That floating Rapala got a lot of people started in bass fishing. I've caught so many fish twitching it over holes in submerged grass. So many great memories. Great video Mike!

I'm a lizard guy. Started throwing it cuz I saw so many lizards around where I fished. Shonuff, I got bites quick. I prefer the Yamamoto ones but they are what I started on. Haddock's and Creme make nice ones too.

I live in Massachusetts and use 6" lizards from late Spring all the way through Fall. I don't know many other people who throw them but they are absolutely killer!

I am in central Massachusetts. Use a Texas rigged lizard 🦎 all the time. Pumpkin green or black with chartreuse tail. Love a bass with a mouth full of lizards 🦎

I have been killing them all year so far on a Roostertail (4LB Bass and a 4lb Pickeral) and the (2) Treble Rapala.. I like to tie straight to the Rapala as tight as I can get cuz you can adjust the Knot position on the 0 ring from top to bottom which allows the Rapala to dive from inches to 2 feet deeper without changing the speed of the retrieve.. The Roostertail has Single handely got me (3) South Jersey Slams already this year.. Great baits and Great Video (M)Ike.. Keep'm Comin and Never Give Up!

In the lakes around my area the only thing that, on its day out fishes a small Rapala Original 5 or 7 cm, is the Tanzanian Devil lure. But I really love the tight action from the balsa wood lures.

I was raised high mt. stream trout fishing in the northern Sierra Nevada’s and you just gave up my in-line spinner secret for bass. 🤣😂🤣. If you throw a spinner on the outside or inside weed edge on pressured lakes you are going to get a big surprise. They are gold man! Great video as usual Mike. Thanks a bunch!

Lizards are "such a simple bait, they're almost a cross between a worm and a creature bait and they look like crawfish, snakes, salamanders, newts, waterdogs, eels, and lampreys. Sounds pretty complex to me. I've been using lizards for 15 years and always thought they looked like lizards. Lol. "It looks alive and they want to "kill" it". Uh yeah, same goes for the other 2874 baits Mike and please just use the word eat. Haha
