Love those old Rat L Traps. Another lure that I haven’t used in a million years that has caught me a ton of fish is a Bomber 6A. Need to pull some out and remember the old days.
Wow! It's funny that you mention that old Bomber because that same lure was so close to making this video! I intend on doing a follow up video to this at some point because I also wanted to use the old Shad Rap and a few others but I just couldn't use them all otherwise the video would have been 2 hours long, lol!
Bombers just work med action crankin rod h20 brand works great on these baits and rods are cheap or a med crankin stick. Got boxes full of vintage bombers. Don’t forget about 7 a s. I did replace all the hooks mainly with owner st 36 s .
I used to use the Rat L Trap all the time as a kid and caught so many bass!.. my fav lure ever which l still use today tho is the Manns 1-Minus ..I don’t care how fancy all these new lures get.. give me my 1-Minus haha.. really cool video brother’👍👊
Great video and more good information buddy! Love that 5XD! Good job out there and good job explaining things. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to more! As always, #LowBrowFishing rocks!!!
A few weeks ago, I was throwing Mann's Jelly Worm, Grape. I have a few original Arbogast Jitterbugs, Heddon Crazy Crawlers, Bomber, and Bandit crankbaits. I keep them as antiques. Recently, I ordered Barney Spoons, old school, hand crafted in Kent, Ohio.
Good one! I'm mostly done with whatever Pro Fishermen channels are selling...I mean saying. Mostly just lowbrow dudes like yourself, Steve Rogers, and Mikey Balzz. Spend less and learn just as much with what's already in the tackle box. And for the next video, Slug-O's, Twister Tails, and clip-on spinnerbaits! Stay cool my southern cyber friend, God bless you and yern.
When is the last time you tried fishing with some old-school lures?
I am constantly amazed that you take that little boat out on the lake and always seem to catch fish.
Thanks!

Bill Lewis Rattle Traps are the main brand I throw when It comes to a lipless crank, they’re also my favorite squarebills to throw.
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Those Cotton Cordell lures are really good. I've been using them for years.

I still have a bunch of old rebel baits laying around somewhere. I used to throw them all the time but haven't in years.
Give them a try!
@@LowBrowFishingthe fish don’t know how old they are , put on some new hooks if needed and get out there and catch those critters .
Good information Lowbrow. Keep them coming!
