foods I love and encourage people to try when they come to northern Thailand. Khao Soi, spicy salads, sweet roti, fried random things, meat with pickled veg, spicy basil. You hit the list. Well done Syd.
these food blogs are popping. Keep it up, Syd! If you turn into a food vlogger, that'd be dope. But honestly, any type of vlogging, we love.
Yoooooo, Syd is on fire with the content 🔥🔥🔥 Also, this is the best content where its just hanging out, no script kinda deal 🤌
I'm Thai. The fried thingy you ate at 5:23 was fried banana. I kept telling my boyfriend that I wanted to see OTW trip to Thailand. That would be awesome! 🇹🇭
5:12 the way syd ate that chicken skewer with the stick pointing in gave me anxiety for some reason. new phobia unlocked

this was great. love to see people support small businesses. maybe if you could somehow incorporate that into your "can you tell where this is from" series or smoething :)

Definitely like this type of Vlog as well! Seemed very fun. The music reminds me of Hmong New Year lol, very similar cultural influence.

I love Phad Kra Pao (the dish you ate that was supposed to be spicy)! And Khao Soi is amazing too. So nice you get to experience a bit of Thai street food there. The music heard in the background was legit too.
*Sydney casually asking a Thai street food shop to "make it as spicy as you can possibly make it"* bro.....
that roti pronunciation just killed me 🤣🤣
This was chill👍
Everything looks so yummy, especially the drinks 🤤😁

Pandan leaves are long and slender with a pointy tip. Southeast asians use that to give a sweet aroma to a lot of dishes including rice. 👍
