Alan, you never quit amazing me! You have a knack for coming up with great ideas. I cannot wait to see what ideas you have came up with over this winter. The bucket creations are my favorite! I am going to try to copy your bucket blaster idea but feeding into a square bucket (for the sluice shape) with your silicone matt inside. Thank you for sharing! Cant wait for the next videos!!
While watching this video, I had a thought that I need to share. Your niche might be a full package recirculation system. Sluice, mats, tubs, pump, filter for clean water, adjustable grizzly bar or bucket trommel, etc. A full package recirculation system by the 3d printing hobby miner. Something clean, easy, and effective. Idk just a thought. Take care, thanks for the video.
I just discovered your channel today. Excellent diy equipment. I have custom mining equipment as well. I find good gold with it too! Good gold hunting to ya! Take care.
Could you tell me the easiest way to trim a silicone mat? tried straight edge and exacto knife but mat is pretty wobbly and does not leave a very smoothe edge.
Cool idea. Looks like a cross between the 911 Prospecting "best danged pan" (that looks like a dust pan) and a Gold Claw, with a silicone mat up where you would normally have gold carry over the edge! Looks good! I tried printing the "Vogus Batea pan" off "Thingyverse... DON'T. Wasted way too much filament for the support than it should have and I was unhappy with the end product. A Batea pan needs to be pretty big and even my Ender 3 Max with 12x12 bed, the pan is tiny even maxed out. I might try again, but first impression was not good. Super glad to see a video Alan! I don't know if you haven't been posting or if UA-cam is being UA-cam and blocking my subscriptions.
I agree printing a pan on a 12x12 printer is hard to do. I was asked to make the pan. Just a few more months and I will be able to explain more on the pan. I have been quiet most of the summer with lots going on. You take care and Merry Christmas
Alan for some reason UA-cam did not notify me this video was available. I'm glad I checked back on your videos and saw it this was a good one. Anyhow have a good day and we will see you next time at the claim.
Been about 12 weeks since I’ve been out so this helps quench the fever was hoping to see more material run from that paylayer but such is life interesting pan for sure looked like a great day out and it’s good to see you again thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
Alan - this is your best version of the Bucket Blaster highbanker so far. Well done! The 3/8 inch holes and having the water bar up front are fantastic improvements. Impossible to beat this hopper design for the cost of a bucket! Looks like your wife enjoys using the new blue banker, which is probably the most important consideration of all! Cheers, Dan

Oh yeah... which iteration do you think has been your highest production per labor/hassle outfit?
Like your generosity of making things.
Interesting pan variant.
Thanks!
Good to see ya back on the net....and good luck to ya
Thank you
Nice pan. 👍

If you haven't heard, you can get a permit to prospect cape d again. I started the process already and hopefully can go there for new years
